Chapter 4

Summary: Seto takes Mokuba back to his mansion. He finds Mokuba’s medication, and contacts his Doctor to see what he says. He also contacts Mokuba’s parents. Seto begins to feel things that he has never felt before. Mokuba begins to open up some from his sort of shell he has built about caring for people.

Starts in Guest Room in Kaiba Mansion *************************************************************************** *********************
“Take us back to the mansion immediately.” Seto still holds Mokuba in his arms on the drive to the mansion. *************************************************************************** *********************
The driver quickly gets out of the car, and opens the door for Seto to get out, because he is still holding Mokuba. Seto carries Mokuba into the mansion, and up to one of the guest rooms in the mansion. Seto gently lays Mokuba onto the bed. He stares at him for a moment, not sure what to do, //maybe…he may be more comfortable…if I took off his shoes and….shirt.// Seto slowly begins to take off Mokuba’s shoes, and puts them on the floor. Seto then sits Mokuba up some so that he has able to remove his jacket. When Seto goes to put his jacket on a nearby chair, two bottles of medication fall out of the pockets. He doesn’t notice them right away, since he is still trying to help Mokuba. He goes to remove his shirt, when he feels the scars all over his back. Seto’s eyes widen somewhat, but quickly removes Mokuba’s shirt and lays him back down on the bed. He covers Mokuba with the down cover on the bed, then goes to leave the room, when he finds the two bottles of medication on the floor. He picks them up and reads the labels, they are medication for depression and sleep medication. His eyes widen some, he continues looking over the bottles’ labels, and he finds what he is looking for, the number for Mokuba’s doctor. He picks up one of the phones in the hallway, dialing the number, the phone rings, then Seto hears someone pick up on the other line,
{Hello, this is Dr. Kristopher’s office.}
[Hello, this is Seto Kaiba, I need to speak with the doctor immediately In concern for one of his patients.]
{Hold for one minute please,}
[Alright, do not keep me waiting long…] The secretary places Seto on hold while she runs to get the doctor.
{Hello, this is Dr. Kristopher, how may I help you Mr. Kaiba.}
[I found Mokuba Ravena in an alley earlier today, and it appeared that He was about to be raped. When I brought him to my home, to bottles Medication fell out of his jacket pocket. Please tell me what I need to Do.] Dr. Kristopher’s eyes widen, and his hand grips tighter on the phone,
{Mr. Kaiba, listen to me carefully, do exactly what I say. Though I will Not tell you myself why this affects him more then it would others, but This is what you must do: keep him as comfortable as possible. Do not Leave him alone. [Alright Dr. Kristopher, thank you, I will contact you in the morning With any news.]
{Good day Mr. Kaiba.}
[Good day Dr. Kristopher] Both men hang up their phones. Seto places the medication bottles back into his pockets. He slowly goes back into the room where he put Mokuba. Mokuba had woken up, and is sitting up some against the headboard. Seto’s eyes rake over his body, but then quickly averts them,
“Are you alright kid?” startled, Mokuba looks over at Seto
“Y-yes, thank you. I’m, I’m Mokuba Ravena, do you remember, you nearly hit me this morning, and I ran into you yesterday.”
“Yes, I remember, I just did not remember your name.”
“Oh…thank you. Thank you for saving me from him Seto…” He glances down at the bed, not even caring that he is topless right now.
“You should lye back down, and get more rest, I will contact your parents and let them know where you are.” Mokuba’s eyes widen,
“P-Please don’t tell them what happened to me Seto! Please!”
“Don’t worry, I am only letting them know where you are staying that is all, I will not tell them what happened.”
“Thank you Seto. Thanks a lot.” Seto shrugs some, then walks out to contact Mokuba’s parents. Mokuba lays back down on the bed, and is instantly back to sleep. Seto picks up the phone and dials Mokuba’s home number, having found out from the doctor.
{Ravena residence}
[Hello Mrs. Ravena. This is Seto Kaiba, I am calling to let you know that Mokuba is staying the night at my home. Good day to you Mrs. Ravena] Seto quickly hangs up the phone before she got a chance to ask him any questions. Fortunately enough, Seto’s home phone number can not be found in the phone book, and very few people know the number. Seto glances back into the room, seeing Mokuba’s sleeping form on top of all the covers. Seto gently picks him up, and lays him under the covers of the bed, he strongly resists the urge to kiss the sleeping angel. He leaves the room for a moment, grabbing some blankets and a pillow from his own bedroom, and lays down on the day bed in the guestroom, and slowly falls asleep to Mokuba’s soft, even breaths of sleep. Both of their dreams that night are laced with the other’s image. Also this night, was the first night neither of them had nightmares of what happened to them, be it rape or harsh abuse.
