"Brothers"

          ;   Seto went through the stack of Mokuba's school papers that he brought home. There were worksheets showing his progress, tests and quizzes, a few writing assignments, and the report card. The report card was fine, having all A's. The work his little brother done was fine too. Then Seto found an essay that Mokuba had done. He couldn't remember Mokuba saying anything about writing an essay in the last few weeks. The score was an A, and there were little to no mistakes. The thing that caught his attention though, was the essay's title. It read, My Older Brothers. Curious, Seto began reading it.

            People sometimes complain about having siblings or having no siblings. Even if they get along with their siblings, they still have their differences. Sometimes a sibling does not have to be blood related. Truth is, older sibling play the role model. Whoever can play that role model and be there for another can be considered a sibling. Blood wise, I have one older brother. In another sense where people are always there for me, I have 2 older brothers.

            Seto always looked out for me. In the orphanage he refused to go without me. He would protect me like every other brother would. Whenever I would get in serious trouble, I could count on him to come for me. Even if he is busy with his company, he still finds time to be with me.

            My other brother is a close friend that acts as my second older brother. His name is Yugi Mutou. Whether I get into trouble or Seto, I could always count on Yugi to be there to help us. Instead of the police, if I cannot get to Seto, I go to Yugi. When I feel lost or hopeless, he would give me reassurance and some advice.

            Being close to both of them, it is hard for me to see them at each other throats. Rivalry always comes to Seto whenever Yugi gets involved. Yugi offers friendship instead of holding a grudge. Seto offers responsibility and care. Where Seto cannot act as a role model, Yugi can and vice versa. Both share much in common when I think about it. Both love Duel Monsters and play to win yet they are so different.

            Maybe the two will get along one day, maybe not. Despite that, they are still my older brothers. I can rely on them and trust them. I can only hope they see me as the younger brother they can care for.

          &nb sp; Seto set down the paper, thinking. True, he did notice how Mokuba can easily go to Yugi when they were in trouble, like the virtual reality game incident. But he never thought of Mokuba seeing Yugi as an older brother too. Standing up, Seto walked downstairs and out the door. He told one of the few maids that he was going for a walk. As he walked down the street, he kept thinking about what Mokuba had written. As he passed the arcade, he could see Yugi, Joey, Tea, Tristan, Annaara, and Karia playing around. He also saw Mokuba hanging around. He had nearly forgotten that he wanted to go to the arcade, obviously to meet with Yugi. Yugi was showing Mokuba a few moves for a game while Annaara watched. Tristan and Joey were fighting over a piece of pizza back at their table while Tea and Karia watched.

          &nb sp; Keeping out of visions eyes, he watched as Yugi and Mokuba interacted. Mokuba really did look to Yugi as an older brother. One he could rely on and play around with. When he thought about it, Yugi did play an important part in Mokuba's life. Seto continued on with his walk. Maybe one day he and Yugi would be friends. First they still had a score to settle.
