Malik sighed and pushed himself out of bed that early morning. Padding toward the door, he threw it open and stepped out into the living room.. The smell of freshly made bacon wafted through the hallway and toward the Egyptian’s nose. “Mmm.” Malik mumbled, finding his feet dragging him toward the kitchen. Sitting down at the table, across from Jou and Otogi, he licked his lips as Ryou silently brought plate after plate of bacon, eggs and rice out for the three to feast on. Once he was done, he sat down and dug in to his own plate.

With a mouth full of food, Jounouchi looked up from the paper he was reading and over to Malik. “Did you get wind of anyone we might be able to dispose of tonight?” He asked, before swallowing.

Malik shook his head. “Nah, I was just about to check that out. Ryou,” He looked toward the white haired boy. “Do you have anything to do today?”

“Yeah, I have a few appointments, but nothing after three.” He stated, never looking up from his food.

“Good, good. I’ll check and see if there’s anything we can do tonight.” Grinning, he finished off his food and got up from the table, leaving the dishes for Otogi.

To understand how their house works, you must understand the layout of the house. It’s pretty stretched out over their plot of land, surrounded by trees, a small temple, and nothing else. The “first floor” is the main floor. What people would see when they walked in.

When you walk into the house, there’s a small hallway, with doors leading to the dining room, one to Otogi and Jou’s room and one to the bigger hallway. From the hallway, you can go to the living room, bathroom or kitchen. From the living room, you can go to Malik’s room, or Ryou’s room. Attached to Ryou’s room at the side of the house is a small room for his “side job”, which is acupuncture.

Sounds simple enough. Their rooms are normal looking, there’s nothing suspicious around other than an old collection of swords on display in the smaller hallway. In the larger one, if you walk to the end, on the opposite side of the bathroom, you can find a trap door, which leads down to the “second floor”. The layout for this one is almost like a labyrinth, and almost every door is locked, save the game room and the meeting room doors. After coming down the stairs, you are standing across from a bathroom. On your right is the door to Malik’s room, which is complete with a huge system of computers, and a workbench. ON your left is Otogi’s kink room, which he barely ever goes in. This is also used for witness interrogation, mainly because it either scares the crap out of them, or torture is needed in the process. Above Malik’s workroom is the meeting room. If you get through the lock there, you get to a small shooting range, complete with targets and all that good stuff. If you go through the game room, you get to Jou’s workroom, which he uses to make guns, flamethrowers, and any kind of bomb of some kind.

You might wonder where Ryou’s room might be. With permission from Otogi, since the room is big enough, he’s allowed martial arts training in that room. There’s also a small dojo apart from the house, somewhere near the temple that he freely trains in, but is not allowed the use of weapons in there.

Malik sighed and walked calmly into the hallway, before pulling back the carpet to reveal the trap door. Opening it up, he slid under and closed it before walking down the staircase. Pulling out his set of keys, he hurried toward the door to his room and opened it, turning on the lights on his way in.

The room was a simple one, with white walls and black polished floor. In one large corner, there was a huge hunk of monitors, wires, and computers. Sitting down in his chair, he pressed a button and the largest monitor (the one hanging on the wall) turned on.

“Welcome Ishtar-san.” The computer spoke.

“Yeah, yeah.” He mumbled, turning on all of the other monitors, which didn’t greet him. “Computer, bring up the government’s site.” He said, fingers flying wildly over the keys.

“Hai.” The government's site immediately popped up on all seven of the screens. Moving to a different keyboard, he began typing one thing, and moved from each keyboard, bringing up a different thing on each screen. Moving back to the main keyboard (one that made a half circle around him), he began typing, his eyes never leaving the main monitor.

“Well, well, well...” He whispered, pressing a button and grinning triumphantly. “Computer, transmit the information to the upstairs television.”

“Hai.”

*~*

Ryou, Jou and Otogi, who had moved to the living room to watch Saturday morning cartoons, were not surprised when the screen went black. Just a little angry. Soon, the blackness was replaced by a picture of a man, which became smaller and a ton of information began to appear next to the picture.

“Mizahaya is wanted by the government for a very large sum. He worked for the Yakuza as a hitman, killing off other gang members.” The information disappeared only to have names appear next to him.

