*Ryou sighed and slammed his back against the door just incase the flimsy thing gave out, Closing both eyes tightly he glanced around the room recognizing the layout, It was one of the houses..Though one of the rules that were made up for him was to NEVER enter one of these houses..This seemed to be an exception, Slamming his back against the door in retaliation to Bakura's hits on the door, Ryou opened both eyes and looked to Seth. "This isn't good."

 

~ Seth heard one of the coyotes hit the door and shook his head, backing up into the middle of the room. He still had the sennen rod in his hand, and kept a good grip on it. He sighed heavily and moved over to a wall, leaning his back against it then sliding down to sit. He knew the coyotes wouldn't leave until they got bored with the two people in the room or found something easier to catch, or sunrise came. Seth didn't respond to the other, shaking his head~ " They won't break the door down."

 

Bakura stopped and found a nice place to watch. He had told Kyu to never enter the houses for a reason. Some of the spirits still lived in them. As long as nothing was disturbed or taken from the house nothing bad would happen. As long as none of the food was eaten and everything was kept as it was, Seth and Kyu would be safe. He just hoped Kyu would get in and get out as soon as possible. The longer they stayed the greater the chance they'd disturb something and awaken the spirits. He'd told Kyu a while after he started training him, about the spirits that live around here, and to not disturb the items around the houses or things meant as offering to them. The whole town was a grave and a tomb, he'd told Kyu to be careful. Some of the more vengeful spirits he couldn't protect Kyu from if the boy did something to disturb or anger them.

 

*Sighing softly he slid down the door his shirt riding up in the back as he sat, by the time he sat his bare back was against the wooden door, Reaching back he pulled the shirt back down and looked to Seth.* "This is really bad..What if they DO get in, What if they.." *Shaking his head he adverted his gaze from Seth to the ground, staring at small specs of sand on the floor.* "What do we do now?"

 

" Sit, and shut up." ~ he said shortly, he was annoyed and he would have to walk back to the palace once they got out of this mess. Seth closed his eyes, yawning. He may have been resting today, but he was still tired. Seth crossed his arms over his chest, his head tilted back against the wall he was sitting against.~

 

Bakura thought for a moment before ordering Nephri to go down. Nephri floated invisibly about Seth before appearing though only to Kyu. Nephri played a little guessing game with Kyu. First she formed a rod. Then a hand. Then a hand, with the Rod. Then She formed a little chibi Kyu running, and a door. Then She formed A chibi thief Bakura and a plus sign, then her brother Kalin, then an equal sign. Then after that a coyote. Nephri looked exhausted after that but waited to see if Kyu got the message.

 

*Blinks as Nephri had suddenly appeared, Ryou almost jumped but simply tilted his head to the side not knowing really how he was going to get the damn rod from Seth. Sighing softly Ryou stood and walked to Seth sitting next to him, Close enough so they were almost touching shoulders.* "I'm scared." He looked to the ground and kicked his feet slightly.* "When we get out of here..Will you help me look for my mother and father?" *He looked to Seth hopefully.*

 

~ he opened his eyes when he heard the other sit next to him. Seth got up and moved away listening to him~ " I have other things I must attend to." ~ he said simply, he didn't want to get into this, and right now he blamed the boy. He growled a bit and took the sennen rod into his hand and then crossed his arms over his chest again~

 

Bakura smacked hsi forehead. Damn grippy priest. Couldn't he stop touching his rod for just one moment?! No. Had to make it hard for Kyu and him self and keep his hands all over that pretty golden rod shaft. Bakura hmfed. He closed his eyes and tried to think of something that would get the priest to let go. Damn grippy priest. Bakura was watching all of this through Nephri's eyes. They'd need to get the priest to sleep. Oh but how, how would you put a tight wad like that in to a comfortable sleep. Answer would be a spell. But... Ryou couldn't use any thing in the house to cast it, and he doubted the boy would be able to cast any way with out years of self practice or training by a priest. Troublesome. Well Kyu would have to do that part him self. Till Kyu got the rod, Kura couldn't step in.

