[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
         Ok everyone...I know it's been a really, really long time since I updated, but I've been having a lot of "problems" lately, and to add on top of that, I have so much school work I need to catch up on. I can never get a chance to just type..see, that's why I'm here, 12:28 AM., typing this, because I freakin love you guys so much. ^_^..ok...anywayz...this chapter is pretty pointless, and probably won't affect future chapters...but hey, it's for the Christmas spirit. I'm thinking of making this chapter a songfic-ish chapter...I really don't know yet. It's a surprise... he he he...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~
         It's December in Domino City! (Ok...so I really have no clue how months and holidays and stuff work over there, but what the hey- this is my fic right?) And yes...just like any other winter month, it was freezing (shut up giovanni). School was out for the season, thus leaving an extremely bored young man, commonly known as Ryou. He was really a sight for sore eyes, especially at this time of year. His hair was as white as the now-falling snow, really bringing out the beauty of his eyes. They were of a dark, lucious brown. and really stood out against his pale skin.(^_^ I did that on purpose just so you could think about him Ayame) He always had a bright smile on his face, making the day even more beautiful than what it was.
         He ambled through the park with his hands tucked deep in his pockets. He could hear the laughter of young children playing, and the few high pitched squeals of a child getting hit by a snowball. Ryou stopped for a second to watch them as they played their self-created game of "Hide and go hit your friend in the face with a snowball" (some hide and go seek, huh? lol) But something snagged his attention. A voice...but not just any voice, it was a familiar voice. He followed it, until he found the source.
         Alexandra sat there on the park bench, also watching the young children play their game. She smiled at their sportsmanship, actually quite impressed at the complex rules of the game. She didn't notice, however, the young man slowly advancing towards her, until ....... ***SPLAT!*** A softly packed snowball hit her right on the side of her face. She flinched at the sudden impact, but upon realizing it was no more than a ball of snow, she quickly stood up to search for the culprit. No..this person would not escape her wrath. This person couldn't flee. This person...was no where to be seen, until...
         Ryou stalked up behind her. He inwardly laughed. She had no clue that it was him who had thrown the snowball. The snow crunched under his feet, but before she could turn around to address the sound, her eyes were covered. But by what? This doesn't feel like skin , she thought. Indeed she was right. In fact, what she was actually feeling against her eyes, was the soft, cottony material of Ryou's gloves. But she didn't know that.
         He lowered his face to be level with her ear, and in a voice not his own, whispered, "Guess who?" She knew this voice, and yet, she did not know this voice. None the less, the hot breath in her ear sent chills down her spine. She was about to drop-kick this intruder, until she felt warm lips pressed against the back of her neck. Almost at once, she sighed in relief, and relaxed into this person's hold. She turned to face him, now positive of who it was.
         "Hey you." She smiled and pecked him on the cheek.
         "Hey-" Before he had a chance to fully respond, she had ducked out of his embrace, and prepared a surprise of her own. ***SPLAT***
         He wiped the snow off of his face, and gave her a mischievous grin. She became nervous under his gaze, and started to take a few steps backwards. ....Too late. Before you knew it, an entire war had broken out. Snowballs were flying everywhere! This way, then that way..over here, then over there. Even the children, who were so engrossed in their game, had stopped to watch this competition.
       & nbsp; "Is that all you've got?! You white-haired...snow boy!" Alexandra shouted at him, as she threw another ball. Ok..so she knew it was lame..but, hey..she was enjoying herself.
         Ryou stopped dead in his tracks. He blinked a few times. "White haired snow boy?"
         Alexandra smiled and sweatdropped. "I can't think when I'm busy doing something else."
         This so called "Snow War" went on for the next hour. Alexandra realized that no one was going to win this, so she decided to take another course of action. She wasn't sure if what she was about to do was right, but she was up for a new challenge. He was still throwing snow at her, but she stealthily dodged each one, until she was face to face with him.