“Any of those names we recognize?” Otogi asked, squinting to see the fine print.

“Not particularly, but it seems that Mutou Yuugi is on there. Maybe his boyfriend had something to do with it.” Otogi nodded once and shifted a bit in the chair.

“Well, what do you propose we do?” Ryou asked, looking over at Jounouchi and Otogi.

“Ishtar-san said to tell Jounouchi-san that he is in town this very moment, and likes sushi restaurants.” The computer said, before the television went blank and the cartoons reappeared. The smirk on Jounouchi’s face widened and he got up and headed for the trapdoor.

At around four, when Ryou was finished with his appointments (one had run just slightly late), he looked around the house to find it empty. Sighing, he removed his apron and made his way to the trapdoor.

Malik poked his tongue out of his mouth and wrote down the number on a slip of paper for Jounouchi, before going back to fiddling with what seemed to be a large television screen.

“So, what is this?” Otogi asked, eying the contraption.

“It’s something that most business men use. It’s like talking to a person face to face, only not.” Malik tried to explain, before standing up and brushing imaginary dirt off of a his hands.

“Thanks for letting me use your workroom, Jou.” Malik grinned, before heading out the door and straight into the game room, where he angled the “television-phone” so that it only got a shot of the pool table to the viewer.

“Okay, so what’s the plan again?” Otogi asked, wrapping his arms around Jou’s waist.

“Well, you two have to dress up like girls. I’m going to call this guy and tell him that there’s someone I want dead for a rather large sum of money.” Jou explained.

“And why do we have to dress up like girls?”

“So you look like my... uh... harem or something.” Malik began laughing at that and looked down at his outfit of jeans and a black shirt.

“Right-o. You get changed then.” Malik said, before dragging Otogi off to the “kink room”. On their way out, they ran into Ryou, who was just about to knock on the door. Grinning insanely, the two of them grabbed the younger boy and dragged him off as well.

Jounouchi adjusted the collar of his suit and fixed the dark sunglasses shading his eyes. “I look very... mafia-ish.” He said to the mirror in the game room. Sitting down on the edge of the old pool table, he sighed and eyed the “phone” that he was going to have to use. Just as he was about to lay down, the three walked back into the room.

Ryou was dressed in a low-cut red Chinese dress, with his hair up in a bun with chopsticks. Otogi had on a short miniskirt and a green top. Malik, on the other hand, was wearing his favourite leather dress, that was tight around the chest (turtle neck, as well) and loose around the legs, with two slits going all the way to his thighs. Strange enough, Otogi had got it to look like they all had “woman parts”. Jounouchi nodded his approval and turned on the TV-phone.

Malik and Otogi grabbed two pool cues and started playing a simple game of pool, while Ryou sat on one of the edges, looking like a fragile porcelain doll. Jounouchi dialed the number and it rang for a while, making Jounouchi slightly nervous.

A plump man wearing a simple black suit answered the phone. He glanced around furtively and looked at the image of Jounouchi that appeared on his “TV-phone”. Jou smiled ferrally.

“Mizahaya-san.” He greeted, deepening his voice. “Good to see you again.”

“I’m sorry sir, I don’t know that name.” He said, looking as nervous as ever.

“Bull.” Jou said, crossing his arms. “You might not remember me, but I’m Katsuya.” He smirked, giving the man his last name. “I’m wondering if you’d be interested in a job...

“What... what kind of job?”

“Oh the regular. Kill a few people, make a few million.” Mizahaya seemed to perk up a bit on this.

“Well, I’d have to meet you about it, and... I want proof that there will be money involved.” Jounouchi nodded and moved over to Otogi, who paused in his game and spread his legs slightly. Jou brushed his lips against Otogi’s and the black haired boy slowly slid him a briefcase. Jounouchi grabbed the briefcase and slowly carried it toward the phone, before opening it. Mizahaya nodded.

“Meet me at the new sushi bar next to the shopping mall in the middle of Kyoto at 6:30 PM. We can discuss our business there.” Jounouchi said, his face turning serious, as he shut the briefcase. “If you bring any weapons, I will be forced to kill you.” And with that parting note, he shut off the TV-phone and relaxed.

