Atemu gasped as he saw Bakura getting beaten by his father's royal servants. “Why are you doing this,” Atemu screamed at the Pharaoh. “How dare you raise your voice to me, come here now,” Atemu's father yelled to his son. “Don't do anything you'll regret ,” Atemu's mother pleaded with her husband who completely ignored her.

 

“When my counsel told me that my son had been taken by this piece of S%^&, I was upset as I had thought that it happened against your will. “But then I found out that you consented to it, and I became furious.” “But why,” Atemu asked not looking the Pharaoh in the eyes. "Why… because no son of mine will have anything to do with the son of a Tombrobber who's worthless,” Atemu's father yelled back as he grabbed Bakura by the hair. “Stop it, you don't know anything about Bakura he's nothing like his father,” Atemu screamed tears falling down his cheeks. “Why are you being so protective of him,” the Pharaoh asked an evil smirk forming across his lips. “I love him that's why,” Atemu said as he ran towards Bakura only to be stopped by the royal guards. The Pharaoh then let go of Bakura pushing him as he did so. “I think you've been punished enough, you will be witness to Atemu's punishment that you caused,” The Pharaoh told Bakura who silently cried as he was ordered to follow Atemu and the Pharaoh into a room.

 

“You want to socialize with the likes of him, then you shall be treated as such,” Atemu's father said as he began to whip is son, not caring as Atemu's soft tender flesh started to bruise and bleed. Bakura just watched in horror at what was happening to his Chibi Ichi. **Ra make it stop, please Ra** Bakura thought as Atemu screamed in agony. Finally the whippings stopped to the relief of Bakura who desperately wanted to throw up. Pleased with what he had done, the Pharaoh turned to Bakura and said. “Didn't you ever wonder why after you took so long to prepare him, that it seemed like he wasn't prepared at all,” The Pharaoh said with an evil look in his eye. “It is because Atemu was never to be taken by anyone other than that of royal blood, so in order to insure that, I had my Royal Magicians cast a spell on my son, so that no matter how hard someone tried ,who wasn't royal blood would not be able to prepare him.” “But even though he was in intense pain he let you take him, something I did not expect my weak son to do.” “How could you do that to your own son,” Bakura screamed not caring anymore what could become of him. Smirking the Pharaoh turned towards Bakura and said Atemu is no ordinary boy, his greatest strength his pure of heart will be his greatest weakness. “What do you mean,” Bakura asked? “It means Atemu will never forgive himself for letting this happen, he will turn against his very self, and with that said he walked out the door.

 

**Ra no wonder it hurt Atemu so much** Bakura thought as he slowly made his way to Atemu. “Atemu I'm so sorry,” Bakura cried as he saw Atemu's back and backside covered in blood. “Just go,” Atemu cried shocking Bakura. “But let me help you Atemu,” Bakura said as he reached to soothe his Chibi Ichi. “Please just leave I don't want you here,” Atemu screamed. “Okay I will go but I won't be far from your side Atemu,” Bakura said as he stood outside of the door hearing his Chibi Ichi cry…

“Ryou are you okay,” Bakura asked his light who was clutching him tightly. “Ra it was so awful,” Ryou said his eyes filled with tears. “We have to get Yugi to stop this,” Ryou screamed. “Tenshi, Yugi is doing this because he is suppose to, didn't you get anything it won't stop unless the spell is broken. /What do you mean?/ //Yami and Yugi complete each other Tenshi, as do you and I// /Yes I understand that Bakura/ //But do you understand that Atemu is Yami and Yugi they are all one and the same// Ryou's eyes lit up when realization took over, he already knew that but to him it didn't seem important until now…
