Chapter Four: This Town Becomes Battle City!

Chapter Summary: Yami and Seto duel but find out they can’t duel each other. Yami find that when he duels Seto he’s not only dueling someone equal to him but someone who holds his heart. They can’t look into each other eyes without showing what the feel for one another. When Seto duel normally when someone destroys his monster he push himself to beyond his limits but when he duels Yami he feels different he can’t explain why he feels this way.

YK: Like I said Yami vs. Seto. Yami gets to see the tablet or the Pharaoh. Seto has a Millennium item the Millennium cross or life. It’s inside of him. It activates when his in great danger or when something evil is around. He gets pain inside of his chest when something evil around. Like the tablet of the Pharaoh and other things. Seto and Yami don’t know about until later in the next story I’ll right.

Yami and Seto started to walk up the stairs. When they got inside of Domino Museum they saw that a lot of people where here. Yami looked around briefly before he and Seto continued. Seto lead them down a flight of stairs. In side the room were two stone tablets. Yami walked over toward the pharaoh’s tablet. Right away one of the figures he noticed looked like him. “So it’s turn I’m am from ancient Egypt.” Yami said. His ear perked when he heard Seto take in a shallow breath.

Yami stared up at the pharaoh tablet. “It’s said that all eighteen dynasties pharaoh names are list he but yours.” Seto said. Yami looked toward him and notice a pained look on his face. “Inochi what’s wrong?” Yami said. Seto hunched slightly. “Every time I look at this I get a pained feeling in my chest.” Seto said. Yami noticed hi was grapping his shirt tightly. “On the other tablet is where the card I gave you fit with all this.” Seto said. Yami turned not really wanting to look away from him.

He saw a tablet with Duel monsters on it. Yami heard footsteps and also notice Seto was kneeling on the floor. “Inochi I don’t want to put you in danger if it hurts for you to be here we can leave.” Yami said concern flashing across his eyes. Yami lift his head when he heard someone approaching them. He steps in front of Seto. “Sorry to keep you waiting” Isis said. {A Millennium item. I know the symbol anywhere. Could she be the one?} “I have been protecting part of the Pharaoh's memory, as my people have done for the past 3000 years.” Isis tells Yami.

Yami just listen as you talks. “I knew you were coming, and that in coming here on you own will, you have chosen the destiny of battle. In order to recover your memory, you must gather all seven Millennium Items.” Isis says. “Stop this nonsense are you friend or an Enemy if you’re an enemy I’ll gladly send you to the dark world. “I’m not an enemy, but a person with a new Millennium Item will come before you, and that the upcoming battle will recall his memory.” Isis says. ”What’s going on,” Yami says tried of the game “You’ll have to find out the rest himself. I take care of my friend now if I were you.” She said and left.

Yami help Seto stand and they left the museum together. “Kaiser do you think it true that person your looking for will revel himself soon.” Seto said. He still felt pain run through his body be not as much. “I’m not sure. Oh gods Inochi I really don’t want to put you in danger.” Yami said. “I know but there’s no way around find him. He’ll be at the tournament I’m throwing.” Seto said. Yami looked at him. “That remind me we need to duel.” Yami said.

-Kaiba Corp. Research & Development-

“ Do you know all the rules Kaiser?” Seto said. “I think I can manage.” Yami said. Yami and Seto both drew their five cards. “I’ll start Inochi. I’ll summon Beta the magnet warrior in defense mode and place three cards face down. Your move utsukushii (JP: 1). “Doukeshi (JP: 2), Ray & Temperature in defense mode and place three cards face down.” Seto said. “My move I’ll Offer Beta to summon Curse of dragon to the field. I‘ll end my turn.” Yami said. “Boku no turn (JP3:) I’ll send Thunder dragon to the graveyard this allows add two from my deck to my hand. Next, I’ll play Polymerization to fuse them together into Twin headed Thunder Dragon. Then I’ll place one more card face down. I’ll end my turn. “My move I’ll play Polymerization and fuse Gaia and Curse of dragon into Gaia the dragon champion. I’ll also place one more card face down.” Yami said. “Alright Twin headed Thunder dragon attack his Gaia the dragon champion.” Seto said. “Hold on I’ll play the magic card Pump up. This card increases my monster attack by double.” Yami said.

(YK: Seto: 1600 Yami: 4000)

Seto lowered his head slightly. “Inochi?” Yami said. Seto let his bangs fall into his eyes. “Alright Boku no turn. I’ll summon Silent Swordsman Lv.3 in defense mode. That ends my turn. {Why do I feel this way? I can duel him at my fullest. I can’t look into his eyes.} “My move I’ll place one card face down.” Yami said. “I’ll offer my Silent swordsman Lv.3 to special summon silent swordsman Lv.5 from my hand or deck. Next I’ll play the magic card Axe of Despair this raises my monster attack by 1000. Now my swordsman Attack. Goblin's secret remedy this magic card increase my life points by 600.” Seto said.

