Shadow: Namu woke me up!!

Specter: what the hell is a Namu?!

Namu: I'm a Namu!! And I'm a Chibi too!!

Specter: you look like a six inch high human

Namu: I'm a pixie!!! And I'm a Chibi!!

Shadow: Namu's `so' cute!!!

Specter: I've seen you somewhere before Namu…

Namu: where??

Specter: now I know!!! You're from the dubbed version of YGO that aired on Saturday!!!

Namu: in a human form. My weal name is supposed to be Malik but…Namu was my birth name! ^_^

Shadow: Namu sounds kewler!!

Namu: um…thanks...

Shadow: [huggles Namu] Oh also, Ice Angel & Kitty-N…you wanted to know if I could break up the paragraphs…honestly I don't know how!! They're broken up when I originally type it up but when I upload it, it gets all funky and into giant paragraphs!!! So sorry I tried but there's nothing I can do!!!

Yami stalked down the hallways, his magical aura flaring, <I cannot believe Akira is making me look after that stupid `light'! It will be so embarrassing if anyone sees me in public with him!> (Specter: he's thinking like a girl! Holy Shtick…!)

"Hey Yami…we were wondering where you had gotten to!" said Mai, running up to him, followed by Anzu.

The both hook their arms with his and stood close while walking, "so what did `Akira' want?" Anzu asked with a deep hatred in her voice.

"A new student had arrived and she wants him to board with me and me to show him around," Yami explained through gritted teeth.

"What year is he?" Anzu questioned.

Yami shrugged, "he looks like a first year but I think he may be our level," was his answer.

"Is he nice?"

"Is he cute?"

Yami rolled his eyes, "he's a `light magician.' He's a wimpy little nothing."

Mai wrinkled her nose in disgust, "gross there is actually another `light' mage in this world?! I thought Nefertari was the last one!"

"I wish! This stupid little git is going to disgrace our school name!" he yelled, magical aura blazing. Some people walking by stepped out of his way as not to anger him further; yami was dangerous when he was upset and everyone knew it. Well almost everyone that is…Yugi didn't.

"So what are you going to do about him?"

"I don't know yet. I'll make him wish he'd never come to Khemet though! The little light brat..."

Anzu looked at the ground, "he can't be all that bad…just because he's a light mage," she piped up.

Yami whirled around to face her, his red eyes like molten fire, "how dare you say he can't be all that bad! He `is' all that bad! He's a light for god's sake! He's worthless and weak and we are all superior to him…especially me…being the most powerful magician here! So don't you dare say that!"

Anzu gulped, "s-sorry it's just that…never mind."

Mai chuckled and Yami just kept on stomping down the hallway, leaving Anzu all alone. (Shadow: HAHA Take that you friendly git!! Specter: she's referring to Anzu, by the way!)

Yugi sat on the edge of Yami's bed feeling very depressed. <I do not see why being a light magician makes you a weakling. I bet I'm just as magically strong - if not magically stronger - than half the people here at Khemet!> He sighed, "I don't see why having the element of light makes a difference!" he yelled at the cathedral ceiling of the room.

He got no reply except the echo of his own voice so he slumped back against the bed.

"I wish I was a shadow mage like Yami or a water mage like Akira; then maybe someone would be nice to me instead of telling me how weak I am." (Shadow: POOR YUGI!!!! Don't worry Yugi I think you're a winner!!!)

He sniffled and curled up into a ball, grabbing a nearby pillow and hugging it to his chest. He inhaled the spicy scent surrounding the pillow and sighed at how good it smelled.

<Yami smelt like spices too,> he thought, blushing slightly at the thought of the taller boy. <Even though he was mean to me it was still very nice of him to let me stay in his room. I wonder if he has a soft side?>

Yugi, deep in thought and still hugging the Yami-scented pillow, didn't notice the door opening and someone walking in. He snuggled up against the pillow more and breathed in another close by spicy scent, "smells like Yami…" he whispered, smiling to himself.

Yami peered over the edge of his bed at the half asleep Yugi curled up to his pillow.

"Smells like Yami…" the little one whispered, a small smile playing on his lips.

Yami's eyes narrowed, <what is this I'm feeling?> he thought to himself as a strange emotion crept into his chest; into his heart.

<I suddenly have the strong urge to hold and protect him…But I cannot! He is the `light' and I am the `shadow'…it would be wrong!>

He stared at little Yugi's dozing figure and crawled into the bed beside him, <Ramesses and Nefertari were in love and they were shadow and light…>

Yugi let out a breath and snuggled closer to Yami, still clutching the pillow securely. Yami smiled and propped the other pillow underneath his head. His arms snaked around Yugi's waist and for some odd reason he found himself falling asleep next to the innocent little light. <You do need protection little one. Maybe I shall be the one to give it to you…> with that thought, he closed his eyes and drifted off into a dreamless slumber, unconsciously hugging Yugi to himself and breathing in his intoxicatingly sweet scent, "MMmm Yugi…"

And then he fell asleep for good.

Shadow: let the romance blossom!!!

Specter: YEAH!!!

Shadow: I'll put some fluff in the next chappie for sure!!

Specter: until then you know what to do…review!! Hey I made a rhyme!!

Shadow: WOW HOLY SHTICK YOU DID!! Kewl! My Yami is a doofus but I love him anyways!! Remember…flames will be used in the bonfire to roast my school books because my school lets out for me in…9 DAYS cause I'm graduating!! YEAAAAAHHHH!!! I get to go to high school!!! (Finally) FUN!!!! ^_____^

Specter: U_U She's a little excited!!

Shadow: only a whole lot!! Oh well…flames will also be used to roast Anzu out on a spit in my front lawn!! So HA to Anzu fans!! I hate her cause she's an evil friendship loving biatch!!!!!!!!!!!!

Specter: …don't take her seriously…just REVIEW!!!!

Namu: Yeah weview!!!!
