A Yu-Gi-Oh Fan fiction

Disclaimer: I… Do not… Own… Yu-Gi-Oh. *cries* Bet you wish I did, tenshi-no-yami. But I do not. So do not bug me about it

Aluna: Hey when does Tea get to talk?

Tea: Aluna I don't really want to be in this fic. She likes Anzu bashing and that's me.

Aluana: The only reason I like Anzu bashing is because you are trying to take Yami from the other people that like him.

Yugi: Like me for instance. He's my yami and I love him.

Yami: Oh Yugi! I didn't know you cared that much. I'm touched.

Aluana: Ya get a room, would ja? Oh and I, as the Authoress, may be popping in during the story. I do have a cameo appearance.

Tea: Ya. As a swan.

Aluna: No actually, I think she is a duck rather than a swan.

Aluana: Hey! Okay! That's the last straw! I'm taking you down! I have had enough of your lame comments about me showing up in my stories!

Yami: Girls! Girls! Calm down!

Yugi: Ya! Like Yami said! I'm going to go ready for the fic, as this conversation is almost a page long as it is.

Joey: *Walks in with Serenity hanging off one arm and her eyes bandaged* Hey! Look who I found lurking on set! My sister! Serenity, this is the Authoress, Aluana.

Aluana: Nice to meet you, Serenity. I hope I can find a place in the fic for you.

Serenity: No need. I need to get back to the hospital any ways. So, see all of you later!

Everyone: Bye Serenity!!!! See you when you get better!

Tristan: Oh my goodness! Look at the length of our conversation! I'll take Serenity back to the hospital while you guys get this fic on the road.

Everyone else: ///_-;;;

Chapter 2: Who is she?

******* ~ At the school ~ *******

Aluna was waiting at the doors of the school for Yugi when she heard a sound behind her. Or thought she heard a sound. She turned around and asked, "Who is there?" No one answered. She then saw Yugi walk out the door and they went walking home together.

Aluna, have you ever fallen in love with someone you don't even know?" Yugi asked after a while.

"Not really. I was almost forced to marry someone I did not even like." She gets a shiver down her spine. "I don't want to repeat that mistake. So I've sworn off of guys until I find the right one."

"How will you know that they are the right one?"

"I just will. It's called woman's intuition. All women have it." Aluna starts to blush like she has a sunburn "Oh my! Look at the time! I have to run now, Yugi! See you at school on Monday!" She runs off in the opposite direction that they were walking.

'I wonder why she ran off? Oh well.' Yugi shrug's ' I guess I will never know what goes on in the mind of a girl.'

******* ~ At the turtle game shop ~ *******

"Grandpa! I'm home!" Yugi called as soon as he walked through the back door of the house that him and his grandfather share.

"Its about time! I was starting to think that some girl had run off with you again." Grandpa said as he walked in from the front.

"Some girl just about walked away with me. You know that girl I mentioned this morning? Well I found out some neat things about her. Like that she had to learn martial arts as a child because she had to protect her necklace that is made of gold. Pure gold. And it has an eye like that box you gave me this morning. Oh and that reminds me. I was meaning to take a look at that thing after school." Yugi ran up to his room and pulled the box out of his closet. "All righty now. To take a look at this thing." He opens the box and sees about 30 puzzle pieces. "Oh my goodness. A puzzle. I like puzzles." Yugi takes a piece out of the box and sets it on the table. "All I need is more time to do this thing in. I will work more on the weekend to get it done."

"Yugi! Supper! And there is someone at the door for you!" Grandpa called up the stairs.

"Coming!" Yugi ran down the stairs two at a time to the door. It was Tea with Aluna in her arms. "Oh my! What happened?"

"She collapsed during ballet class. I was told to bring her home but I don't know where she lives. I know you do because I saw you walking with her near the Kiaba mansion. I knew Kiaba wouldn't help her so I brought her here. She keeps mentioning a necklace of some sort. Do you know what she is babbling about?" Tea asked.

"I don't know. Lets put her in the living room." The small teenager led the way to the living room. "Lay her here. You can go home now Tea. We can look after her." Yugi led Tea to the door and pushed her out. "Just go home, please, Tea."

"Okay, Yugi. I'll leave. See you tomorrow then. Same place as last week?"

"Ya see you there. Don't bring Kiaba or Mokuba." Yugi said to Tea as she left.

"I won't"

Yugi went back into the shop and straight to the living room. "Is she okay, Grandpa?"

"Yes she just fainted. She'll be fine in a few minutes. So stop worrying about her and I will get some food out for her. It looks like we have a dinner guest." Grandpa got up off the couch and went into the kitchen. "I am glad that I made extra's for so you could take something with you to your picnic tomorrow."

"Yes Grandpa. Thank you. I appreciate that very. I will stay here until Aluna wakes up." He hung himself over the back off the couch until Aluna woke up which wasn't a very long time later.

"Uh… Yugi? Where am I?" Aluna tried to sit up but Yugi pushed her back down. Aluna tried to throw Yugi across the room but he managed to tumble onto her. "Yo! Would you mind getting off of me?" Aluna pushed him off of her.

"Would you like something to eat first? Then I can walk you home." Yugi offered. Aluna got a puzzled look on her face.

"Would it be all right if I stayed here tonight? There are some people coming to stay tonight and I don't want to be in their way. So can I?"