At the destined time, Jounouchi, Otogi, Ryou and Malik sat at the sushi bar in a secluded table somewhere in a corner. They were all dressed the same as they were during the conversation, only with a few added details. Beneath his large coat, Jou had a few handguns hidden, Ryou had a small purse with something most likely hidden in it, Otogi had a knife sheathed in his boot, and Malik was wearing his leather jacket, hiding Ebenholz and Elfenbein from view.

Jou was watching the door out of the corner of his eye when Mizahaya stepped through the door, glancing around. He spotted Jounouchi and went over to his table. Jounouchi stood to greet him, holding out his arm and shaking it firmly. Malik smiled slyly, as did Otogi. Ryou was still looking as fragile as ever.

“Mizahaya-san, glad you could make it.” He said, gesturing to a seat in between Otogi and Malik. The waiter came over and poured the two men glasses of wine.

“So, about that... job.” The hitman whispered under his breath.

“Ah, that. Hold on.” He said, holding up his hand, as another waiter came over and took their orders. When that was over with, Jounouchi sipped at his wine. “There’s someone who could be a danger and a threat to all gangs down here in the Kyoto district. I was wondering if you, given the right information, of course, could take down this person, and for that good sum that I showed you earlier this afternoon.” Jounouchi said it almost smoothly, and with wonderful acting, that Malik was beginning to wonder what he did during his younger years.

Mizahaya thought it over for a few minutes, and then nodded. “I’ll do it.”

“Good, good. I don’t suppose you’d like a little extra... boost in your drink?” Jounouchi asked, as Duke pulled out three packets of some unknown substance. He poured one in his own drink, then one in Jou’s and then looked to Mizahaya expectantly.

“Sure... why not?” He asked, feeling a tad more confident. Otogi gave his sexiest smile and poured the substance in his wine. Soon after, the food arrived and they all began eating. Otogi sighed, restlessly and got up.

“If you’ll excuse me, I’ll be in the bathroom.” He whispered, huskily, making his voice sounding ten times more feminine that it should be. Winking at Mizahaya he made his way toward the bathroom.

Several minutes later, Mizahaya got up and left in the same direction as Otogi.

Jounouchi grinned wickedly at Ryou and Malik.

“What was the substance?” Ryou asked, very curious.

“Oh, the one in me’n Otogi’s drinks was packaged sugar. He got a sedative, which should weaken him.” Jou said, nodding. Malik smiled and went back to eating.

*~*

Otogi purred things into Mizahaya’s ear in the abandoned girl’s bathroom, his long fingers tracing designs on his fat thighs. Moving his hand, he grabbed both of his wrists behind his back.

“Do you really want this?” He purred. Mizahaya nodded, a grin spreading over his plump face. “Good.” And with that, handcuffs quickly bound his wrists together and he kicked the fat hitman in the crotch, causing him to whimper and fall forward. Pulling duck tape out of his dress, he bound his feet together and then covered his mouth, careful not to leave any fingerprints. Looking up at the window, he stepped on a sink, not even slipping in the slightest, and opened a window, before grabbing Mizahaya by his collar and stuffing him out the window, Ryou’s car in plain sight.

*~*

Jounouchi paid for the bill and they promptly left, making a beeline for Ryou’s car. Duke was already in the back, looking a bit distressed from having to carry a two hundred pound man to the trunk, but other than that, he seemed fine.

After writing the kanji for ‘misery’ on his forehead, they dropped him off at the police station without being seen and left to go home, the darkness helping the car blend in.

When they got home, Malik realized it was only eight, and that he could still get out and do something. Grinning, he skipped off to his bedroom and changed into a pair of tight jeans and a tight black tank top that clung to his skin and showed a patch of tanned stomach. Stuffing some bills into his back pocket, he grabbed his motorcycle helmet and waved goodbye to the other three, who were relaxing on the couch with a movie and some popcorn.

“Going clubbing. Be back later.” He smiled, making his way toward the door. “If I’m not back by tonight, I’ll give you a call in the morning.” Exiting, he smiled and shook his head at the mumbles he got for responses. Grabbing his motorcycle, he mounted it and sped off toward the nearest town.

*~*

The vacant lot was littered with bodies as a figure sat in the darkness and wiped the blood off of its gleaming katana. Sheathing the deadly sword, the figure cackled and began walking away through the never ending darkness.
