Serenity tossed her hair over her shoulder and looked out the window. She'd never been in a plane this long and was starting to get bored.

"Attention, passengers. We will be landing in Domino Airport in twenty minutes," the pilot called over the intercom.

Serenity grinned and pulled her wallet out of her carryon. She flipped it open and looked at a picture that her brother had e-mailed to her. It was a picture of Joey and his "friend" Seto Kaiba.

It was all thanks to Seto and his brother that she was even on this plane. After her operation, they had so generously agreed to buy her a ticket to Japan so she could see her brother and meet his friends.

Before the operation, her eyesight had gotten so bad as to have seemed like she was underwater. Now it was as if she looked at the world through binoculars.

She was so proud of her big brother, was glad to be able to see him again. Heck, she was glad to be able to see at all.

She sat back in the chair and smiled when she felt the plane start to descend. She looked out the window again and watched the scenery as she descended into Japan.

The girl beside her looked at her and smiled.

"This your first time in Japan, hun?" she asked.

Serenity nodded. "Yes. I'm coming to see my brother. We haven't seen each other since our parents divorced."

The girl spotted the picture and gasped, grabbing it from Serenity. Pointing to Joey, she asked, "Is this your brother?"

Serenity was startled by the girl's surprise. "Y-yes, he is. Why?"

The girl didn't answer. "Oh. My. God. You're Joey's little sister. Serenity, right?"

Serenity was even more startled by this. "Yes...and you are...?"

"Mai Valentine. I go to your brother's school and we met at the Duelist Kingdom." Mai shook Serenity's hand just as the plane landed.

"So, what's your story, Mai?" Serenity asked as she picked up her bag and put it in her lap.

"Ah, I don't have much of a story. After her brother's friend Yugi beat me in a duel, I've been traveling the world beating top duelists. It's not much. It wouldn't impress your brother."

Serenity grinned. "Oh, so you're trying to impress Joey? Ooh, do tell why, Mai."

"That, dear girl, is none of your business." As the plane came to a stop, Mai and Serenity got up and walked off the plane. Serenity looked around the waiting room until she spotted her brother.

She ran up to him and threw her arms around him. Returning the hug, he said, "Serenity...I'm so glad you could come."

Serenity was so excited. "Me too, Joey! And you won't believe who I met on the plane!"

"Hello, Joseph." Joey looked up and pulled his arms away from Serenity.

"Mai."

Serenity turned toward the small group waiting behind Joey. "Come on, Joe. Introduce me to your friends."

"Okay, okay. And don't call me Joe."

Serenity noticed one of them was staring at her with his mouth open and a boy who looked just like him snickering at him.

"Him first," she said, pointing to the one with his mouth open.

Joey looked at him, and blinked. "Yami? Uh, Yam-man? You got a problem? Ah, forget it. This. Is. Serenity. She's. My. Sister. And she probably doesn't appreciate you staring at her like she's got two heads."

Serenity grinned. "Actually, I don't really mind. Now I'm doubly glad I can see again. He's HOT."

The one named Yami fainted right then, either from sheer joy or embarrassment. This set all the others cracking up.

Serenity spun around once, clapped her hands, and said, "Ooh, I LOVE doing this, I am evil!"

"Serenity, you little flirt.....that was amazing. No one's been able to make Yami blush, let alone faint. I applaud you, little sister." Joey clapped for her and she gave him a curtsy.

Joey introduced everyone else to her, and then they headed toward the Turtle Game Shop, owned by Yami's grandfather, Yugi carrying Yami over his shoulder.

Serenity introduced herself to Yugi's grandfather, while wondering where she was going to stay the night.

When she voiced her problem, Yugi suggested she stay in their guest bedroom. Yami, who was just waking up, turned entirely red from head to toe. He normally slept in the guest bedroom.

"B-b-b-b-but Yugi! Where will I sleep?"