 

"Cold hearted.." *He looked to Seth and swallowed thickly, choking back fake tears.* "No wonder..My mother and father stayed away from the palace...your all cold hearted bastards...It's not my fault your here..I only asked for help..You just could heve helped me..and my Parents!" *No longer being able to look to Seth he glanced to the ground, than his sandals, closing his mouth for now.*

 

" Not your fault hm? If you weren't so weak then nothing would have happened to your parents because you would have been able to help them on your own. Am I right?" ~ he asked with a glare towards Ryou's direction.~ " And as though I care if people think I am cold hearted, as it is they don't know anything." ~ he added simply, turning his glare to the floor now.~

 

Kura was slamming his head on a rock, "you cold hearted sunofabitch" Kura growled to himself as he saw the priest give a couple cold glares and something that looked really mean. WHY COULND'T HE JUST PASS OUT AND DO US ALL A FAVOR?! Kura screamed in his head. He ran to his house and got a wind instrument and some sand which wasn't that hard to find. Not that hard at all. He sat out side the window and took a deep breath murmuring the sleeping spell. He hoped Kyu would cover his ears. So much he hadn't taught his apprentice. He sighed and poured the sand through his fingers on to the wind instrument before he started to play. This was taking to long.

 

*Twitches one eye Ryou hopped up from his place on the floor and walked to Seth glaring down at him, His parents really had died, that's why he had chose it as a cover story.* "Bastard.." *Drawing his hand over his head he spread his fingers and brought the palm of his hand down against Seth's cheek harshly."

 

~ he had thought he heard something but then his head snapped to the side at the loud resounding smack. He stared across the room in shock. He had never been hit. His eyes were wide and his breath caught in his throat. Seth then turned his head back just in time to hear the sounds from outside again, snarling as he ignored the sound. He knew that spell. Sleeping. This was all a trick he mumbled a counter spell too. He growled and grabbed Ryou's left wrist and spun him around, the dagger of the sennen rod against Ryou's throat~ " I don't know who is working with this boy, but I will kill him if you don't show yourself." ~ he said warningly, he would do it.~

 

Kura swore as he saw what went on. Ok Plan A didn't work and now Kyu was in trouble if he didn't do something. With a sigh Kura pulled another illusion spell. The only things he could nail with perfection. He chose the form of Nephri. Someone he knew the priest hadn't seen before and hopped up on the window. He changed his voice to Nephri's. "Don't hurt my little brother we're sorry we're just.... just we saw you and ... and... we just havn't eaten, we thought perhaps..perhaps...and then the coyotes came and...we're sorry please don't hurt us. Don't hurt my little brother." He said hopeing the act worked.

 

*Wincing, Ryou swallowed hard trying to pull away, before he knew it he saw Nephri at the window.* "Neph.." *Blinking absently he smiled and took at the little trick.* "Sis! Sister get inside!, Get inside a house now! Please!" *He jerked away from Seth reaching for the window.*

 

~ he saw the girl jump in and shook his head. There were coyotes outside not five minutes ago, and that girl scared them off? Seth shook his head and held tighter to Ryou, pressing the dagger up higher, causing a small line of blood to form~ " I am not stupid, what do you take me for?" ~ he asked, not really needing or wanting an answer, growling~

 

"Little brother! Let him go! i take you for a fool if you kill my innocent little brother!" He said like a protective sister. This was so perfect for Kyu to just elbow Seth in the gut and take the knife. But he wasn't sure Kyu would think of that. He hopped in to the room. "I'm Nephenala of the desert, and that's my little brother. The coyotes will be back soon once they finish off the last of our food. I'm sorry little brother it was the only way. Now priest let him go, or is killing innocent children what they teach you in the palace?".

 

*Tilting his head upward Ryou raised himself on the tip of his toes trying to ease the pressure of the dagger at his neck, It was true that taking the rod would be easy, but that would probably get Ryou killed, as uptight as this stick-up-his-ass priest was, Ryou would most likely be bloodied and choking before he could draw an elbow foreword.* "Sis.."
