Memories Regained

 

Yami slowly withdrew his fangs from the teens neck, stepping back he looked at him closely, his eyes narrowed, he was starting to remember his past. This, this teen was starting to remind him of someone…but whom? Who was it that this youth reminded him of?

 

 

He looked deeper into the boys eyes and found himself drowning in the twin pools of pure amethyst, as he looked a name came to him “Heba” he whispered, the teen before him smiled, “My name is Yugi now”

“You remember? You know me?” Yami asked quizzically

Yugi nodded “Yes I remember everything”

“But how? You are not an immortal your memories should have faded with each rebirth”

Yugi sighed and placed his hand in his pocket “I had forgotten everything, that is until I completed this” Yami's eyes widened as Yugi held up the millennium puzzle.

 

 

Staring at Yugi in awe he put out his hand and gently touched the puzzle mainly to verify that it was indeed there and not just an illusion “How?” he whispered

“My grandfather found it on a dig in Egypt and felt that I was meant to have it, when I completed it” Yugi stopped and Yami noticed the tears shimmering in his eyes “I remembered you my pharaoh, my love”

 

 

“Heba my Heba” Yami whispered he wrapped his arms around Yugi “I've missed you so much, I have spent my long lifetime looking for you but…” Yugi silenced him with a delicious kiss “So Atemu, was I just going to be a meal?”

Yugi giggled as Atemu blushed “Um well”…
