BRING ME BACK TO LIFE. CHAPTER 3: DISCOVERIES

Kuribo-kun: Hey peoples! We're really sorry and we promise we'll updated more often now, but it's just that

we've had so much schoolwork to do and that Violet Eyes is-

Violet Eyes: Hey! Don't pin the blame on the dragon, I'm only trying to help here, and we've sorta been

having a long spell of writer's block!

Jounouchi: AH! OH NO!

Seto: *reading book*

Yugi: I bought these lollipops for 50 cents.

Yami: I like strawberries

Honda: *dazed* where am I?

Violet Eyes: Will you at least be more sympathetic?

Anzu: Hi! Wanna be my friend?

Everyone: AHHHHHHH! *hides behind couch*

Seto: Don't you have a Millenium Scepter?

Violet Eyes: The batteries ran out...

Everyone: XoX

Kuribo-kun: I know, I'll ward her off with this! *pulls out garlic*

Yami: I thought they only worked on vampires.

Kuribo-kun: OK, then what about this! *pulls out big pink teddy bear*

Violet Eyes: *rolls eyes* no Kuri-kun, you need this *pulls out Godric Gryffindor's sword and tries to lift it*

damn, its too heavy!

Honda: Ok, this may take a while, we don't own anything, alright?

The rest of that day went by a quickly as possible, and when the end-of-school bell rung, they all headed

for BurgerWorld and ate at least 2 servings of Quadruple cheessburgers each, before heading to Artbox and

replenishing their diminishing stationary, and they all bought friendship rings, Honda's was an army green

gemstone carved like the Cyber Commander, Ryou's was a half topaz half light purple amenthyst shaped like

a heart, Anzu's [Violet Eyes: Do I really need to do this? Kuribo-kun: Yup.] was a pink diamond Magician of

Faith, Yugi's was a dark amenthyst Dark Magician, Jounouchi's was a ruby Flame Swordsman and Jennifer's

was an opal creation of the Mystical Elf, before heading home.

The following day, Yugi arrived at school to see all of his friends depressed, sad, and in mourning.

Particularly Jounouchi, who was very quiet and seemed distant.

"Hey guys, something wrong?"

Anzu was the first to speak. "Today is the exact day when Yugi passed away, so the school's organised a

field trip to the Industrial Illusions Factory and to-to ," she broke down in tears, "to Y-Yugi's grave."

"Oh dear, I didn't know, I'm so sorry," said Yugi, and he and the rest of them followed Jennifer to the

school basketball courts for rollcall, and assembled in pairs to board the bus.

The ride was gloomy and even though Yugi had never ever heard of Industrial Illusions, he still was quite

excited, and as the bus pulled up against the front of the main foyed entrance, Jounouchi became very

irritated and started muttering low string of insults to a man named 'Pegasus J. Crawford.' They left the bus

and walked inside, where there was a tour guide waiting for them.

"Hello," she said cheerily, "my name's Oshiba Jyuzuma and I'll be your tour guide today."

The whole class of 10J2 followed dismally, and 2 hours later were released into the Testing room where they

got to road test several prototypes of different products such as the joint venture Dueling Disks made with

the technology of Kaiba Corp., the Zoids Battle simulation game developed after Zoids CC, and various

other projects.

45 minutes later, they were dismissed by their Design and Technology teacher, Ms Agarimoro, and had

lunch, which consisted of some of Yugi's sushi, Jounouchi's Rainbow Pocky, Ryou's ham and egg

sandwiches, Jennifer's pork rolls, Honda's assortment of chocolate jellies and lollies, and Anzu's carrot

and alfalfa sprout salad. They then boarded the bus and were soon off to Domino City Cemetary.

The joy and cheerfullness of their lunch seemed to diminish as they turned away from the cherry blossom

lined streets of Domino to the less populated and much colder, dirty, and 'slum' like part of Domino.

They got off the bus and Yugi had his first look at the cemetary while everyone bowed their heads and

Anzu started to cry. The wrought, rusty iron gates creaked open and cast eerie shadows along the moist,

moldy, and cracked pavement path that led over to a large, wilted willow tree, whose braches were so long

that they lightly skimmed the algae-full pond water.

To Yugi, it was as if the light of the sun had been turned off and there was this eerie cold blue look to the

cemetary and as he descended further into the cemetary, his breath came out in fog and the world's

liveliness and joy it seemed were switched off, and replaced with bitter fury and unvented vengeance. The

air seemed to hold some sort or invisible ice, and he started to shiver. He didn't like this at all.

They continued along the cracked and pitted ston epath until they got to a small hill, and on top of the hill,

a statue of the Dark Magician, with his staff in his hand ready to attack, they all climbed the hill and stood

around, the Dark Magician, and looked at the slab of stone underneath the Magician.

Here lies Motou Yugi, born on the 16th of April 1986, died on the 25th of July 2003, aged 17 years old,

loved grandson of Motou Suguroku, dearly missed by all his friends.

Yugi looked into the eyes of the Magician, they seemed to glint with some sort of energy, as if to protect

the fallen champion that was Yugi, before he looked down, and noticed the tiniest of glints of some gold

object on the disturbed brown patch of earth. He said his prayers for Yugi and they class went to sit under

the tree to have a dicussion on Technology and Yugi.

3 hours later, the class was dismissed and evereyone, except Yugi, ran out of the cemetary, and after

finishing packing his bag, got up and was about to leave, but then he stopped, and turned around. He

remembered about the glinting object on the ground, so he ran all the way up the hill and started to dig

through the ground with his fingers. First he found a piece of gold with an Egyptian eye charm in it, until he

found alot of gold pieces and there were no more, so he re-covered the hole, placed them in his bag and left

for home. Unbeknownst to him, he had just acquired a Millenium Item: the Millenium Puzzle.
