Lin sighed and groaned. "What will Grandmother say to this?!" She picked up Bakura gingerly and slapped his face.
"Ah! Wake up, you lazy bastard!"
Lin's first try was not working. The gypsy girl began to pace. "…I have to…oh boy." She lifted Bakura into the air and ran back to the caravan. Once inside, she laid Bakura upon a bed. She ran to a table, grabbing a basin of water and taking a cloth from an compartment.
"Stupid street rat…this is all your fault." Lin dabbed it against Bakura's forehead.
"Nght?" The white-haired boy awoke. "…Bitch…You almost killed me…"
"Hey. You made a racial slur. You -asked- for it, basically."
"Do shut up, brat."
"Fine. Leave! I don't like you either!"
Lin kicked open the door, glaring at Bakura.
"GET LOST!"
"Gladly!" Bakura shot back at her and toddled away. Now trudging through the empty city, he began to think.
'Well…If I was a damn gypsy…I guess…maybe I wouldn't like being called that either. Aw crap. Now I feel bad."
The devilish tomb robber growled. "I do not want to apologize…ever…but…how the hell do you apologize to a girl?"
He tried to think harder (No, it didn't break his brain.).
"Maybe…she'd like to go tomb robbing with me!" He went back to where Lin lived and knocked on the door.
"Girl! Open up!"
The door slowly opened to reveal the old woman. Up close, her skin was weathered and wrinkled. Her eyes were beady.
This terrified Bakura.
He yelped in surprise and ran off. "SHE'S A WITCH I TELL YOU!"
Lin peeked from behind the old woman. "Grandmother? Who was that?"
Grandmother sighed. "Some odd white-haired boy. You know him?"
Lin nodded, slipping her feet into shoes. "Yeah. I'm going out. Good-bye Grandmother."
She skipped away, looking for the frightened Bakura.
"Hey…street rat? You here?"
"I told you my name was Bakura, girl." Bakura was hiding in a barrel, only his eyes showing at the top.
"And I did tell you my name as well, moron." Lin argued.
Bakura just shook his head. "Look. Sorry. I've never met a gypsy so I don't know what to expect. I can make it up to you. I swear. Join me on a tomb robbing."
"Tonight? Pillage a tomb of a fallen pharaoh?"
"Yes. Exactly. Let's go."
"W…We won't be cursed?"
"Of course not. That part's a load of shit."
Lin nodded, brushing back her dark hair and closing her eyes. "Alright then. I guess I can."

But all was not well. High Priest Seto slept in his chambers for the night. A strange and startling dream kept grip on him like a cat to a mouse.
'High Priest Seto…High Priest Seto! I call to you…!'
'Who is there?' The dream Seto snapped. 'Don't come any closer!'
'High Priest Seto…I, Set, require a woman to bear me a child…I need a young woman…'
'…You wish a woman be sacrificed?'
'That is my plan. If you do so before the moon becomes full, you will be rewarded.'
'If I don't?'
'The Nile…it will flood. I will take your life and the life of Pharaoh Yugi…now do my bidding.'
'Yes, your Divine-ship. I shall…a young, healthy woman…she will be yours.'
And Seto woke up. "…Where the hell am I going to get a woman like THAT in ONE MONTH?!"

Bakura grabbed a torch, entering the pyramid. "Now don't chicken out!"
"Chicken out? Gypsies are known for our courage!" She stepped inside. "But now did I say I followed along with the other gypsies?"
