Tea sighed. Mai had left the mansion this morning, after spending the night. Both of the Kaibas were busy with one thing or another, and Tea was going to be bored until her six o'clock dance practice. She really wanted to just chill out with her boyfriend, especially after telling Mai about what a stellar guy he had turned out to be. She loved him more than anything, especially since the Kaiba family was basically the only family she had. Sure, the gang was great and treated her with respect, but something about Seto Kaiba allowed her to feel safe and protected. She knew it would cause a state of chaos when she went back to Domino, but she didn't care. She was twenty years old, and could make decisions for herself. And anyone with a problem to that knew that they would get their ass kicked.

She smiled as she remembered the day they returned to school after the incident. It wasn't sunny and just warm enough that you wouldn't need a jacket, it was rainy and eighty five degrees fareinheight. She remembered the way he unbottoned the top three buttons of the dress shirt he was wearing, and how he ditched the trenchcoat, knowing that the black cotton was like sudden death.

He had taken her to Dairy Queen, where they both got Moolatees (yumyumyum), and were twenty minutes late for class because they forgot that they had to actually go back to school. Kissing does that to people though.

The highlight of that day, however, was just after the final bell, before her dance practice, which they decided to hold in the rain, just for the hell of it. Kaiba had come up and kissed her, smack dab on the lips, for about three minutes. She knew that had he not sent the principal a death glare they would've had detention. People stared at them as they parted. She smiled at him, running a hand through his messy hair, allowing him to smile back. People never questioned that they were a couple ever since. All of these things told her the same thing over and over.

She was madly in love.

Madly in love with her best friend's archrival.

And she didn't care.

Not one bit.

Pacific blue. It seemed that his eyes reflected that color easily. At least that's how it was lately, ever since she was telling him those three words that he would never grow tired of hearing from her. Hell, any words that were aimed toward him were appreciated. He loved her. And he never thought that love was so empowering. No wonder his company's business was going through the roof. He was somewhat different now, even though she welcomed his arrogant attitude, calling it rather sexy when he used it to charm her. However, she was always captivated by watching him, just sitting on the couch in his study, watching him type endlessly. Anything that confused or angered him, she would note, and let him get it out of his system. Somehow, it didn't bother him that she stared upon him endlessly. He liked the way she looked at him. That wasn't to say he didn't look at her either. Because he did. Especially when the brunette curled up against him and let him envelope her in his arms.

He watched her every movement. Even when he was supposed to be working, if she moved, he noticed, and one eye was trained on her. When she walked out of the room to get them both coffee, he noted how her skirt would bounce at her thighs, and how her long, muscular legs would flex as she moved away for a moment.

Also, there was another thing he liked. Their song. Well, it was a country song, but he loved it. They loved living it out, just for the hell of it. And who wouldn't like a song that had a name, but was deemed "The Hot Tub Song"(Phil Vasser's "I'll Take That as a Yes", and before you ask, I have a fettish with that song.) He would always cherish the fact that his girl was just like that song. She loved wine red roses, and she always made him crazy when she wasn't even trying to turn him on, she just did.

Kaiba leaned back in his large reclining chair. Leaving a day early wouldn't hurt anyone would it? Hell, why did he bother? He should've just taken her with him.

"God, why didn't I think about doing that a week ago?"

---------------------------------------------------------------- ------------

"Goodnight kiddo." Tea ran her hand through Mokuba's hair. She pressed a kiss to the sleeping boy's head. She then slipped out the door. Then she went to her room. She left her, well her room and Seto's, door to the balcony open, allowing the curtains to dance in the pale August moonlight. Slipping off her tee shirt, she put on a skimpy tank top and a pair of her boyfriend's boxers. Then she slid under the sheet that covered their bed, and closed her eyes. The sound of the city had died down. All she could hear was the sound of the occasional car and the crickets that chirped in the garden below.

When he made his way into the bedroom, the first thing he heard was her even breathing, deep and rhythmic. He slid into some more comfortable clothes, a white tee and navy blue cotton pajama pants. He slid in on her side of the bed. He found it rather adorable that she slept on his side of the bed whenever he was out of town. He immediately pulled her into him, taking in the strawberry fragrance that resonated from her hair.

She moaned slightly, her sleeping disturbed. Her eyes snapped open, to realize that two arms that surrounded her. "Seto?"

"Go to sleep, Love, I don't care what time it is."

She yawned, leaning back into his chest. He tightened his grip on her, kissing her hair.

"Night babe."

"Night."

