Crossing time
Part 1 (Omi)
By Yami Kitsune

Omi sighed as he looked out the window of the plane. Kritiker was sending him to Egypt to retrieve an agent that had gotten injured there, and needed an escort home. The others had outright refused to take this mission. Ken claimed he had soccer practice, Aya said he wanted to spend time with his sister, but Omi got the feeling that Aya wanted to protect his sister from Yohji, who wanted to stay and get to know Aya-chan better. So Omi was pretty much the one who was drafted to go. Omi sighed again and rested his head on the back of his chair, deciding he had a long flight ahead of him he closed his eyes to take a short nap.

Omi felt like he had only been asleep for a few minutes when the plane hit some rough turbulence making Omi open his eyes again. He blinked and looked around the plane rubbing his eyes.

“What's going on…?” He asked, before he realized, there was no one on the plane. It was completely empty. Omi stood quickly and looked around. The plane jerked again making Omi fall back in his seat. Omi yelped at the sudden movement, he was about to stand up again, when he glanced out the window. His eyes went wide when he saw the wing of the plane was on fire. Omi jumped when he heard people screaming, he looked around but he still didn't see any one. But he knew they were there, he could hear them screaming and crying.

Omi stood up again and stepped into the aisle, looking around trying to find where the screams were coming from. He looked towards the cockpit, that's when he saw a man dressed in a white bathrobe, and what looked like a towel wrapped around his head.

“Princess Omi.” The man said, Omi blinked and looked around him, when he was sure no one else was there he looked back at the man and pointed to himself.

“me…?” Omi asked. The man didn't say anything as he stepped forward. Omi took a half a step back.

“Princess Omi. My name is Shadi” The man said again. Omi frowned. “And you are needed in Egypt.”

“I…think you have me confused with someone else…” Omi said. The man just shook his head.

“No, you are the princess of thieves. “ Shadi said and reached into his robe. Omi was about to grab his darts when Shadi pulled out what looked like an old hour glass. Omi blinked at it.

“What is that…?” Omi asked still frowning.

“To send you where you are needed.” Shadi said and tipped the hourglass upside down. Omi screamed as the plane started diving. There was a flash of light and Omi was laying on the floor. Omi blinked and looked around. There were people in their seats crying and screaming. Omi could see the flames on the wing and stood up.

“Get back in your seat sir!” The flight attendant was yelling at him. Omi quickly went to get back in his seat, when the plain jerked again sending Omi flying forward. Omi yelped as he started rolling down the isle and hit the wall on the other side, his legs up on the wall. He frowned.

If the people hadn't been fear of their lives, they would have found it amusing, but as it was it was just annoying. Omi straitened himself out just when there was a loud crash from the end of the plane and people screaming. Omi looked up just in time to see people being sucked out of the back of the plane, which was now missing. He saw seats being pulled off the floor and people flying out. Omi screamed himself when he felt himself being pulled out, too. He grabbed onto the nearest chair he could reach. All the time thinking, //This is not how an assassin should die!!//

Omi yelped when the seat started shaking and one of the bolts popped off, nearly hitting him in the head. Omi looked up at the people in the seat. A man holding his wife, who was clutching her baby for dear life. The man looked down at Omi when another bolt popped. He glared at Omi.

“Are you trying to kill us too!?” He yelled and slammed his foot down on Omi's hand. Omi winced but didn't let go. He was actually scared, he didn't want to die. Not like this. The man stomped on his hand again and Omi felt tears forming in his eyes.

He looked at the back of the plane again. Just in time to see someone else being pulled out, but this time, Shadi was standing there. And the boy that was pulled out went right through him. Omi didn't see what the boy looked like, but he knew it was a boy because of the school uniform he was wearing. Omi was about to tighten his grip on the seat when another sharp pain in his fingers told him that the man had kicked his hand again, and definitely broken a finger or two. Omi's hand slipped and he went flying out the back of the plane.

He screamed as he went right through Shadi, his back hit the rough edge of the plane as he was sucked out, leaving a large wound on his back. Shadi sighed and closed his eyes.

“Good luck. Miu.”

Crossing time
Part 1 (Nagi)
By Yami Kitsune

Nagi grumbled to himself as he got on the plane. He didn't want to follow Omi to Egypt, it was too hot there. Nagi looked and watched Omi take his seat before he went to the back and sat down. He watched Omi before he sat back and stared out the window. He grumbled more as he remembered what had happened two days ago.

~*Flash back*~

“Why do *I* have to go!?” Nagi yelled as Crawford handed him the plane ticket.

“Because I said you do.”

“Why can't Schuldig go?”

“Because, he can't be serious about a mission like this. And I won't even consider sending Farfarello.”

“Then YOU go. Because I don't want to. I don't even know HOW to speak Egyptian.”

“Then you better start studying chibi.” Schuldig said as he walked past. Nagi glared and used his powers to send the ticket flying at Schuldig's face. Schuldig yelped and ducked. “Oh come on Nagikins. I know you want to see your boyfriend again.” Schuldig teased. Nagi glared and threw him against the wall.

“Omi is NOT my boyfriend!!!” Nagi yelled.

//Oh really? Could have fooled me, I mean I never knew enemies could be on a first name basis.// Schuldig chuckled.

“Nagi, that's enough.” Crawford said rubbing his forehead. “You are going, and that is that.” He said and went to his office.

//Heh, better start studying Nagikins~//

“Knock it off Schuldig!” Crawford called from the other room. “And don't you dare break another TV Nagi! Or you won't get paid for this mission!” Crawford yelled before Nagi could throw Schuldig at the TV. Nagi grumbled and threw him into the kitchen instead before stomping to his room and slamming the door. He had literally spent two days locked in his room teaching himself how to speak Egyptian.

~*End*~ Nagi was snapped out of his thoughts when someone screamed. He frowned and looked to where the person was pointing. He blinked when he saw the wing was on fire. He used his powers to try and put it out, but nothing happened. The next few minutes went by so fast. Nagi had just seen Omi go rolling down the isle when the back of the plane exploded. Next thing Nagi knew he was flying out. He tried to catch himself with his powers, but nothing was happening.

As he flew out the back, he saw a man standing there in a white bathrobe, and a towel on his head. Nagi blinked. Had he just gone THROUGH that man? Nagi didn't have time to think about it as he started falling. It wasn't long before he lost consciousness; the last thing Nagi thought was, //At least won't be awake to die…// He sighed as his eyes fell closed.
