Chapter 3 (Recap)

~*~Scene One Of One: Vampires

 

—Ryou, my friend…I feel sorry for him but one can only do so much…In this world of mine, people can only do as much as they are allowed…not anything they really want to…there is no other way to live…but I have managed, and found my way around the rules.

 

The Yami has been mentioned…though I don't think you know him…he is the ruler of our world…I didn't know what he looked like, nor did any of us at first, no humans are permitted that pleasure, but at this point I know some about him, barley more than an average human unfortunately. I do know that he is a direct descendant of the first vampire, Cain. And when I say direct descendant most might assume that it was a great grandfather or something to that effect, for the meaning of direct descendant would have to have the criteria of a mother or father.

 

But the Yami of today, was a son, one of the five original sons of that first Yami. The one ruling today was in truth the youngest. And though it may seem strange that the youngest son would take up after his father's death, it was not meant to be like that…he was never meant to take the throne as it is said. In reality no one was meant to take it, for vampires are eternal.

 

And though it is against the vampire code, he killed of his own kind. Starting off by his siblings, one, by one, by one. And an ill-fated fact it may be, no one would have guessed it to be him…and vampires, though most don't know it because it is against their code, if they kill another vampire, they gain all their power…but when a vampire kills their kind, their eyes change color from the normal glowing gold…or in rare cases bright blue or a dulled almost white gray, to a haunting crimson like the blood spilled from the brother.

 

Another thing about vampires is every new vampire only gets a fraction of their masters…think about Cain, who was able to resurrect the dead, no one is that powerful now, not even the Yami. Every descended vampire only gets about a third of their strength…which would mean, after the Yami of today, whose name is darkness…killed his four siblings, retrieved their power, giving him two thirds more power than his father, who was his next target…the Yami Cain died, or was put to rest…over eight eras ago…he would now be considered your Nosferatu…though from what I have herd, he is anything but Nosferatu in beauty. (A.N. Nosferatu is the strongest, and oldest vampire today…only he is supposed to be hideous…pig face pointy ear like…ewwww!!! >.< Not right…)

 

Only two Yamis' have had the satisfaction of living through time…which is nothing compared to what you know…But who do you side with, the evil vampires leaders or the enslaved mankind? Vampires were the first life form to inhabit this planet…then came the humans who, how no one knows came to be…then-again how vampires originated is unknown as well…but because humans were, one could say, the underlings, they were put into slavery…because we might be some sort ofmutation. But thatgives no right to the…`normal'…beings to do so…what about all the `blood dolls?' Give thought to that…

 

A `blood doll' is a type of serf…most of which are children of whom are enslaved to a vampire…all they are used for is their blood…they are drunken from day after day…and in time, they acquire vampire-like traits that give them immortality in body I would describe, which means their bodies look the same and they can live countless years only having the vulnerabilities of a human and other things of that sort…being tortured throughout the eternities…have you no sympathy for them?

 

Vampires, lords…all must be directed with `-sama.' In my mind…they are vulnerable… over the times they have figured out their weaknesses…put them in-between two mirrors…they die…no human is supposed to know that…we know not of what a mirror is now because they have outlawed the item…if you are caught near a vampire with water…you are killed…why? Most don't know but the reason is all water is pure…same with things like garlic…pure items…

 

Humans are treated like livestock…even the free ones…if a person gets sick, they are killed out of fear of `contamination.' Even a cold would have you killed…it's not right to me…I am planning a revolt against the Yami even now…my previous attempts have failed but—ahead of myself again…the day isn't over…not until every version has been said…and I haven't even gotten to mine yet…so…let me delay you no longer…
