Yuugi was getting everything ready.
"Yami! Did you get the food and games ready?"
"Yes I did. Why are you so fretful today? It's only a party...." Yami replied.
"Oh, just a party? Well, haven't you heard it's Anzu's birthday? Everyone is invited." Yuugi said, running into the living room, to check everything.
"Anzu's birthday?" Yami said, "Oh gosh, what I wouldn't give not to be here. Why do we have to host the party, not her?"
"Because she wanted it here, you know what she said. Is Jounouchi and Ryou back?"walked through the door of the garage, with Ryou and Bakura in tow.
"Hey, where's the food? I'm hungry." Jounouchi said.smiled, and thought,
'Maybe this won't be such a bad party....or it could be...'
"This place is the dumps," Bakura said, "Why don't we just go kill Apricot and get it over with?"came in, and shot a disapproving look at Ryou.
"I thought you said you'd clean up his language."
"Well, ya see...I tried..."
"And we started doing some other fun stuff, with leather and..." Bakura started, but shut up when Ryou put his hand over his mouth.was a pale pink, and Yami had to hide a laugh. Jounouchi noticed the blush, and wished for someone to do that to him.
"Well, do you have Mai with you, Jou? Or is she coming by herself?" Yuugi asked.
"She's coming by herself. Why?" Jounouchi asked.
"Because everyone knows that she likes you. Are you that oblivious? Gawd I swear, you are as dumb as you look." Bakura said.started to swear.
"Bakura...." Ryou said, hoping to sound threatening.
"Ready for bed already? Okay let's go!" Bakura said, smiling evily.smacked Bakura, who pretended to be hurt. There was a knock at the door.
"It's Mai." Jounouchi said.looked at him.
"How would you know?" Bakura asked.
"Shut up! She's just a good friend. We aren't going out or anything! Why do you have to be such an ass sometimes, huh Bakura?" Jounouchi asked.
"If I'm an ass, that's a good thing, cuz you're way stupider than me." Bakura said.lunged at Bakura, and they started fighting. Yuugi left the scene to answer the door. To his surprise, it was Seto Kaiba and Mokuba. Mokuba had a gift in his hand. Mai was standing right behind Seto, looking annoyed.
"Finally," She said, marching past Yuugi, "You have no idea what I had to go through with this egotist. Is Anzu here yet?"
"No. She hasn't arrived. I thought you didn't want to come, Kaiba..." Yuugi said, sounding surprised.
"Well, Mokuba here dragged me into it." Seto said, blushing a bit.
"Uh, okay then. Are you going to stand there, or are you coming in?"and Mokuba marched past Yuugi, and Yuugi shut the door. Jounouchi and Bakura were sitting there, Honda, who arrived through the back door, was holding Jounouchi back, and Ryou was holding Bakura back. Both were struggling to get through their barriers.
"Lemme go! I'm gonna kick his sorry ass!" Jounouchi yelled.
"Shut up, Dog. I'm trying to get rid of my headache." Kaiba said.looked up at the voice and his eyes narrowed.
"I thought he wasn't coming, Yuugi."
"Well, he said he wasn't. He told me that his brother dragged him into it, so don't look at me. Look at Mokuba." Yuugi said.
"Mokuba? Where is he? I didn't see him come in here." Yami said, looking around.
"He had to go. I mean, to....the.....yeah...I think you get it." Kaiba said.
"I guess we do. Now, can we kill him too and get it over with? I'm starting not to like this party idea anymore. I thought you said there was going to be some fighting, and blood and gore. You lie!" Bakura said.
"Well, I did have to get you out here didn't I? So I had to lie....sorry about it." Ryou said.
"That's okay. As long as we get into bed tonight..." Bakura said.blushed a pale pink. Bakura started laughing.
"Okay you guys, we all gotta hide. I really didn't tell Anzu this was her party. Pick a place." Yuugi said.everyone grumbling, they found places. Yami went behind the couch with Jounouchi, Yuugi behind the door, Ryou and Bakura in the closet, Kaiba and Mokuba in another closet, Honda and Mai in the hallway. The doorbell rang.
"The door's open!" Yuugi yelled.door opened, and Anzu walked in. Everyone except Bakura jumped out and yelled,
"Surprise!"fell over, from shock. Bakura walked out of the closet, and went into the kitchen.
"I'm hungry! Since she's here, let's get some food!"picked Anzu up, and put her on the couch, and she woke up.
"It was a surprise party for me? I'm flattered that you all came." She said.
'That any of us came.' Mai thought.
"Are you hungry? We got some food made for this party." Yuugi said.blushed. Yami and Jounouchi looked at each other, and had to keep from laughing. Anzu got off the couch and walked into the kitchen. Bakura was already eating some cookies.
"Who made these cookies?" He asked.
"Yuugi did. Why?" Jounouchi asked.
"These taste terrible. What are they? Sugar or chocolate...cuz it tastes like a little of both." He said, spitting it out.
"Well they are sugar cookies. Not chocolate. Where are your taste buds?" Yuugi asked, and bit into a cookie.soon spit it out.
"Okay, maybe I did a little mistake. But Yami made everything else."
"Good, cuz I'll eat Yami's food, but I won't eat yours. What did he make...? Oh gawd, is that what I think it is?" Bakura asked, diving into the candy.
"Did you make that Yami?" Anzu asked.
"Yeah. Homemade recipy. It's white chocolate and brown chocolate. Some of them have cherries in it, and others have other surprises." Yami said, boasting.all dined on candy, salad, pizza and soda. Afterwards, they started playing games.
"What shall we play?" Kaiba asked.
"How about...hide and seek?" Anzu asked.
"Uh, okay, but why don't we pair up, and Anzu is it! I get....." Yuugi said.
"Let Kaiba go with you. Only you can stand him." Yami said.it was Yuugi and Kaiba, Yami and Jounouchi, Honda and Mai, Ryou and Bakura. Mokuba didn't want to play. Anzu went to count.
"Where shall we hide?" Yami asked Jounouchi.
