A Poet's Journal
By: Jaye-R Scarab
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh, so there, beat that you law enforcing life ruiners!!!
I can only watch as I take the backseat,
As you steal my life day after day,
The scars and bruises I hide while they heal,
From those who would care too much,
If they looked in my eyes,
Just if they looked,
They could see the pain,
The pain in my heart and body,
As each scar and bruise dealt to me,
Reflects in the eyes that betray my secret,
Why won't I tell them?
Why do I let you go?
Why do I protect those that hurt me?
Cause the only thing I know,
Is that you're stealing my soul,
You're taking it and shredding it to pieces,
As the innocence that I seem to have slowly fades,
As the crimson stains become fatal,
And my soul lies to everyone,
And my soul waits in the darkness,
For the time to come,
My soul waits in the dark,
In the dark,
In the dark,
In the dark I await the day you fall…
Ryo
Jaye-R: I just had to do Ryo since I knew it would be dark… and I sort of had the first lines in my head while I thought about winch poems I should do… I'm still taking suggestions but they might not just pop up right away (8 more suggestions I got to do), but still I'd love some more suggestions.