(YK: Seto: 2200 Yami: 3300)

“Alright my move Koibito.” Yami said watching as Seto blushed and lowered his head. Yami knew the nicknames he gave Seto always caused him to blush. “Alright I’ll play Dark hole.” Yami said. “I’ll counter with White hole this trap card allows me to save my monster while your are destroy which you didn’t have any.” Seto said. “Ah, I see. I‘ll play the magic card de-spell this card allows me t destroy a magic card I’ll pick you ax of despair. Next I‘ll play Big shield Gardna in defense mode. This ends my turn.” Yami said. (“Seto you need to summon me if you want to win this duel.” I don’t have a dark monster in my graveyard.) “I’ll play fusion gate Now this I’ll fuse Petit Dragon and FireGrass to summon Darkfire Dragon defense mode. Next I’ll play Raigeki this destroys all of you monster on your side of the field. I’ll place on more card face down and end my turn.

“My move. I’ll play magical academy I’ll discard 2 cards from my hand to summon one spell caster-type monster from my hand I’ll summon Dark Magician. Now my Dark Magician attack points are raised by 500 more attack points. Attack his Darkfire Dragon DM.” Yami said. “My move I’ll remove two of my monster from the game. I’ll remove petit dragon and Darkfire dragon to summon Black Luster soldier-envoy of the beginning. I’ll play Black pendant this increase his attack by 500. All right Attack his dark magician. Now since he destroyed one of you monster he can attack again Attack his life points directly. I win.” Seto said.

(YK: Seto: 2200 Yami: 0)

“Omedetou (JP: 4) Inochi you finally beat me. I’ve never seen that card before.” Yami said. “I’ve had it I’ve just never played it. He kind of reminds me of you Kaiser.” Seto said.

-Meanwhile time-lapse Seto has already told everyone about the tournament -

“Now why do you what to duel Joey.” Yugi said. “You and Yami almost play the same card I want to see if I’m a match for him.” Joey said. “It’s time to Duel.” Both teens said. I’ll start by summon Celtic guardian in defense mode and placing two cards face down and I’ll end my turn.” Yugi said. “I summon Gearfried the iron knight in attack mode. Attack!” Joey yelled. “Not so fast Joe I’ll play mirror force. It destroys all monster in attack mode.” Yugi said. “No, I’ll play one card face down and end my turn.” Joey said. “I summon watapon and sacrifice them to summon dark magician and play mystical space typhoon to destroy your face down card and play pump up attack you directly.” Yugi said

(YK: Yugi: 4000 Joey: 0)

“I Lost” Joey said. Yugi held his arms up in the air in victory. “That was a great duel Joey maybe you could stand a chance against Yami.” Yugi said. “Speaking of him isn’t he home on Sunday.” Joey said. “Umm…He’s went on a date and he said he’d be home late.” Yugi said. “A date huh with who?” Joey said. “You wouldn’t know the person some fan of his. [Buy it please I don’t know if Yami wants them to know.] “Well he was lucky. It’s getting late I see you later at school.” Joey said. “See ya Joe.” Yugi said.

-Kaiba Mansion. -

Yami and Seto where getting ready for bed. “Well I finally get to see who I’m up against.” Yami said. He lies down. Seto followed suit. Resting his head on Yami’s chest. “Hey I forgot to ask when we left the exhibit. How do you feel?” Yami said.

-Flashback-

“I’m fine now.” Seto said against Yami chest. Cause Tickling Yami a little causing him to laugh slightly. “Do you know what it was?” Yami said. Seto shook his head no. “Only when I’m near it I feel like that. Yami wrapped his arms around him. “I don’t think we have to see it anymore.” Yami said. Seto turned so him and Yami where lying side by side. “Hey do you know what the tablet said?” Seto asked. “No I couldn’t read it, but that’s alright as I said before I’d like to keep thinks the way they are.” Yami said. Pressing his forehead to Seto’s. They lips meet. Yami pulled away. “The day after tomorrow is when I hope he’ll revile himself.” Yami said against Seto lips before he capture them again this time long the last. Yami pulled away. Oyasumi nasai (JP: 5) ai” Yami said. “Oyasumi nasai Kaiser.” Seto said.

~Dream~

Yami is walking around a dark room. At the end is a light when he reach there he feels for a door and pushes it open. When he enters he senses something dark. He sees a dark figure. Then he sees Seto reaching out toward him. {Why can’t I move?} “Kaiser help me please.” Seto whispered. Yami noticed how weak his voice sounded. “Inochi!” Yami said. The dark figure pulled him back into the darkness. “He’s ours now Pharaoh.” It was same voice that was controlling Bandit Keith.

~End Dream~

Yami shot up quickly. Knocking Seto away from him. Seto awoke slightly. Seto looked up at Yami. Seto woke up a little more. “Kaiser?” Seto said. He noticed that Yami’s were wide and had fear running through them. Seto laid his head against Yami chest this caused Yami to looked down when his eyes meet with Seto form he relaxed a little and wrapped his arms around him. “Kaiser what’s wrong?” Seto asked and looked up at him. “A nightmare is all. I’m fine now you can go back to sleep.” Yami said. Seto closed his eyes and feel asleep. Yami looked at the clock it read 4:30a. He wouldn’t fall asleep anytime soon he know it. That man was still after him and he might go after Seto next. Yami sighed to himself. This was going to be a long night.

YK: Well that chapter four hope you like it read and Review. Chapter five: Ghouls Attack: Take Aim at Red Eyes Black Dragon. I’m already on Chapter five that was quick I’d thought it would take longer oh well. I’ll get started on Chapter five today. I’m home schooled so after I done with the next part of my schoolwork. I’ll get started.
