It had been a pretty boring day for two girls in particular from the get go. They were chatting early in the morning over A I M, something which served to not only save them both money on phone calls, but also gave them something to do to get their minds off of their hectic lives. It was unusually hot for the month of October and the girls were in shorts and t-shirts. One of them was on her way to work, while the other was on her way to school. Both dreaded where they were going, but they also knew they must go. So, the girls said their good-byes and signed off for the day.

One of the girls, whom had short brown hair, ran a tan colored hand through it once and picked up her hairbrush from it's place on her dresser. She blinked her sightless brown eyes as she shut down her silver laptop for the day once she was done with her hair. Turning on her cell phone, she packed it in her purse and picked up the grayish colored phone by her bed to call for a cab.

Once this was done, she grabbed her black and silver wheelchair and waited for the cab to arrive to pick her up. She closed her sightless brown eyes a moment as a hot wind blew in her hair, causing parts of her bangs to stick to her face. However, she did not mind this one bit for she had become used to it. She just waited and climbed painfully in the front seat once her cab had arrived.

Once the desktop computer in the dining room of the house was shut down, the girl whom had been sitting at it stretched. Walking over to her living room, she began the task of waking her father so she could have a ride to school. She also made sure that she had all her homework and schoolbooks ready for the day as well. She didn't want to be without her homework, because she wanted to keep her grades up and also she wanted to avoid any possible arguments that might come up for her forgetting it from both her own family and teachers as well. She had enough troubles without them.

Once she was in the van with her dad and they were on their way to her high school, she let out a long sigh. In the time it took for her to reach her school, she made a wish one that would change her life forever and maybe that of her close friend and sister whom she had been talking to that morning.

Far away in another state, the same brown haired, brown-eyed girl walked inside the place where she worked. She was not really happy with the suggestion of getting up this early, but she knew she had no choice in the matter. She preferred to sleep, but she had to live and the fact she would have to work to get the money in order to do those things, won out over all else.

However, she sure wished she stayed home. She sighed and went about her day like a robot, doing her job until the work was complete. That had to be one of her longest days that she had ever done. However, she enjoyed it tons. It meant a large paycheck when she received it next month. However, the unnatural heat for this time of the year was getting to her and she couldn't stop sweating, and felt ill from it.

Around 3 that after noon, both girls were just getting out of where they were for the day, and they thought they were going home. However, by some fate of magic unknown by both girls, their lives were about to change.

They went about the day, getting what they needed to leave their respective places in hopes to catch each other online, but this was not meant to happen.

In a blinding flash of light, they disappeared and the people in their world did not remember those two people ever existed…
