Chapter 1: A New Face...
'Not today.' The teenaged female thought as a young boy, no older than 6, starts to jump up and down on her bed. "Sissy! Wake up!" He shouted in his high pitched, male voice. "Go away." She mumbled, groggily, as she clutches one of her soft, black satin covered pillo9ws and swung with it knocking the boy off of her bed. "I'm telling mom!" He shouts as he ran out of her room. However, on the way out he trips and falls flat on his face outside her room before jumping up and darting down the stairs.
After about fifteen minutes of stumbling in her dimly lit room that had books and clothes scattered everywhere on the floor she had managed to get to her closet to pull out some clothes for the school day. She still had not received the school uniform that was needed for school so her mother had written her a note that told why she was in 'normal' clothes. Her clothing usually consisted of black like it did today. Black, baggy pants with chains going down to her knees in rows, a black hoodie that concealed her chest, black boots that went on her feet, and lastly, a black cap that she placed on her head after putting her raven black hair up into a messy bun. "Ha, let us see if the people at the school can figure if I'm female or not." She said gleefully.
She quickly goes down the fleet of stairs, jumping the last three, and heads into the kitchen where the sound of running water could be heard. "Morning mom." She says as she pecks her mother on the cheek. "Good morning, Christina. Did you wake up on the right side of the bed this time?" She asks in a kind voice. "Maybe..you never know. It will depend on how the rest of my day goes." Chris states as she snatches one of Sam's precious chocolate poptarts while receiving a glare from her younger sibling.
Sam was Chris's little brother. He had messy black hair that looked as if bugs could be living in it. His chocolate brown eyes were to die for and he could pull off the cutest puppy dog eyes in the world. Okay, maybe not the world but he was pretty cute when he did that. Unfortunately for him, the whole entire family were immune to his charms.
"Well, I'm off." Chris states before popping the last bit of the stolen poptart left in her hands into her mouth and standing up from the chair. "Alright, honey. Don't scare anyone on your first day. That's what got you enemies back in New York." She says as Chris leaves the house, slinging a black bag over her shoulder. "Off to the prison we teens call school." She states as she heads for her destination, Domino High.
