Oh...and, there's been a lot of drama with my family lately, and basically, my life has been screwed up. Well, my problems set aside, here's your chapter:

Flashback/ songfic~
Last night I cried, tossed and turned.
Woke up with dry eyes.
My mind was racing, feet were pacing ;
Lord help me, please tell me, what I have gotten into.....
Alexandra look at him. The man she thought she loved. The man she believed loved her back.
"Thai...", she said, tears brimming in her eyes. She looked at the woman on his arm. "H-how could you?!"
He only looked down and shook his head.
"Thai, look at me when I'm talking to you!" Her voice had a stern attribute. She smirked.
Ran my three miles to clear my mind.
It always helps me out.
It's my therapy, when I'm losing it,
which is usually....
She wiped away her tears, as he looked up at her. Alexandra's voice was still shaky.
"I should've known known better. You know what..you were never good for me."
I'm on an emotional rollercoaster.
Loving you ain't nothing healthy.
Loving you was never good for me.
But I can't get off....
Thai couldn't speak. He was stunned by the fact that she had actually caught him. He had been able to elude her for about a month now. What had changed?
Alexandra stood there, looking at him. Within that second, she turned and walked away. With one final glance, she whispered, "It's over."
End Flashback ~
"Alex....Alex......hello???" Ryou looked at Alexandra with concern in his eyes. She snapped out of her daydream. Her face was flushed, and held a sad look. It almost seemed as if she was trying to hold back tears. She quickly wiped them away, as she was not one to cry, and gave him a warm smile.
"I'm sorry..I was day-dreaming." She looked at the large house standing in front of them. She hadn't realized that they had walked all the way from the soda shop. She looked at him. "Is this your house?"
He nodded. The house stood about four stories high. It was painted a light tan, with off white shingles, and pure white railings. The lawn was neatly cut, and the bushes were all trimmed. It looked gorgeous; Alexandra was awed by it's beauty.
Ryou snapped his fingers in front of her face. When she blinked in response, she smiled.
"You're really out of it today."
"I know," she sighed.
He put his hand on her shoulder.
"Is there anything I can do to help?"
She smiled. "Don't worry about it. It's nothing important."
He nodded. "If you say so.."
Ryou started to walk the length of the path, leading to his house; Alexandra not far behind. He paused, allowing her to catch up. When they finally reached the door, Ryou pulled out a set of keys from his pocket. He must've had at least ten keys on that rings.
"What are all of those keys for?" She asked.
"Well," he said. "This one is for the master bed room, this one is for the guest bedroom, this one is for my room, this one..."
Alexandra watched as he sorted through all of the keys. She was relieved when he reached the last two.
"And these are for this door here."
"....Wow." That was all she could say.
He opened the door, and allowed her to walk. He followed behind, then closed the door.
"So are you ready for your lesson?" He asked her. She nodded in response. He acknowledged her, then led her to a large room. According to Ryou, this was the den.
"This is the den?" she questioned.
"Yep"
"But....But it's so big!"
He blinked in question. "This is the smallest room in the class."
"Are you serious?!"
He laughed and nodded. Wow, she thought.
"So let's get started. Repeat after me: Donna tenki desu ka."
"Donna t-tenki desu ka."
He smiled. "That's good! You just asked me how today's weather was."
"Really?" she smiled. "Cool. Thank you!"
"Anytime. Do you want to move on?
"Su--"
Before she had a chance to fully reply, the phone rang. Ryou stood up and nodded in a form of respect. He walked over to the ringing machine, and answered it. He was shocked to hear who was on the phone, but even more-so, to hear this person crying.
"Yugi...what's wrong. Did something happen?"
Yugi cried hysterically on the other end of the phone. His voice quivered here and there, and his words were jumbled to the point of which you couldn't understand him. He was sobbing terribly, and was in desperate need of support.
"Yugi, everything'll be ok, mate. We're all here for you. You want us to come down there?" A pause could be heard on Ryou's side of the phone. "Alright, we're on our way."
With the soft click of the telephone, Ryou had grabbed his jacket, and in a matter of seconds, explained everything to Alexandra. They rushed out of the house, and sprinted down to the train station. They boarded a train that was going directly to Domino City. Luckily for them, there was no back up down in the subways. They reached their destination in no less than 20 minutes, then ran down to the Domino City Hospital.
Both Alexandra and Ryou were fatigued and out of breath. They hurried to the information desk, and immediately demanded the information that they were looking for. With that, they ran to the room that they had been told to go to. Sitting outside of the room, was a large group of people, consisting of Yugi, Joey, Tea, Tristan, Mai, Serenity, and Duke. All of them looked at Alexandra with questioning eyes. Ryou only gave them a glare. He didn't have time to go into detail about her.
A doctor emerged from the room. He stared down at Yugi with a grim look.
"Doctor, how is he doing? Is he going to be alright?!?" Yugi's eyes pleaded with the doctor's.
"Mr. Moto....," the doctor sighed. "He's not doing too good. He is still in a state of coma, and it doesn't seem to be too bright for him. He... might not make it out of here. In all honesty, Mr. Moto, he may not make it past tonight."
".....what??!" Tears swelled up in the young boy's eyes. He couldn't stand the thought of life without this person. He needed him in his life. This man was Yugi's inspiration. He was Yugi's advisor. He was Yugi's friend. He was all that Yugi had left, and more than anything.. he was Yugi's grandfather.
Joey stood up and grabbed the doctor by the collar of his shirt.
"Listen doc. There's gotta be something that you can do to save Yugi's grandfather! Aren't you guys getting overpayed as it is? I know that there's something you can do!"
The doctor looked away from Joey.
"He's....beyond our help. There's nothing more we can do for him."
Joey's eyes widened. Tea stepped forward, tears in her eyes as well.
"Don't tell us that!" she cried. "There must be something that you can do! Anything..." She feel to her knees, burying her face in her hands. She sobbed on end, barely allowing herself to breath. Mai kneeled down and put an arm around her shoulder.
"Shh....it'll be alright, Tea. Things....things happen in life. Everything has a purpose."
A nurse came out of the room. She turned to the group.
"You all can go in now."
eyes
Without a second of hesitation, the group rushed into the room. All of their eyes widened in sadness and shock when they saw what lie before them. Laying in the hospital bed before them was none other than Solomon Moto. Numerous tubes were hooked up to his fraile body. His breath was shallow, and the rise of his chest was almost invisible to the human eye. He had a distressed look on his face, and his soul was slowly being taken from his body. The heart moniter beeped with every pulse of his life-giving organ. Everyone sighed in relief, knowing that his heart was still going, but they didn't not realize that the soft beeping noise was steadily increasing in speed.
They all exited the room by the nurse's orders. Doctors came from left and right, along with nurses, from every direction. They all ran into the room, bags of fluids, piling up in their arms. They hooked the old man up to almost every machine in the room.
Suddenly, panick arose from everyone in the room. The old man's heart was stopping. There was nothing that could be done to help him. They tried an electrical shock, but to no use. The long, eery cry of the heart monitor brought silence to the crowded room. With solemn faces, the nurses detached the machinery from the man's lifeless body. A doctor looked up at the clock, then recorded it down onto his notepad. He spoke softly to himself as he wrote.
" Time of death....6:32 P.M."
Ok everyone, that's all I can type for now. I was just released from the hospital yesterday morning, and I'm still really tired. I'll try to update more often. Please review. Thanks.
and by the way, I don't know what's going on, but my computer is really starting to act up. It's messing up the lyrics to the song, so just to let you know, the song actually goes:

that's the part I used, anyway. So, that done, review, and tell me what you think of this chapter.
