Chapter I
The young boy running down the street panted as he turned the corner. Anybody who saw this
youngboy would think he was 9 or 10 not gessing the short boy was actually 17. Yugi cursed himself for
not setting his alarm clock, of course he had be very tired and gone stright ot bed. Luckily he made it to
school on time threw his bag on the ground and sat down 5 seconds before the bell rang. The young boy
just wished that he didn't fall asleep so late. Yesterday had worn him out, the vampire uprising had been
frequent and they had worn him out. "Hey Yug you look tired what happened?" "Nothing Jou I just
didn't get enough sleep." "Mr. Motou Mr. Wheeler do you have something to share with the class?"
"No Holmes-sensai" the two boys choursed. /Yawn... morning abotu/ \morning Yami\ "mr. Motou
please pay attention" "sorry sensai." He had been ecstatic when he found out that he was able to talk to
his yami, but it gave him a far of look which didn't pass with teachers. Soon the lunch bell rang and the
entire class filed out for lunch. Yugi and his friends found a spot under a maple with attractive red leaves.
Juounichi, Honda, Anzu, and Ryou started to unpack their lunches "where's your lunch Yugi?" Ryuo
inquired "I forgot to pack one" "oh." Out of all his friends only Ryuo and Duo knew he was a hunter if Anzu
knew she would tell him to stop because he was killing human beings, he snorted vampires where not
humans or living for that matter. If Juounichi and Honda knew they would try to help him which was
impossable they where not chosen. Then there was Duo Maxwell that guy was full of magic but he rarely
used it. He said he was looking for someone who would help him control it someone who was very special.
Yugi started to wonder who Duo was looking for a girlfriend, ha, the closest thing he had to a girlfriend was
that crowd of screaming fan-girls, a sibling or family member, na Duo told him that all of his family was
dead then who could it be. Earth to Yugi, Yugi snap out of it" "huh" "we asked do you want some of
ourlunches." "Sure thanks" Yugi sighed life was getting harder and harder and the forboding feeling he
had was not helping at all. Oh well as long as a chosen with a higher magic power then his never came
he was perfectly fine, he sat bolt upright he sensed a power much higher that his would ever be, he prayed
to which ever deity was listening that it was not a vampire or a another hunter but a wandering mage or
witch.****** She sighed, her work was never done the vampires here numbered to much and there where
no chosen here that she could find, her magic covered this entire town and only one person had magic and
that was her brother. She wished that she could just go home if she had a home to go to, the only home
that she had ever felt welcome in had been destroyed. She emitted another sigh she was not cut out for
this kind of work,she would rather be at Waterdeep, or adventuring with the Chosen of Mystra, or maby
even Foxfire her woodelf friend whom she would go hunting with when she was younger. She exited the
alley she was currently occupying 'this is no time to be reminiscening on the past. We have to find your
brother' '\ I know, I know, so stop reminding me\' Celest cut the conenction with the other entity in her
body. She strode purpously off, her boots making no sound on the cement.
Hey folks hope you all are enjoying what I've got up so far I'll try to type the other 3 chapters as fast as I can.
