Are We Alike?

Who are you? How come I can't see you? Where are you? I'm so lost. All I see is darkness. Where is my light? Is it meant to be? Am I meant to be in darkness? I was so happy with the light. I loved the bright innocence that shown through, the beauty that never fades and the heart that loves all. I was in the happiness. Why was I taken away from it? Why am I so unhappy?

Isn't light and dark the same? They are both opposites are they not? How come I do not deserve the love that my light shines towards me? Who has taken me from my beloved? Why is life so cruel? Am I meant for unhappiness? Why am I here?

Why is it so cold and lonely here?

He sat alone in the nearby Café. He was waiting for someone, someone he knew. He had been waiting for hours. It seemed that he would not come. Wait, there he is. What took him so long? Oh…….he had something to do. That was fine with him. He had something to do. He could deal with that. As long as he was here, he was fine. This reminded him of something. Oh yes, when they were little. He would always force the other to play puzzles and riddles, and the other would always follow quietly like a girl was pulling a boy that liked her. Oh well, let's get back to HIM. He always helped him, when he was in a tough situation. That was why they loved each other. It was only common sense.
