~Ryou's P.O.V~

The early morning sunshine filtered through the curtains in my room. The light hit my eyes and woke me with a start. I had been dreaming about the first day of the new school year. My first time at college. I slipped out of my bed, my feet landing in my slippers.

I am 13 years old, and as I rummaged through my closet I wondered who I would meet. Some people I knew were going from my old school, but I didn't care much for them. I hope the people in my class this year would be better. Quickly chucking on my uniform, I grabbed my bag and an apple and ran out the door yelling a quick bye to my yami Bakura who I wouldn't let come to school, just incase he murdered someone.

The bus stop was right in the wind but I stood there until the bus came, luckily it was a school bus so I didn't have to give up my seat. I sat down beside a blonde girl. She glanced at me and gave me a small smile. I could see she was wearing my school's uniform, so I stuck out my hand.

`I'm Ryou, what's your name?' I asked her quickly and quietly. She took my hand and shook it.

`I'm Emma, nice to meet you Ryou,' she replied. From the seat behind her, a fiery red head stuck her head over the seat and poked Emma in the shoulder.

`Hey Emma, how many more stops to go?' The red head asked impatiently. I glanced back and saw a pretty girl with a slightly darker skin tone, and brown hair sitting with the red head. I tried to catch her eye but she was too busy looking out the window or talking to the red head. I turned around, not wanting to stare.

`Only 5 more stops!' Emma said to the impatient red head and turned quickly to me, `Is it your first year too?' She asked briskly.

`Who me? Oh yeah… it is,' I replied nodding. The red head sat back down in her seat and started talking to the brown haired girl again.

I sighed and pulled out my apple. I had some money so I could buy something to eat at school, I put it back in my bag though as you can't eat on the bus and let out my breath. I wish I had bothered to grab some breakfast before rushing out the door.

The bus pulled up to the stop before school. I can feel butterflies in my stomach, like you do whenever you don't know what's going to happen. I feel nervous and surprised. Two boys get on a this stop, both blondes. After finally paying their bus fee, they walk to the back of the bus, making some other kids shift so they could sit down. I clenched my fists till the knuckles were white before I realized we were at school.

Ryou: Your stopping it there? Evil….
Emma: I know I am.
Ryou: *twitches*
Seto: Am I in this?
Emma: Maybe… if your really well behaved and give me lots of money…
Seto: O_O Go away….
Emma: *pushes Ryou and Seto out* Right! Review please ^^. Oh yeah, I don't own anything cept the plot and my friends… mwahaha.
