A Strange New Life

 

It was the dead of night. After Kisara's paranormal vision, she was still out walking everywhere to find an apartment to rent. Tired out of walking, she felt like her feet has become a pin cushion with needles. She decided to rest and lean against an oak tree. Her thoughts suddenly went back to that vision she saw. And she wondered to herself, saying, “ Me?! A Weapon of God for peace?” She looked up at the sky. The beautiful stars gave her the hope of seeing an apartment. It's been hours after she left the club and she haven't found one. Suddenly, a perfectly square-shaped piece of board fell-off her face.Her tired and stressed mind suddenly woke up.The board fell on the ground . When she picked it up and saw what was written, it says,

 

APT. FOR RENT AT BONFAIR ST.

Good thing Bonfair street was right across the oak tree she was leaning on. “ Well, eventhough it kinda hurt,…Thanks,Almighty One!”

Kisara hurriedly ran across the street to find the said apartment. Then, she saw a big apartment and on the door, written, FOR RENT. She tried to knock on the door while thinking that maybe no one would open the door for her at this time of night. While scratching her eyes, she saw a familiar lady open the door. “Well, what a small world after all. Come in!” It was Ishizu! Kisara could not believe it. The lady who helped her get a job is the same one who will let her have an apartment! She went in to Ishizu's apartment. Inside, she lookes around the beautiful place. But she wondered and asked, “ Is it expensive here?” Then, Ishizu answered saying, “ No. At the same time, since no one would ever rent here because they thought it was expensive, I just thought of waiting for someone that I can trust to use the vacant room with a nice bed and things.Anyway, it's free. All yours!”

Kisara was so happy that she gave her a nice hug.

It was very tiring and stressful. Kisara didn't expect her day to end like this. “Man, I need some sleep.” When she fell to sleep, she've had a weird dream. She floated above the ocean.She looked up the blue sky, with the sun's radiance and the clouds scattering fast. Suddenly, she felt this heavy object in her hands. It was a golden gigantic sword. Looking back at the scenery, the beautiful skies turned dark and the oceans became a big tidal wave coming towards her. When the said nature was about to attack her, she suddenly woke up. “It's already 9 am!”

Kisara hurriedly went downstairs to say good morning to Ishizu only to find that she was talking to five young men in the living room. Ishizu turned to her and said, “Kisara, I want you to meet Atem, Seto, Marik, my brother, Joey and Bakura.Guys, this is …”

“ I know who she is! She's that girl who bumped at me infront of the bakery!”

“ But I already said I was sorry!”

“ Oh, yeah?!”

“ Atem, she's a nice girl! Can't you just be quiet and be nice?!” Ishizu exclaimed.

All the other guys were okay with Kisara except Atem. Again, Kisara felt the negative energy towards the both of them. “ I need some fresh air. See you later, guys.”

She told Ishizu. “ Well, if that's gonna make you feel better. Have fun!”

As Kisara stepped outside, everyone turned to look at Atem. “What did I do?!”

After complaining, he decided to go out and try to see Kisara. Meanwhile, the young lady on her way saw a pink letter fell from the sky in front of her. She picked it up. Then, it says,

 

“ A LITTLE KID NEEDS YOUR HELP.

THIS WILL BE YOUR FIRST MISSION …”

“ What?!!” She was then perplexed.Turning back, she bumped at Atem again. “ Now, watch it!” He shouted at her ear. “ I'm so sorry!” Then, she ran back home. Atem looked at her curiously until she left . Drawn into a strange new life, Kisara's first mission is about to start.