         He was surprised by her sudden appearance, but was shocked him the most is what she had done next. Alexandra leaned up and gently pressed her lips against his. He was a little bewildered at what she was doing, but she had kissed him before, so it wasn't too much of a shock. But something was different. She would have usually pulled back by now, either for need of air, or simply out of nervousness. No, something was definately different.
         I won't lose , she said to herself. She was going to wim this war..whether it meant "cheating" like this or not. Now, in all actuality, she wasn't a cheater. Alexandra would always play the game fair...and to her, this was fair game. She figured that she wasn't going to get anywhere with this, so she decided to kick it up a notch. She pressed her entire form against his, and applied a little more pressure against his lips. She ever so gently nibbled on his bottom lip, silently asking for entrance. And of course, he "unknowingly" (yea right) granted it.
         Ryou's mind was going out of control! Never before had she been this bold, and never had he expected this. What surprised him even more, was that he was responding. He somehow knew exactly what to do. Now he understood. She was still in the game..and she was trying to stun him enough so that she would win. He inwardly smirked at how clever she was. Yes..she was a smart one. But he had other plans, and losing wasn't one of them.His arms had found their way around her waist, pulling her even closer to him.
         Oh...so he wants to play, she thought. She snaked her arms around his neck, and if possible, pulling him any closer than what he was. If you happened to walk by, you would literally understand the meaning of the phrase, "standing on a dime."
         At this point in time, the small gathering of children had long since dispersed. Both Ryou and Alexandra were in desperate need of air, but neither of them was willing to give up. Whether is was the heat of competition, or the sensation of kissing the person they cared most about keeping them from letting go, neither one wanted to give up. But eventually, passion and desire gave way to the human body's need for oxygen. They both pulled away from each other, both out of breath, and both in dire need of a break.
         Alexandra collasped into the snow, smiling. Ryou wasn't too far behind. He lay next to her, just thinking. He had always been waiting for a moment like that...but..but he had never expected something like that to come true. He looked to the side, to see Alexandra looking up at the sky. He smiled. He didn't understand these feelings that he had for her. No one had ever made him feel that way. She brought him so much happiness. But he wanted nothing more than for her to always be happy. That was a first for him. Not that he didn't care about his other friends, it's just, he had always kept his business to himself, and tried not to interfere with their personal lives. But Alexandra...she was different. He wanted ever waking moment of her life to be happy. He never wanted her to be sad, and if she was, he would do anything to change that. He looked on at her, and laughed quietly to himself. She was making snow angels. Beautiful snow creatures that resembled her structure. He looked at her again.
         Her soothing voice interupted his thoughts. "Wanna make angels with me?"
         "No thanks," he smiled at her, and wiggled his way closer to her; even though they were lying down, he managed to get an arm around her shoulders. "I have my angel right here." He kissed her on the cheek, before pulling her slightly closer to him, to where her head was resting on his shoulder. He sighed contently, as he looked to the sky. Is this love?
         Alexandra loved the way her form just fit his. It was as if she was made to lie by his side. To rest her head upon his shoulder, to hold him when he needed comforting, and to sooth him when he was stressed or upset.
         Her train of thought was thrown off when something small, wet, and cold landed on her nose. She looked up.
         "It's snowing," she said. The realization that they were still lying in snow must have finally kicked in, because she started to shiver. And of course, this could never go unnoticed by Ryou. He immediately got up, with her still in his arms.
         "C'mon..it's starting to get cold. Let's go back to my house."
         She nodded. "Okay."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Upon Arrival At Ryou's Household ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

