- Ok. Attack you with Zombyra, then Panther Warrior, sacrificing Zombyra to do so. (AS: 0000) I win, therefore I'll claim your Ring of Destruction AND your locator card.
- WHAT? You f…No way!
- Battle City rules: "The loser of a duel must forfeit his rarest card and 1 locator card to the winner."
- You…
- Dem's the breaks, kid. It was a good Duel.
- All right, then. Here. Take good care of that card for me.
- Huh?
- I'll be back for it, after Battle City.
- Okay. Seeya then.
- Seeya." As he walked away, he put his new card in his deck, and chuckled, as he saw his next opponent, a kid with an Ultra-Rare Royal Command Trap Card, and TWO locator cards. He intended to win them both…
- "Listen, thanks for stickin' up for me back there, Yug.
- No problem, Joey. That's what friends are for.
- That was pretty cool, though how you beat 'im with that trap card, Chain Destruction. That was seriously cool.
- Thanks.
- Hey," asked Joey and Yugi's friend Tea, "Where's Tristan?" They heard a commotion, suddenly:
- "How dare you cal me a coward you little shrimp!" Tristan, a brown-haired kid wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black jacket, was speaking to a guy roughly a foot taller than him, who'd apparently challenged him to a Duel, and Tristan had refused. "I swear I'm gonna pound you into nothing, you little…" when picking a fight, Tristan Taylor could be easily seen…and heard. Like Joey, he was a tough kid, known to act rashly, and sometimes jump way to quickly into a fight.
- "Come on, Tristan, let's go, before you get yourself beaten to a bloody pulp.
- Lemme go!
- No way."
- "I could take'im." He was still arguing, hours later. The four of them were enjoying a fairly quiet afternoon, not a Duel in sight. Suddenly, they bumped into someone. Tristan tried picking a fight with the intruder, which got him clocked in the jaw. Then Tristan jumped in, only to find himself on the business end of a steel-toed black boot. The newcomer, who'd received a couple of punches himself, and had a cut lip, chuckled. He was tall, thin, and pale. He had brown hair and brown eyes. He wore blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and a black and gray vest.
- "Hey guys." He said as he recognized first Yugi, then Joey.
The youth, who looked about sixteen or seventeen, introduced himself as Will Pearson, and said he was also competing in Battle City.
DISCLAIMER: Kazuki Takahashi owns YGO, and he is probably plenty rich enough to sue the crap outta me.
AN: I'm using my YGO: Worldwide Edition deck: Riryoku is a Magic card allowing you to take ½ the ATK of any monster on the field, and add it to another monster. (Not to be confused with the Trap card Riryoku Field.)