--------------------------------------------- ----------------

Light poured into the room at seven am, causing Tea to wake up. Her boyfriend however, was sleeping like a baby. The guy had come home a little earlier, just to sleep,(no one is allowed to be perverted) with her. She was rather content, staying here with the big guy, seeing as she was the human teddy bear that he preferred above the rest. Which, if the reader couldn't tell, wasn't that bad.

She felt him move at about nine am, signaling that he was awake. She usually had been out for a run, come back and started to make breakfast at this point, but today, she was still in his arms.

"You awake?" Seto Kaiba whispered softly. Her back was to him.

"I've been." She rolled herself over and looked into his eyes. "Did you miss me?"

"More than you could imagine."

"Same here." She felt his lips hit hers, causing a full out make out session. Needless to say, both enjoyed that a lot. Then Tea had to start something."You need a mint."

"I just woke up."

"Ahh, but there's a problem, see I have the last mint we've got." Tea had it in her hand, considering where she got it was from the small dish next to her bed, on the night stand. "And," Tea brought it to her mouth, "It's mine now." She put it into her mouth, savoring the wintergreen flavor. "Unless you'd like to get it from me."

"Don't ask me twice, Love." Tea laughed. He nearly tackled her, pinning her to the bed, her blue eyes wide with shock and laughter. She immediately grasped both of his hands with her own, and rolled over so that she was on top of him, her messy chocolate hair all over the place. He merely grunted.

"You're just bloody mad that I--" Tea's sentence was in the most joking English accent. It seemed authentic, like she had been the sister of Ryou Bakura. However, she was not, and therefore, Seto Kaiba kissed her cherry lips right then and there, and when he pulled away, an ingenious smirk covered his features.

"I win, Love. Care to play again sometime?" Tea's tongue searched her mouth frantically.

"You bastard. You stole my mint!" She then rolled over to the edge of the bed, throwing the sheets behind her with a flourish, and went into the bathroom that they shared, coming out with a toothbrush, which she used and then put back. She then got back in bed with the nineteen year-old CEO. She figured she should tell him. "Seto, Mai came over the other day."

"She did, did she?" His joking voice turned semi, and very hotly serious. The way his eyes trained on hers caused her to be lost in him. It gave her this lightheaded feeling, like she could pass out.

"Yeah." She paused, taking a deep breath and continued. "She knows about us."

"Tea--" His voice was a warning call. She really wanted to avoid an argument.

"Hear me out. She wasn't upset. Surprised, yes, but she was happy for me. And she promised not to tell until we were ready to do it ourselves."

"Tea, this is going to be hard. I know you like Yugi and that mutt, and their friends, but you've barely talked to them."

"I know that, but I really think that I should let them know. You don't have to be their friends or anything, hell, we're really distant. But I know they still care about me. And I really don't want to keep them from knowing about us. I don't want anyone to be waiting on me to make their dreams come true."

"You mean that Yugi might still have that rather apparent crush on you?"

"Definitely." Tea saw him begin to tense up in the shoulders, so she put both her hands on them, waiting for him to relax. He wasn't, and she was getting afraid. She saw the doubt in his eyes. Then he wouldn't look at her. "Seto, look at me."

He didn't. Tea knew what this was about. He didn't want to lose her, because other than her and Mokuba, he had no purpose for life. This is what the typical Kaiba was like. On the outside, he was a strong person, but on the inside, he was a scared little boy who was afraid to lose what little he had. She knew there was only one way to fix this. So she lowered herself into the sheets, her blue eyes looking up at his.

"You're the only person in the world that I want, and you should know that. I am yours." Her voice was a soft whisper, like that of a river flowing down it's course.

"Do you mean that?"

"Seto Kaiba, I've meant that for a year now. I'd follow you to the ends of the earth. I'm madly in love with you. No one else could do what you do. No one else even comes close." He was obviously touched by her words. More than usual. He knew he had to do something about that. But for now he settled for both arms around her waist, pulling her up into him, and a kiss who's passion nearly knocked out the two lovers. He would never question that girl again. She was too damn good for him.

----------------------------------------

2:33 pm EDT

Later that day, Kaiba was wandering the streets of New York City. Mokuba was with him, rather curious about what his brother's motive was. He was being way too sneaky.

"Seto, what is so important about this?" Mokuba asked, annoyed. "We've been walking all over town and you've said a total of seven words. I counted."

"Sorry kid, there's just a lot on my mind."

"Did you and Tea fight or something?"

"No. It's just..."

"Seto, it's just what?"

Seto leaned down and whispered something into Mokuba's ear. He nodded, eyes wide and filled with excitement. That's when they went to go talk to the people who run Kaiba Corp's jets. There was going to be a lot of issues in the near future. That's why they decided to get it over with.

--------------------------------------------

That night~11:30 pm edt

"Ready?" The voice was a whisper. A very soft whisper.

