So very sorry for this unreasonably late update but I have problems right now but other than that I hope you like chapter 7 to "Caught In The Middle" ENJOY!!!

They had been together for so long now it was unreal, Ryou could hardly stand it. Every time he tried to say goodbye to one of them something always stopped him, he loved both of them and yes it was wrong but neither of them would leave him but he didn't know if he had the strength to cut one loose. He sat on his bed he told both Marik and Seto that he had other things to attend to, when in truth he didn't he just wanted to be alone. He let silent tears fall down his face, why did love have to be so complicated? He sighed wiping away the tears the best he could when the phone suddenly rang.

"Hello?" Ryou said somberly

"Ryou? Are you all right?" Seto asked on the other line

"…Yeah, I'm fine just a bit busy, could you call me later?" Ryou asked not wanting to speak to anyone at the moment.

"Ryou…I'm really worried about you…you keep on shutting me off and also you've been so melancholy lately…please Ryou tell me what's bothering you." Seto asked really concerned about his lovers well being.

Ryou chocked back a sob, how could he tell Seto that he was sleeping with Marik behind his back? "I…don't worry about me Seto please, I-I'll be fine." Ryou said hanging up the phone before Seto had a chance to reply.

Seto looked at the phone angrily and thought about calling Ryou back but decided against it. He wasn't blind, he knew that Ryou and Marik were sleeping together, but he didn't care really. He loved Ryou so much and if Marik wanted a competition for Ryou's heart, he would have one…yes, he wanted to confront Ryou about this but he was afraid that Ryou would end up breaking up with him. Seto also knew that Ryou felt guilty but couldn't seem to stop seeing either of them, he would wait for Ryou to tell him and not let on that he knew unless sit got to out of control.

Ryou decided it had to stop, he had to tell one of them that it was over…and he decided that he loved Seto more and after he told Marik it was over he would tell Seto what he had done…and if he lost both of them so be it. He was a little afraid as he knocked on Marik's door, he knew that you do not break up with someone over the phone, its not fair to that person, but he was afraid of Marik's reaction to this.

"Ryou, what are you doing here?" Marik asked pulling Ryou inside "I thought you were busy today." Marik said

"I was…listen Marik I need too…" Ryou started but Marik cut him off by kissing him passionately

Ryou pulled away "S-stop Marik." Ryou said backing away from him

"What's wrong?" Marik asked a little confused usually Ryou would melt into his kisses now he was telling him to stop?

"I…I want to stop, stop this relationship with you." Ryou said swallowing nervously as he looked down not wanting to see Marik's expression for fear of what he might see.

"You're kidding right?" Marik said in a low voice that made Ryou wince

"N-no…I can't do this anymore Marik, and I'm sorry." Ryou said still not looking up

"Your sorry?" Marik laughed a bit "You should have told me we were only playing Ryou." Marik said obviously getting a bit angry with Ryou

"I didn't know what to do Marik, and we weren't only playing…I do care about you Marik I care about you a lot…" Marik once again cut Ryou off by bringing him into a bruising kiss holding on the Ryou's arms tightly so he couldn't pull away.

"Then don't end it with me." Marik said low

Ryou felt tears sting the back of his eyes. "Please Marik stop, I'm sorry if I hurt you and if I lead you on…I didn't mean for it to go so far." Ryou said trembling slightly

"You do realize I'm in love with you right Ryou?" Marik asked

"…Yes." Ryou answered simply

"Then you must understand I cannot let him win you." Marik said "I will not let him have you if it means I cannot ever hold you again." Marik said

"You're making this harder than it has to be…" Ryou said trailing off

Marik simply shook his head at Ryou and kissed him strongly and passionately and for a moment, Ryou kissed back at first, but after a while, he tore his face away.

"Marik please stop it, I wont do this again…no more please." Ryou asked

Marik's grip tightened around Ryou's arms and Ryou winced, Marik was getting really angry which frightened Ryou beyond comprehension.

"Take it back Ryou, before I do something I regret." Marik said not looking Ryou in the eye, not wanting to.

"I…I cant, I choose Seto." Ryou said

Marik was so enraged he slapped Ryou hard across the face, which sent him to the floor. Ryou fought back tears as he looked up at Marik who was keeping his eyes hidden. Ryou opened his mouth but Marik shoved him back down on the floor straddling him and placing a hand over his mouth.

"I don't want to hear it Ryou…I don't care if you love him more and you don't love me…I still love you." Marik said removing his hand and kissing him holding his wrists above his head.

Ryou whimpered into the kiss as tears escaped his eyes. He couldn't budge Marik's grip and he tried to tear his face away but he couldn't do that either. Marik slipped his tongue in Ryou's mouth deeply kissing him not allowing him to break free from his grasp…if this was to be Marik's last night with Ryou he was going to make it worthwhile.

Finally! I have updated this story! And I am sorry if its really short like I said I'm having real problems with this story and its up to you my faithful reviewers what happens between Ryou and Marik so…
