Chapter 8

Bakura walked the hallways of the school silently, classes for the day were finished, as if he'd paid any attention at all to them throughout the day anyway. He was in a depressed mood. Ryou wouldn't like him now for sure since he broke the egg more than likely killing Yami. Bakura felt miserable that is until one of the messenger pigeons came flying down the hall with a letter in it's beak. It was a letter from Ryou, one that was absolutely sincere in every aspect. Bakura tore it open in a flurry of movements and read it over. Ryou wasn't mad with him, not at all, he was forgiven and happier than ever before.

Alas, the end of the year long school came to an end, with Bakura fully grown and with all his tests passed, as well as flight certified. He found himself heading home one day, happy as one could be. He was thinner than he'd been in his other life, but, with stronger muscles than most humans would have. He found himself hesitating at the door, before finally ringing the bell and Ryou answering it. Bakura had grown just a hair taller than Ryou but not by much. Yugi and Yami were there, Yami sleeping in Yugi's lap surprisingly sucking on his thumb. "Welcome home Bakura.", Ryou responded, "And happy birthday.",

"It's my birthday? Already?", Bakura asked.

"Uh- huh.", Ryou nodded.

It is safe to say that Ryou and Bakura did have their sexual moments. As it is safe to say that Yami went to school and passed despite his getting around. However, his one true love was Yugi and of course after school Yami remained loyal to only Yugi after that. So, all lived happily ever after and none ever again tried to go back to their own time.

An AU partially. While trying to save Seto from his virtual reality game exploit, Joey Wheeler hasn't been at all well in health. After passing out at school doctors diagnose him with an unknown disease, giving him a rather short amount of time left to live. The true cause is a downloaded manifestation of a computer virus into Joey's central nervous system. Will Seto, Yugi and Yami be able to save him in time, or is it already too late?
