Summary:Jou has a cold, so Kaiba goes to visit him, and gets more than he wanted.

Chapter Summary: its 4 days before, the bash, and getting ready

27thOctober:4 days before the Halloween Bash; Kaiba's Study

Kaiba was typing furiously, on his laptop trying to finish his paper work, in order to type up the invitations, 'great! I have to do all these myself, because of those incompetent bastards of employees, why do I even hire them if their not gonna do anything but flirt with me, even some of the guys!' he thought exasperated. 'At least I have my puppy' he thought smiling. He now had the urge to work faster, with every passing moment of his time.

1:00am:Kaiba's Study

Kaiba was now finished with the paper work he was working on earlier, he stretched a little bit, he yawned 'I'm tired, and I need some food, maybe a late night snack' he though tiredly, yawning once more. Before walking down the halls, to the kitchen, he opened the refrigerator; he grabbed a bottle of apple juice and leftover Chinese LoMein. He ate while going to his study, and someone or rather something, whizzed by him through the windows, he glanced around, looking for the thing or person, he found no one, shrugged and went back to his study to finish up the cards, and his food.

1:45am:Kaiba's Study

He had finished the cards, and printed the cards, and e-mailed some of the other to his allies, close company workers, and un-retarded and actually working employees. He was really tired, that he was about to fall on his desk, he managed to get to his room, yawning all the way through, he climbed into the blue silk sheets, without changing into his jammies, curled like a ball and slept of to Wonderland.

28thof October, Morning: school

Kaiba woke up to see 2 big onyx eyes, looking back at him. He groaned and rolled the other side, knocking Mokuba of him, and throwing him on the other side of the big king size bed. Mokie giggled and Kaiba moaned “five more minutes, Mokie, I'm freaking tired okay?” Mokuba rolled his eyes “language seto!” “whatever”. Mokuba suddenly got an evil idea, he went downstairs, got a bucket of cold water, with extra ice, trudged upstairs, with an evil smirk on his face, and poured it right on Seto's back, tingling his spine. Seto turned his face, agitated to wake up in such a state, he yelled “MOKUBA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get your scrawny ass, down here, NOW!!!!! or else!” he chased him down the hallways, and up the east & west wings of the mansion, he got tired solemnly and dejectedly he went to take a nice warm shower, WITHOUT any distractions!

25 mins Later:Kaiba's Kitchen

After his shower, he went downstairs to eat breakfast, being a cold-hearted business man doesn't mean, ya don't have ta eat breakfast ya know. Anyway, he trudged to the massive kitchen to see Mokuba already about to finish his breakfast, Kaiba glared at him a little, Mokuba, didn't even look up but said “Seto, when glaring at someone it's kinda hard, for that person to eat” Seto growled “mokuba it wasn't very nice of you to wake me up like that, and don't ever do it again, got me!” Mokuba nodded. “good!”, Kaiba ate his breakfast, Coco puffs with orange juice and toast, while reading his newspaper.

7:00am:Entrance of the Kaiba mansion

The Limo drawled up to the entrance of the Kaiba mansion, “Mokuba! Come on, or you're going to be late for school!” “alright, all ready I'm coming, besides why do I have to go to school now, it starts around 8:45, I don't have to got for another hour and a half, besides I'm in the middle of a game” Kaiba sighed “I suppose your right, but make sure you get there early as said” Mokuba grinned at his brother “alright!seto!” he hugged his brother goodbye, and sped of to play the rest of his video game. Kaiba entered his limo elegantly, and gracefully, careful not to bump his head on the side door, he commanded in a cold voice “school”. “Yes Mr. Kaiba” he ignores him, and relaxed at the back seat.

7:30am: school

He went to his first period class, to see it already opened 'seems like someone came before me today' he glance inside to see who it was, and was shocked to the core! It was none other than Jou, in first person in class, that's really early! (A/N: wow! Never knew he would even consider waking up early! What a world record). He sighed at least it was his boyfriend, not another geek in the school. “Hey Jou, how ya doing?” he turned around, laptop on the desk “oh hey seto!. was just talking to my sis, she's coming over for a whole week” Seto nodded, and hugged Jou, who hugged back. “I have the invitations, I didn't even know I had these, I guess one of the maids, put it in there or something” he shrugged. The card was designed with black and gold, suggesting it was a semi-formal party, but with costumes. It says “You are cordially invited to Kaiba's annual Halloween bash! You are expected to wear, a Halloween costume, mask or any other form of weapons are not allowed! They will be security, expecting to search the premises, before, during and after the party, thank you for coming” with bold Italic Cursive letters, writing on the card. “Wow, that's really strict but then again this is the first time you're actually throwing a party, ya gotta make it a little bit more fun, so ppl will actually come”. Kaiba pouted. “Whatever, it's my party, my rules!” “Whatever, ya gotta send my sis an invitation via e-mail” kaiba nodded. He went to his seat, opened his laptop, and got to business.

7:45: Bio class

People were piling in, by 7:45, a minute before the bell rings, Kaiba groaned as, the geek squad, entered the class. 'I have a feeling this going to be a long day'.

The day went by surprisingly fast for Jou and the gang. “jou! Your back! Are you okay? Now” yugi asked, sadly. Jou grinned “I'm okay buddy”. The teacher strolled in before the gang could say another word, and they each scrambled to their respective seats. “Class, today remember is the baby project of the year” the class groaned. “I already selected the groups-” some more groaning “they are, Jou&Micheal, Kaiba&Michelle, Yugi&Bandith Keith, Bakura&Marik,Ryou&Yami, Malik&Ishizu, Tristan&Duke, Mai&Brandon, Anzu&jonathan” the list goes on. Jou trudged over to his partner,'why oh why did it have to be him?!?' he didn't like that kid, he was really geeky, and always flirting with him. He shuddered. The guy was giving him a seductive smile, while he thought it was seductive smile,jou just though it was creepy. ,

Kaiba got an over hyper girl, that was always squealing and having nosebleeds, when she blushes, considering she was a part of kaiba fan club. She waved at him and battered her eyelashes 'I wish I got my puppy, that could be so much easier' he thought disappointedly. They had to get a plastic baby, and treat it how a normal baby would; there was a chip that states the status of the baby while in the care of its owner. Unknowingly, across the room somebody was having an evil streak (A/N: I'm rushing to get to the good part).

END OF SCHOOL:Parking Lot

Mai ran to the parking lot, to catch up with jou. Only to see the horror of her dreams, making out with the boy he fantasized everyday. She backed up and ran.

Jou and Kaiba broke up the make-out session, “see you tonight, your still coming over to see Serene Right?” “Right, goodbye, my love” the hugged each other, Kaiba pecked Jou on the lips one last time, and they parted. Going their separate ways.

Jou's Home:

When he got home, he greeted Kate, “hi Kate”. “how was your day?” “it was okay I guess, seto printed out the cards, I still have to give them out, I still haven't told my friends about Seto, it's harder than I thought, I was this close to blurting it out at lunch today, but held back” Kate chuckled. “it's okay, you'll tell them or rather they find out for themselves, it doesn't really make a difference, either way they'll find out, they'll either accept it or not” she said matter-of-factly. Jou nodded. “I'll go to my room know, so I could finish up my homework” she nodded.
