Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Blood Tears ❯ Chapter one ( Chapter 1 )
Hey, y'all!! I'm back finally! It's a miracle, Ma, I'm well!!!
Okay, I decided to finally put up something that I've had stuffed away in my binder for three years. I was thinking of turning it into an actual piece of original fiction to send to a publisher, but I want to know what people think before I do that. If I get a good response, I'll take it off the net, and change character names. Until then, though, you all have the privilege to read it as it originally was.

Marie was wandering the halls of Domino High. She had been here for less than a week, and she already knew the school like the back of her hand. She had told her teachers that she had a knack for things such as that, for if her real purpose was found out, she would be deemed insane.
You see, Marie was a demon hunter. She had been tracing a large and powerful group of vampyres for a long time now, and had found out that at least one leader resided here in Domino City. She had been trying to find him; for it was rarely that a Clan Leader was female, but couldn't come up with any trace clues or leads. She would do anything to bring them to justice, that much she knew.
She had felt vampyric energy the moment she had walked in the door of this school, but she had not pinpointed it yet. The source was unbelievably tricky; to have evaded her for this long was an unknown feat. It frustrated her to no end that she hadn't gotten any further than her rival.
She looked up into the sunny skies above and muttered, to no one in particular, "It's going to rain tonight…"
`He'll strike tonight, and use the rain as his cover. And that's only if he doesn't have a harem of people just begging for him to drink from them.' Troubled thoughts ran through her head as she shuddered in disgust. There were still some people who believed that once you were bit by a vampyre, you became one yourself. Her planning and plotting was brought to an end by the presence of two more vampyres, at least.
`Damn! There are more than I expected.' She tried to pinpoint their location, but they were gone almost as soon as she had sensed them. `What the hell was that?'
She glanced around the schoolyard one last time, and took note of the cliques. There were all of your typical groups, the jocks, preps, geeks, and outcasts, as well as a few loners spread around the area. Then you came to Yugi Moutoh and Co. You could hardly place them in a singular group, so they had become one unto themselves. The only one left was Seto Kaiba. He wasn't exactly a loner, but you couldn't make him fit into another group. He was simply… him. Nothing more, nothing less.
She turned away, and walked to her car. Flipping her school bag into the back, she climbed into the front, and gunned the engine. She was out of there, and on her way to her apartment lees than ten seconds later.
