Shade: Yep. I just got back from vacation in the Dominican Republic (went to Punta Cana) and so, here's the second chapter outta 12. Hope you enjoy.
Bakura: You're tired, aren't you?
Shade: *falls forwards onto the keyboard* ZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZzzz...
Bakura: I guess so...
Chapter 2. Conversations Arise...
Bakura sighed and drummed his fingers on his desk in annoyance. His hikari was running around his room looking for something to wear to lunch.
"Ryou!" Bakura called. "It's only going out to LUNCH! What in Ra's name are you looking for?!"
"My sky blue shirt that Jou-koi gave me!!!!!!" Ryou called as he jumped the flight of stairs and landed on his hands and feet at the bottom.
"But we're going to a fast food restaurant, Ryou... What's so special about that shirt?"
"It's got `Don't Run' on it in white... I wanted to wear it because Jou's wearing the jacket I gave him for his 18th birthday..."
Bakura sighed and watched Ryou run downstairs and nearly kill himself on the way up with his shirt on.
"Finally! Let's go!"
~*~*~*~
A few minutes later, Bakura and Ryou walked into Mc Donalds and were `attacked' by about 3 other people.
"Bakura! I missed you so much!" Yugi Motoh, a spiky haired 26 year old, said hugging Bakura. Jounouchi Katsuya, a blonde, had his arms around Ryou's neck. The third individual, Mai Kujaku, was hugging Bakura also.
"H-hey guys, what's up?" Bakura asked prying himself from the death grips.
"Nothing much. Yami's in that `I'm so much holier than you, I deserve everything before you foolish mortals' mood again," Jou said as the two white haired boys were led to the selected table.
"Where's Honda?" Ryou asked noticing that their usual gang was missing a member.
"China, remember? He left right after Bakura-chan did!" Yami Yugi, Yugi's other half, said. Bakura growled at the suffix added to his name, but sat down across from Shizuka Jounouchi, Jou's little sister.
"Yeah, Anzu went with him," Shizuka said sadly. A moment of silence passed before anybody said anything.
"So, what have you been up to all this time, Bakura?" Mai asked.
"Oh, nothing. I published a few books, that's all." This seemingly simple statement drew a grasp from Yami.
"You write?! I thought you were `utterly disgusted that mortals would use their precious time writing books'!" he exclaimed.
"I hate it when you quote me, Porcupine Head," Bakura said using the old nickname that he had given him. Yami scoffed.
"Oh, and I suppose being a Tomb Robber is better?"
"Guys!" Yugi exclaimed. "Stop fighting!"
"Yeah, we did enough of that at Battle City..." Jou mumbled. Bakura blushed furiously. Ryou noticed this right away and grinned impishly.
"Oh, yeah! Wasn't it Kaiba that organized the whole fiasco?" he asked sweetly. Yami grinned, catching on to Ryou's plan.
"I'm sooo sure Kaiba would have loved to win, but I was, once again, victorious," he said. Bakura's blush intensified.
"Yeah, will all that talk about the Egyptian God Card he had, you would think he would have won!" Mai said. Shizuka giggled as Bakura slammed his head onto the table.
"I had Osiris, remember?" Yami said.
"That freaky dragon thing should have been no match for Obelisk since you had, like, two cards in your hand the whole duel," Jou said. They all started giggling helplessly when Bakura made a strangled little sound that sounded alien, coming from the lips of an insane maniac.
"Guys..." Bakura said slowly, lifting his head.
"Yeah?" the others asked, acting totally innocent. Bakura's head hit the table again.
"Shut up..." he mumbled, causing the others to laugh out loud. Bakura sighed; he'd never win with them.

Bakura: Shade is still sleeping but I got hold of her note pad thingy so I'll just read what it says here for July 15th, 2003. *Opens pad thingy* Hmm... Please read and review... That... was short. Well, that's what it says.
Yami: R&R please!!! ^____^\\//
