Chapter 1

Many colossal shapes loomed ahead of the Egypt archeologists and the travailed over the great Sahara Desert. A young boy with exotic tri-colored hair smiled brightly as they neared closer to the huge pyramids. He had sun golden bangs that framed his face and showed off his pale skin. Red magenta and deep black spikes flaying around his head, blowing swiftly in the wind despite the de-gravitational way they stick up. His name was Yugi Motou. His grandfather, Sugoroku road along side him. His gray hair spiked like his grandsons, but hidden under a yellow bandana. Another involvement to this group way another young pale boy by the name of Ryou Bakura. This young one had snow-white hair that was soft as the boy himself. Though now, his hair was dirtied slightly because of the desert sand. Ryou sighed and lent down onto his horse. Yugi looked over at his friend.

"Yo Ryou, are you ok?" Yugi asked. Ryou looked over at him and nodded his head.

"Yes," he said quietly," I'm fine, just a little tiered is all." Ryou's British accent hinting off on his words. Yugi shrugged and turned forward.

'Wow,' Yugi thought. 'I can't believe that were actually going to Egypt! Finally grandpa's let us come. I just love Egypt…I wonder what we'll find here…I hope it's cool!' Yugi smiled brightly at this thought. He turned to his grandpa.

"Grandpa, thank you so much for bring us here!" Yugi exclaimed at his grandpa. Sugoroku beamed at his grandson and laughed.

"Oh Yugi, I am glad to do it! I just hope that you and Ryou enjoy yourself." Ryou turned to Sugoroku and grinned.

"I'm sure we will grandpa." Everyone calls Sugoroku grandpa who's Yugi's friend. Ryou become very close to the old man over time as he did to Yugi. They came ever so closer to the great triangular objects in front of them.

"Wow! Oh my god there huge!!" Yugi burst out. The young teens plentiful wide violet eyes grew larger as they came upon the pyramids. Ryou's chocolate cream eyes sparkled in the golden sun from excitement and anticipation. They soon came to a stop at the archeological campsite and started to unpack their stuff into the tents. As they took their horses to the stall like areas, Yugi starred up at the pyramids.

'There just so big…I wonder what is inside them…' Yugi thought. He tied his horse up and then looked to an entrance under the sand. Curiosity getting the better of him and Yugi walked toward it. It was like a hole in the ground. Kinda like a well maybe.

'Hmmm…' Yugi pondered. 'What's this… Maybe it's a tomb of some kind!' Yugi peered into the darkness, intrigued by the well-like tomb's appearance. He leaned farther, trying to see into the darkness.

'Man! I can't see a damn thing…' Yugi leaned in closer until he was barley on the outside ground. He then started to feel gravity taking hold of his body. The young boys' arms flayed in the air tying to keep himself on the ground.

"Oh man…" Yugi wailed quietly, panicking. Ryou turned to see his friend leaning over the entrance about to fall in. Ryou's eyes widened.

"Oh my god YUGI!!!" He yelled running over to Yugi. Yugi suddenly fell over the edge and screamed. Yugi clutched his eyes shut, the felt a hand grab his leg. He looked up to see Ryou holding on to him. Teeth grinding in the expense of holding Yugi.

"Yugi…" he ground out, "Are you ok…"

"Yeah, fine!" Yugi yelled back. " Just pull me up!" Ryou nodded pulling Yugi out of the entrance. When fully out the dropped to the ground, breathing heavily and sweat lathering on their brows.

"Damn…Yugi don't ever do that again!" Ryou breathed out. Yugi nodded slowly and looked toward the hole again.

'What just happened…I know I was looking in but…when I tried to fall in…why would I do that. Something weird is going on…' Yugi thought weakly, shivering slightly at the thought of what just happened. Ryou looked over at him.

"Yugi…Yugi what's wrong…are you alright?" You hastily looked up at Ryou.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine…just fine" He whispered. Ryou stood up and gave Yugi a hand up.

"Come on Yugi, lets get back to camp," Ryou said. Yugi nodded and followed his friend. Looking back at the well, he just couldn't help but wonder if him and Ryou would some how end up down there, in that darkness.

DMYY- Ok, I know this first chapter is short, but bear with me here. I'm kinda doing a lot of stories at once and seeing which one get the most review so I will update the one that does. Please review ^^
