***Shy, timid girl********
You just moved in to Domino town for a dueling tournament Kaiba Corp. was holding, but at the same time, you needed to go there because your parents died & you're about to move in with your grandfather, who owns a dojo in this town. Your Oji-chan has been teaching you kendo since you were 4, so naturally, you became really good at swordplay & has been winning kendo tournaments since you were in first grade, but this time... Your passion lies in Duel Monsters....
"Omatase!! Jii-chan!!" (Sorry for waiting, Grandfather!!)
You said hesitantly to your grandfather, bowing respectedly before him as you got out from your taxi. He nodded kindly, & spoke with his soft, old voice.
"Osoi yo, ____________(Nickname!)" (You're slow)
He said, smiling kindly, & replying playfully. You blushed, and bowed again, for at least 4 times before him.
"Gomenasai gomenasai gomenasai!!! Jiichan!! Gomenasai!!"
"It's alright, ________ -chan!! (Like Mikoto-chan, Anzu-chan, etc) I see you haven't changed much..."
He replied to you, sweatdropping. You, who still happens to be bowing, tilt your head up to see your oji-chan's face, still smiling down at you, and you (Finally) stood up in an upright position.
"I'm really sorry for your loss, _________-chan..."
He said, with a tone of pity & regret in his voice. You looked at him, & reassured him with a smile to motion him you were okay, as you then unloaded your things from the taxi. But truth is... You were broken inside. Your loss has created a deep wound inside you, when there you were, helpless & inferior when your parents were taken away from you forever, right in front of you...
Your Oji-chan helped you unload, & you carried 3 luggages while he carried two in both his hands, & you trailed behind him but stopped for a second in silence, dazing out a bit. You then looked at your grandfather's back, he is already entering the dojo which happens to also be your home from now on, and ran after him climbing up the stairs to the entrance, & getting your things unloaded.... This is going to take a while.....
HALF AN HOUR LATER....
At the moment, you are now lying on your back on your tatami-mat floor and spread out your arms, inside your room with the boxes & luggages unpacked (Some of them at least). So far, since the only ones in the house is you & your Oji-chan, you haven't done any mistakes or any problems with anyone.... Yet. Considering that this is a house & a dojo combined, the place was quite big but nevertheless, it has a calm, quiet atmosphere, especially the garden. You remembered that as a child, you really loved feeding the koi fishes in the pond in that garden, when your parents had to leave you for a few days in your Oji-chan's care.
You sighed. A few moments later, your Oji-chan knocked on your door, & you motioned him to come in. You were quite grateful that your room had a doorknob, instead of slide doors like the ones fixed on the main dojo rooms. Anyway, your Oji-chan came in & brought some green tea & mochi cakes (A Japanese rice-pounded cake. Tasty ^_^)
"Domo Arigatou, Oji-chan"
You thanked him, as you prepared sitting cushions for both of you. You both then sat across each other, & you sat in a proper style, even though this leg position makes your leg fall asleep. But you can't show improper manners now in front of your grandfather by sitting cross-legged on the floor (Yes, you don't have chair.... MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!! FEEL MY PAIN!!) & began eating the snacks silently with your grandfather.
"___________-chan..."
"Nani, Jiichan?" (Nani: What)
"It's already 3:30pm, why don't you take a walk around here for the moment? I'm pretty sure kids your age are out from their schools now, maybe you can find some friends in or something... Or even flirt"
Your grandfather suggested, adding a playful tone in 'flirt'. You blushed madly & argued, but the only thing coming out is a few stutters. Your grandfather sweatdropped, & began cleaning up the leftovers.
"Oji-chan!! Please!! Let me do it!"
"It's alright, _________-chan, I got it covered. Now, why don't you run along & look around... Sorry I couldn't come with you though"
"But..."
"Yes?"
"Nevermind..."
You prepare to leave, when grandfather abruptly reminded you.
"Hey!! Remember, DON'T BUMP TO YAKUZAS AGAIN LIKE LAST TIME!!"
You shuddered at the memory. You were looking around when you bumped unto a yakuza member, or a Japanese mafia member & you couldn't help but apoligize & bow over & over again. He forgave you, but you still haven't stopped apoligizing, & when you stopped, you realised you were lost & the yakuza dude had to help you get home. Again, you apoligized a million times even after he forgave you, heck, even after he LEFT.
In any case, you walked around areas near your home, not wanting to bump to another random strange dude... But alas, while gazing at shop signs, you bumped into someone...
"GOMENASAI!!!"
Now, who did you bump into?
A short kid with spiky-hair (Page 7)
A medium height-dude with spiky hair (Page 8)
A calm-looking blue haired boy (Page 9)
An angry looking blue haired boy (Page 10)
A man with torquise hair & two coloured eyes (Page 11)
