A Black Dragon's Graveyard

Chapter 8

~*~

Of course I called Tristan. I didn't know what to do after what I had done to Kaiba. Or was it me that had done it? I was crying hopelessly since the incident. I thought Kaiba had killed over on me.

Tristan was trying assure me that I didn't, but I could hardly believe that.

Jou was even pouring his eyes out. Which, for some reason, wasn't doing me justice. It was making me ill and weak. I realize crying does that, but with me and him both crying, it just made it a billion times worse.

I sat down beside Tristan, trying to relax my nerves. Luckily, only Tristan knows what I did to the poor CEO. Neither of us wanted to go to the police, but we could vow that Kaiba probably would. It wouldn't surprise me one bit. I was also glad that Tristan allowed me to go home so I could wash and change into some clean clothes. My dad was in bed, so I didn't have to explain why there was blood all over me. That wouldn't have went well. I sweatdropped, thinking about that. I sighed when both Jou and I started to settle down.

Tristan was obviously nervous. He was looking everywhere else in the waiting room except at me. Why wouldn't he be nervous though? He was sitting next to a rapist. Oh great! I could feel another vengeful tear flood coming on by Jou. He knew what I was thinking, even if I wasn't thinking it.

/Jou? Calm down. I know you're scared…we both are. But…Seto will get through this. I know he will./, I guaranteed.

Jou whimpered. //He'll hate me! I know he will. I don't know what had gotten into me.//.

/You? Excuse me, but who's body were you using to rape him with?/, I growled.

//…//.

I snorted. That discussion ended quicker than I thought. I leaned back into my seat and pouted.

Tristan blinked and turned to me. "What's the matter, Joey? You're acting like a pregnant woman with mood swings." He was going to touch my shoulder, but had a second thought about it. He stared down at the floor uncomfortably.

I stared at him, feeling sorry for him. I know he was scared of me, and he didn't want to do anything infatuating that he would think threaten him. "It's okay Tristan. I know you're frightened of me. I would be too."

"What? Me? Frightened?" He forced a laugh and then started weeping. "Okay, maybe I am. But I never knew you to do something like this."

"I don't understand it myself, Tristan. One minute I'm fine, the next I've gone off the deep end."

"Mr. Wheeler." Kaiba's doctor stepped around the corner of the waiting room, staring at me with a reassuring smile. "You may go in to see him now."

I nodded and looked at Tristan. "Are you going to be fine here by yourself?"

Tristan smirked. "Go on. I'll be fine. I just wanted to make sure you didn't go crazy on everybody."

Anyone could have taken that differently. In my case, raping someone. I laughed mentally, or Jou laughed anyways. I turned back to the doctor and nodded once. "Did he say anything to you, about what happened?"

The man shook his head. "No, he just threw the cleaning pan at me and the nurses and said he didn't want to talk about it."

Joey gave a sigh of relief, along with Jou. "I'll see if I can get anything out of him," I lied.

The doctor nodded. "You do that. Maybe he'll listen to you."

Seto's eyebrow was twitching with aggravation. All he wanted to do was go home and see if his little brother was alright. He looked up to the sound of someone knocking on his door. "Go away!" He growled. "I told you I'm not going to tell you anything!"

Joey opened the door partially and gave a small smirk. "You don't have to. I was part of it, remember?" He joked. Although, that couldn't have been the worse time.

The brunet's eyes widened in shock as he tightened his grip on the sheets. "W-what do you want…Wheeler?"

Joey smiled warmly. "Kaiba, I'm sorry. I don't know what happened to Jou. Actually, he doesn't either."

"So, I was right. You do have a yami," he murmured as he stared down at his lap, his eyes trembling with realization. "I don't want to see you here, Wheeler."

Joey nodded, a bit offended. "I understand, Kaiba. You want me to stay out of your life. I'll leave…"

Seto cut him off. "Don't! That's not what I mean, Wheeler. You didn't let me finish." He took a deep breath before turning to look out the window to the parking-lot outside. "I want to speak to you somewhere more secluded."

//Does he hate me?//, Jou asked himself, not really expecting that his thoughts would be asked aloud.

Joey swallowed the lump in his throat and asked. "Do you hate me?"