       & nbsp; Ryou quickly fumbled though his huge chain of keys (you all remember the large number of keys he has from a few previous chapters), easliy finding the right two, and opening the door. He led Alexandra in. She stood a few feet from the door, trembling.

         Ryou could only smile. Her cheeks were a rosey color, and the tip of her nose matched.

         "Alex?"

         "Y-y-yes-s-s?"

         He chuckled. "Would you like something hot to drink? Perhaps..hot chocolate?"

         She nodded. "T-t-that s-sounds-s gr-great"

         He smiled and shook his head. He took her coat from her, and hung it up on the coat rack. He led her over to a couch that was conciently placed right before a fire place. To the right of the couch, was a huge window. Outside of the window, was a beautiful sight. They had just beat that nasty storm, but from inside a warm house, it was beautiful. She sat down on the couch, allowing the fire to warm her up. Ryou returned with a blanket draped over his left arm, and a small tray with 2 cups of hot chocolate, skillfully centered in the palm of his right hand. He placed the tray down on a near-by coffee table.

         Alexandra watched him. She never imagined she would be in this deep. A while ago, she had promised herself that she wouldn't fall in love. She quickly blushed at the thought. Wait...I'm not in love! ....Am I?

         Ryou walked over with the blanket and draped it over her shoulders. He came back with the two drinks. After handing one to her, he almost out of instinct took his place next to her.

         And there it was again! That tempting shoulder...Alexandra couldn't resist. She rested her head upon his shoulder for the umpteenth time now, it seems. She smiled. Maybe...Maybe I could love him. He's not like anyone else I've met before. He's...different.. She giggled. He's an oddball. But...he's my oddball.

         They both looked on outside. The snow was falling heavy, but it was such a gorgeous sight, neither of them could tear their eyes away from it. They slowly sipped their hot coacoa, exchanging glances every now and then.

[O the weather outside is frightful,the fire is so delightful.since we've no place to go,it snow, let it snow, let it snow!]

         "Don't you wish...that we could just stop time, Alex? That we could just stop the clock, and stay like this forever? Wouldn't that be great?"

         Alexandra's heart jumped at the thought of being with him forever. She smiled one of her brightest smiles. She looked up at his welcoming face. "That would be great..."

[It doesn't show signs of stopping.I've brought some corn for popping.lights are turned way down low.it snow, let it snow, let it snow!]

         Now, Ryou had known of her past. She left her home, seeking refuge. She had been betrayed. How could someone do that to her? The simple thought infuriated him. Someone as innocent and kind as she..and yet, they threw her away like that. Ryou couldn't stand that thought. He was angered so much by even thinking of that. His hair swooshed around softly, being moved, only by the power he was emitting from the millennium ring. A soft glow shone from the symbolic eye in the center. Tears almost swelled up in his eyes at the thought of what she must of went through. He held her protectively and tightly.

         "I'll never let you go...I'll never leave you. I promise," he whispered to her. She only looked up at him before she was captured into another heated kiss. Only this time, is was on Ryou's call. He held her chin up while his thumb carressed her cheek. He kissed her with all the passion that he could muster. Call it whatever you want, whether you want to say he tongued her, he frenched her; whatever! It was passion, and that's all there is to it.

[When we finally kiss goodnight,I'll hate going out in the storm.if you really hold me tight,the way home, I'll be warm..]

When they had finally broken the kiss, there was nothing else left in their eyes, except for love for each other. This was what they had wanted. This is what they both wanted...someone to hold, but most of all, someone to love them, for them.

         It had gotten late, and they were both tired. However, both were so exhausted from the day's happenings, that neither was willing to move. So, they came to a quick decision. They would just stay like that for a while longer. Simple, ne?

[The fire is slowly dying,my dear, we're still goodbying,as long as you love me so,it snow, let it snow, let it snow!]

         At this point, Ryou had leaned back on the couch, allowing Alexandra to use his chest as a pillow. They sat comfortably together. Ryou held her contently, while she listened to the steady beat of his heart. It calmed her, and somehow, it made her very relaxed. Slowly but surely, she fell asleep in his embrace. He smiled her. He leaned down and kissed her on the cheek one last time before the day ended.

         "I love you...my Alexandra." Then he shortly followed her off to sleep.
