Chapter 3

Seto's POV

I got grumpily out of bed. Cursing whoever was calling at three in the morning.

"What do you want?"

"It's me Yami. Can we out aside out differences for a little while?"

"Why?" I was getting a little worried. Yami asking for friendship in the middle of the night.

"Yugi is in the hospital." I nearly dropped the phone "And there is a note for you an Mokuba"

"I'll be there A.S.A.P."

"OK, I'll wait to call everyone else."

"Why?"

"I don't know their phone numbers. I only know yours because you're the last person I called before the puzzle shattered. I never called anyone else."

"OK. I'll get Mokuba and get over there."

"K" He said and we said our Good byes.

I went to wake Mokuba up. He still was asleep. Oh well. I walked over to his bed and shook him lightly. Didn't wake up. I shook him a little harder. He woke up

"What do you want big brother?" He asked me groggily.

"Get up and get dressed. We are going to the hospital." That woke him up. He fell out of bed! Kinda funny sight. I was sitting on his bed while he was tangled up in blankets on the floor.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Yugi is there."

"OK, give me three minutes." He said as he got up and went over to his dresser. I left to get dressed myself

Yamis POV

I wanted to call everyone else, but decided not to. No one came to Yugi's grandpas funeral. I know you are probably thinking I wasn't there, but I was. I was in the puzzle. But I don't think he realizes it.

After I called Kaiba I went to sit in the waiting room. No one was there. It was deserted. Not really surprising though. It was 3:30 in the morning. So I figured I would get comfy and go to sleep. About half an hour later Seto came walking up with Mikuba holding his hand.

"Any word??"

"No, I called as soon as I got here, save five minutes" I answered.

"is he going to be ok?" Mokuba asked

"I'm sure he will be. Just give him some time." I was trying to reassure Mokuba. But I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't working. I needed to be reassured too. " Yugi is a strong fighter. He will make it throught this. I promise." I ruffled Mokubas hair just like Seto did. He looked at me but didnt do anything because Mokuba and Yugi really got along. And I was trying keep Mokuba happy.

"Oh yea. I almost forgot. Here" I handed Seto the letter, he read it and fell into the chair behind him. His face 6 shades whiter then normal…