As if someone told Seto that he was going out of business, he sat straight up with a stunned expression. "No, Wheeler. I don't hate you, I never did. All that teasing I was giving you…I was only…flirting." He blushed faintly.

Joey blinked. He wasn't sure he heard him correctly. "Flirting? Do you really like me that much?"

Seto snorted. "If you must know, yes. I just never thought that it would make you snap…or your yami for that matter."

Joey's eyes sheltered themselves into the shadows under his blonde bangs. "Seto…Joey shouldn't be the one that's sorry. He wasn't the one that raped you."

That same expression returned to the CEO's face, except it was as if his brother was taken away as well. That voice. He remembered that voice from last night, and he always will remember. "Jou?" He turned to stare at the yami, but was disturbed to see him standing right by his bedside in such a fluent motion. He cringed, wanting to shrink into some unknown region of his sheets. "I…I'm sorry to…Jou. I didn't mean to make you…upset."

Jou's eyes still remained veiled, but they gleamed with the hunger of Seto's fear. Not only could he sense it, but he could actually see it from the stoic CEO. He backed away from the bed, afraid of what he might do. He realized then that it was Seto's fear that drove him crazy, raging with lust even. "Where did you have in mind to talk?"

Seto relaxed a bit after Jou had moved away. "Do you know where the Duelist Paradise is?"

Jou stared at the brunet like he had lost it. "I don't, but I'm sure Joey does."

/Yeah, it's barely secluded./, Joey remarked.

Seto nodded. "I want you to meet me in the backroom. I know the owner, he'll make sure no one will bother us."

"Where will I know to go?" Jou asked.

"Just tell the owner and he'll take you back there, without any hassle," Seto assured.

//Did you get all of that, Joey?//

/Yeah…/

Jou felt a tight pressure on the left side of his head, recognizing the emotion of delay. //What's the matter, Joey?//.

Joey blushed as he responded. /Could you…um…/.

The yami smiled and nodded. //Not a problem.// He approached the bed and leaned down to capture Seto's lips in a soft kiss. Joey quickly exchanged places with Jou and hardened the kiss.

Seto gasped into Joey's mouth. He wasn't expecting neither of them to just walk up and kiss him like that, but he liked it. He felt the difference immediately afterwards, but he didn't mind. He returned the kiss with the same force and used his tongue to pry open Joey's mouth.

Joey complied, but promptly dominated the other's mouth before Seto could his.

Seto had to laugh mentally. He had never been dominated and he wanted more.

They broke apart, regaining their breath.

"We'll continue this later," Joey whispered against Seto's bruised lips before stealing another kiss and leaving.

Seto watched the blonde leave and sighed half dazed. He then frowned and crossed his arms over his chest. "I can't believe I just let him do that." He smiled weakly as he stared out the window and smirked.

"Did you get anything out of him?" The doctor asked Joey as he approached the teen.

Joey shook his head with a grin and a chuckle. "Not a word, man. He's absolutely stubborn." He shrugged as he passed Seto's doctor. "I don't know what to do."

Tristan stared at his blonde friend curiously and quirked an eyebrow. He knew what the blonde was doing and figured that something passed between the two teens, otherwise, Joey wouldn't have a grin plastered to his face. He smirked and shook his head. "Are you ready to go then?" He asked.

"Yep!" Joey nodded and headed to the doors without a second word.

The doctor wanted to stop him, to ask him what had happened while he was in there, but hesitated. He just smirked and allowed the two teens to leave. "I guess it really isn't any of my business." He turned to walk down the hallway to check on his other patients.

Meanwhile, outside, Tristan grabbed Joey's shoulder, trying to get him to wait. "Hey, bro? What happened back there in Seto's room?"

Joey smiled at his friend and stuffed his hands into his coat pockets. "He forgave me. Weird, huh?"

Tristan blinked, not fully understanding why Seto would just forgive something like that. "I'm going to guess that Seto didn't know what happened to you either?"

Joey nodded. "Yeah, you could say that." He sighed. "Come on, I'm hungry."

Tristan chuckled, deciding to forget what happened. "Right. How about some pizza?"

"Sounds good!"