"Hang on to that thought until after supper. I hope Grandpa's cooking doesn't offend your taste buds too much." He offers his arm to Aluna. "If you would take my arm and follow me?" Aluna takes his arm and follows.

"What are you serving for supper, Yugi?" she asked.

"I don't know. Just take a seat and eat." Yugi sat down and started eating the food on his plate. "Umm. Yum. Pork. My favorite."

"Fine with me. Just so long as I don't have to eat my moms cooking tonight. Mom's a horrible cook and her food tastes like shit. So you know how I feel about my life now. I do hope that mom isn't cooking tonight. Oh look at me. I started rambling again. I'll stop and just eat now." Aluna digs into her plate like a savage beast. You would think that such a gentle girl could eat so fast. It surprised even Grandpa, and Yugi knew it was really hard to surprise him in this manner.

"Yikes, my dear. Why don't you slow down? You might choke." Grandpa told Aluna.

"Nope. Can't. Must eat to stay healthy." She replied. "My mom believes in having a half-full stomach so I have to catch up on my eating at some point." She burps after she says this. "Excuse me. Sorry `bout that. My manners are bad when I'm away from the house."

"That's okay. We're used to it. Joey's like that all the time. You remember Joey, don't you?" Yugi countered. She nods in remembrance. It was impossible to forget the blonde boy. "Well you should see him eat. He just shoves it all in his mouth. It's funny. Oh and about that question before supper. Grandpa, could Aluna stay the night?"

"Why?"

"Let me answer Yugi. Mr. Muto, My mom has some workmates staying the night and I would just be in the way for my mother's promotion if I'm there. So may I stay? Please?" Aluna told Grandpa what she knew of the people coming over.

"Okay. You may stay here until these people leave your house." Grandpa concluded.

"Wahoo! You can borrow one of my t-shirts…" Yugi trails off from that thought. "Oh. I forgot you have your bag from ballet class. Lets go up to my room and get you settled in." they head upstairs to Yugi's room and open the door. Or try to open it more than the little bit that Yugi can squeeze through. "Okay. You can sleep on the bed, I'll sleep on the floor." Yugi didn't even look at his desk and Aluna noticed the puzzle pieces.

"I knew it! I knew you would be getting the Puzzle at some point in your life. I just couldn't see when."

****** ~* Ashuka house *~ ******

There was a woman sitting in a room that had no windows or lights on at all. The dark. Not a nice place to be when you have family nearby.

"Now where could that girl have gotten to now? She was supposed to be home to cook over an hour ago. She's late. I shouldn't have left her with too much control. Now she thinks she can rule the world. I'm going to teach her not to insult me in this manner." The woman motions to the two people standing near the door. "You two! Come here." The two come over. "I want you to find Aluna for me. She is late for her lessons."

The girl came to her lady's side. "Yes, my lady. We will find her for you. She cannot escape us for long. We will bring her here, to you."

"Fine. Just be quick about it."

"Yes. We will bring her back to you."

****** ~* Yugi' room *~ ******

"YOU WHAT!?!?!?" Yugi exclaimed.

"I knew you would get the Puzzle some time, I was just not sure when." Aluna replied.

"Yes, I heard that. But what is the puzzle you're talking about?"

"That gold jumble on your desk. That's the Millennium Puzzle. It's supposed to hold magical properties. I know you don't really care about that type of thing but the Items, like the Puzzle, are related to the Duel Monsters card game." Aluna pointed to Yugi's desk where the Puzzle was located. "And you need to finish putting it together."

"Umm… Ya I'll do that on Monday after school. Right now lets just get to sleep." With that out of the way, Yugi turns out the lights and falls asleep. Aluna stays up for a little while thinking about what had happened during ballet class that afternoon.

*~*~*~* Ballet class, 3:54, PM*~*~*~*

"Aluna! Get your legs up!" the teacher had been berating me again about my legs. It was annoying the heck out of me so at one point I just called it quits and stopped listening to her. "Aluna! I said get your legs up! That means now!" `Akk!' I fell over. That hurt. I get up. And fall again. I think I twisted my ankle.

"I can't get up! It hurts to much!" I tried to get up again. "OUCH!!!! It hurts!!" I fell against the balance bar I had been leaning on while I had been balancing, trying to keep my legs straight. "May I sit outside?"

"I don't think so, dear. I'm going to call your mother about this." The instructor went to her office while Tea helped me to a bench. Later, after the instructor came out and said that my mother was on her way, I got up and limped out "I'll manage on my own." I limped out the door into the afternoon light. I got about a quarter of the way to Yugi's house when I collapsed. That was the weirdest thing that happened to me. It went all dark and cold. I felt disconnected from the rest of the world. Then I heard it. The voice that changed my life. The voice that convinced me to stay over here ant Yugi's place for the night.

"You won't fell that way forever about boy's, you know. You and Yugi are meant to be together." The voice sounded like me but dryer. It was very disconcerting to me.

"Tell me, how do you know this?" I asked into the darkness.

Because I was in love with the Pharaoh too when I was your age. He was so cute then. But now he is well… young. Too young for me. Oh well. That's for you to decide. By the way, I'm Alyna, the spirit inside your necklace. The god, Ra, sent me to guide you on your journey to your destiny.
