Ancient Glory

A/N: I'm so sorry it's been so long y'all! I have been seriously busy lately and I can't seem to get anything done. @_@ So, without further ado, here's chapter six!

Yugi awakened a few hours later, his violet eyes still clouded with sleep. He blinked when his brain finally registered Yami was not in the room. He sighed and stood, stretching his tired muscles. Being fully awake, the teenager made his way to another compartment of the jet. He grinned slyly at Rebecca and his grandfather.

"Hey, where's Yami?"

The blonde girl blinked. "Um, I think he was in the next room with Mai and Shizuka. And Otogi and Honda went somewhere...same with Jonouchi and Seto..."

Solomon frowned. "Like we don't know what's going on with them!"

Yugi smirked softly and Rebecca giggled. "Yeah, I think we know by now."

The elder Mutou shook his head, a small smile playing on his face. Where in the world were kids learning all of these things? In his opinion, they certainly didn't need to know. Well, for at least another ten or so years. Yugi shrugged at his grandfather and headed into the next room. He smiled when he spotted his beloved. He playfully smacked him on the shoulder as he sat down.

"You left me all alone!"

Yami feigned innocence. "Did I really?! Oh forgive me!"

Yugi rolled his eyes, trying to keep from laughing. "Yeah, you're really sorry!"

The Pharaoh sighed. "Yes, I know. You are correct."

Mai and Shizuka stared at the two in amusement. The couple seemed to find it hilarious that the other two were so playful with their relationship; and so open with it as well. The four's amusement ceased though as they heard banging from the other room; as if somebody was being thrown about. Yugi snickered. He knew exactly what was happening in there. That was Seto's room...and Jou was in there with him... Holding his hand over his mouth, the violet-eyed male unsucessfully tried to smother his laughter. Mai raised and eyebrow and stared at the wall. Shizuka just turned bright red and inched towards the blonde female beside her. Yami, on the other hand, showed no emotion. To him, they deserved to do what they wanted, when they wanted, and it was none of their business. Glancing at Yugi, he felt his patience and anger combine, bubbling up inside of him.

"Yugi, let's go."

The other stopped laughing and stared at his darkness. What was his problem?

"What? What'd I do?"

Yami just growled softly and grabbed Yugi's wrist; maybe a little too hard. Yugi let out a small whimper of pain, wincing at the pressure. The pharaoh took no notice and yanked him back to their compartment. Yugi whimpered again as Yami threw him forcefully onto the couch.

The pharaoh gritted his teeth, anger taking over. "You should learn not to mind other people's bussiness."

Yugi stared fearfully at the elder male. "B-but what did I do? Y-Yami...you're...scaring me."

The crimson-eyed Egyptian growled and slapped him-hard. "ENOUGH! Be. Quiet. Now."

The teenager nodded quickly, tears threatening to fall from his shining eyes. A large, red mark was splashed across the side of his face, a minute trail of blood dripping from the left side of his face. He

sobbed softly. Why was Yami treating him like this? What had he done to make his lover so angry?

He curled into the corner of the couch, wanting desperately not to get hit again. Yami's anger began to dissapate; his eyes widening as he took in his hikari's frightened form. He reached out a hand, frowning as his light flinched away from him, tears streaming down his face. He gazed up into his other's crimson eyes.

"W-what did I d-do? I'm s-so sorry...p-p-please don't hurt me..."

Yami held a a finger to his lips. "No, it's okay. I'm the one who should be sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you...I'm not used to seeing others get into somebody else's business. Please, please forgive me."

Yugi held his breath as Yami wrapped his arms around him, slowly letting it out. He relaxed in his lover's arms, letting his crys slowly dissolve. He knew he didn't mean it.

A/N: Aw! Poor Yugi! I promise the next chapter will be a little better! And then, you'll also find out why Yami got so angry; the REAL reason! Please Review!

Yami: *Hugs* It's okay, Aibou! I'd never hurt you!
