The year is 3240. In the year 3000, the world of Monsters (of the Duel Monsters card game) and the world of humans became one. The two areas of the planet live in fear of each other, humans in the Northern Hemisphere, monsters in the southern. It doesn’t help that the human population has reached 34 billion. The monsters, only numbering 20 billion, are more powerful, but don’t underestimate the humans. Recently, a few members of each area of the planet have chosen it live in a secret underground society, where monsters and humans get along. But no one could have predicted that soon that the humanoid monsters would breed with humans. Not wanting to be discovered, the monsters were secretly put up for adoption in the human half of the world, due to their appearance. Almost 250 years have passed and the Hybrid population is now around 2000, but no one, not even the hybrids, knew the special powers they had. It’s the 14th birthday of one of the hybrids, Mahaddo Mana, a Dark Magician/human hybrid, and he knows something’s different about him. That’s where the story begins.
