Jou couldn't accept that he was gay. He couldn't accept that he liked Seto in any way. What would his dad think? His friends? Yugi? And that Seto liked him to. He knew that he liked Seto, felt for him even, but he always denied it. What could he do now that he knew Seto felt the same way? Seto certainly wasn't denying himself that fact. Seto had taken him away to a separate room away from everyone when he told Jou that he loved him. He proceeded then to show Jou his love with near ten minutes of making-out. They eventually had to leave for their next class. Seto made it on time. Jou was late to math. He sat in class, his mind reeling, trying to grasp the fact that Seto loved him the way he always wished he had. Could he ever believe such a perfect surprise?
>I keep asking myself, wondering how
>I keep closing my eyes
>But I can't block you out
>Wanna fly to a place where
>It's just you and me
>Nobody else so we can be free
Seto would not deny that he loved Jou, but tried to in the beginning. He started having dreams first. Each dream would become increasingly more sensual, until he no longer paid attention to the dreams, for Jou was constantly on his mind while he was awake. He started to focus more on Jou, noticing for the first time how many fleeting glances he threw his way. Seto found this quite interesting, and that did not help his predicament any. He found that he could not block him out of his mind, so he decided to embrace the idea instead. If he couldn't beat it, he wouldn't let it beat him. First thing on his list was to tell Jou how he felt. Seto was feeling particularly good that day, and Jou was looking more attractive than usual. Seto took him to a separate room between his classes. He figured that Jou felt the same way from the way he would always watch him. He was right. The moment became very heated, and then it was over. Seto couldn't concentrate at all the rest of the day, and decided that he didn't really care.

"I love you, Jou." He repeated it in his head over and over again, believing the words more and more every time.
>All the things he said
>All the things he said
>Running through my head
"Jou… Jou!" Seto woke from the dream in a cold sweat. "Jou…"

Jou met Seto again outside of school, and the situation inevitably turned to past `events'. Seto pulled him into his limo, and they made-out quite intimately on their way to Seto Kaiba's mansion.
>And I'm all mixed up
>Feeling cornered and rushed
>They say it's my fault but I want him so much
>Wanna fly him away where the sun and the rain
>Come in over my face
>Wash away all the shame
When they got to Seto's house, they went straight to his room and made love for the first time. There was one thing they didn't count on though. Mokuba finding them. Mokuba told everyone, who inevitably told everybody else. The only people who didn't shun them were Anzu and Honda, but even they were against the couple. The only person who supported them was Yugi.
>When they stop and stare - don't worry me
>`Cause I'm feeling for him
>what he's feeling for me
>I can try to pretend, I can try to forget
>But it's driving me mad, going out of my head
Then their parents found out. Seto's mother didn't seem to care much. She felt concern for Seto's happiness.
>Mother looking at me
>Tell me what do you see?
>Yes, I've lost my mind
Jou's dad, however, didn't take it so well. He was drunk, as usual, and he proceeded to give Jou the beating of his life. It had seemed he had crossed the line. Jou wouldn't be lucky today as he usually was. He wouldn't make it to the next day.
>Daddy looking at me
>Will I ever be free?
>Have I crossed the line?
When Seto found out, he was crushed. He felt completely guilty for what had happened. Yugi offered support, but Seto found no comfort in it, or in the dreamless nights he had. Two weeks later, Seto couldn't take it any more. He went into the bathroom and took off his clothes. He turned the water on to a relaxing temperature, and got in.
>All the things he said
>All the things he said
>Running through my head
>All the things he said
>All the things he said
>Running through my head
Mokuba went into the bathroom, concerned from how long he heard the water and how long his brother was taking. He screamed and fainted at the sight. The water was still running, with Seto in it, dead still, razor still in hand.