"Yeah. Rowland has the limo waiting."

"I'll get her, you go open the door."

"Alright." There was a shuffle in the darkness and a figure slipped into the bedroom. He quickly slid his arms under her, lifting her up into his arms. She moaned, eyes opening halfway.

"Shhh. Go back to sleep." The girl in his arms snuggled up to him, apparently unaware of the shift of her sleeping location. His heart flip flopped. That girl had that effect on him.

"I love you." Kaiba immediately smiled. She had a sixth sense when it came to him. He swore that to be the case. She smiled in her sleep. He carried her down the stairs bridal style, and easing her into the limo. Suitcases were loaded into the limo and it sped off into the night.

----------------------------------------

They were on the plane, at the present time. They still had about fourteen hours left to travel, and Kaiba was still half awake. The girl next to him was still sleeping like a young child, cuddling up to him for warmth. He draped a blanket covered in blue eyes over her sleeping form and returned to his thoughts.

God, what do I do? I know she wants to tell them, but I doubt they'll understand, considering the fact that I was once the enemy? I don't give two shits about what they think, but she does. And that's the problem. If they cause her any pain over this, I don't think I'd be able to live with myself.

Unless....that's it! I've got it. Why don't we play it cool for awhile, at least around them, and break it to them gently? That would be great. Then they wouldn't rip anyone's heads off when they find out.

Mai. MAI! Shit! What do I do about her? If she told that boyfriend of hers, Wheeler, I don't think I'll be able to keep this up. And if she does, I think I'll kill her.

God, I hope this works out. I don't want to lose her. I'm so damn close too. Way too damn close.

That brings me to the next issue I have. Where, when, how and what way? This is going to be a long night. I might as well sleep on it.

Fifteen minutes later.

Jesus Christ, this isn't going to go away. Ever. Not until I do it. But it's too soon right now. How much longer will I have to wait?

----------------------------------------------

" Let's do this."

"Yes Mr. Himataru. We'll be ready. On the south side."

"Yes. This will be executed perfectly the first time. We have no room for failure. I want him by the first of the month."

"Yes sir."

"Oh and Ray?"

"Yes Sir?"

"Make sure those boys of mine suffer. Do what my cousin, MalKida couldn't."

"You have my word."

"I knew I could count on you. Now go."

"Yes Sir!"

---------------------------------

When he woke up, Kaiba didn't even realize that he fell asleep. He felt relaxed in all, but it wasn't like he had a dream. He was just kind of out of it. The girl next to him was starting to stir, obviously not sleeping well either. She was moaning, squirming a little bit. She shuddered, trembling as though she were cold, an icy sweat glazing her body. Seto knew he should wake the girl up before she started yelling, as tears began to pull down her cheeks.

Tea was very vulnerable in her sleep, Kaiba had noted, considering the effects of the night before. He shook her, making her stir a little more, trying to get her out of that black void that sleep created. Suddenly, her eyes opened up, puffy and tear-filled. The girl still shook like she was freezing and was completely unaware of her surroundings. Seto saw this, quickly grabbing the girl, holding her tightly, her small frame nearly lost in his shirtless torso.

"God, th-that w-wasn't fun. I was so s-scared." She whispered the words into his neck, where her head laid on his shoulder.

"It's over now, I promise."

"No. It isn't." Tea was trying to maintain a slower heartbeat, though she was fearful. "Seto, I have a question. And I really need you to answer it honestly."

"What?"

"Is your father still alive?"

"There's a possibility." Seto was always resentful toward every father figure he had, and his voice demonstrated it as such.

"Great. Just great."

"What now? It's not like you dreamed that he was going to come and kill us all or something."

The girl looked at him dully.

"You seriously believe that?"

"I dream about things before they happen, Mr. High Priest."

"I told you that I don't believe in that hocus pocus magic crap, Tea."

"Love is that 'hocus pocus magic crap,' Seto."

"You've got to be kidding."

"Don't you wish." Tea turned around and faced the other way.

"Tea...." It was a fake whine.

"Seto...." Tea whined right back at the CEO, who was acting like a little boy. "I thought I was only two months older than you, not fifteen years." She laughed at the comment, and her laughter sparked something in the older Kaiba, causing him to laugh too. Tea turned and faced him staring incredulously.

"That was a good one--" Mokuba started, obviously woken up by the two losers that were making too much noise in the same room as him.

"HEY WAIT A SECOND! I AM NOT A FIVE YEAR OLD!" Kaiba yelled.

"No, I'm sorry, you aren't." Tea said, looking at Mokuba before continuing, "You're now the equivalent to Joey Wheeler." The girl and the raven haired boy fell onto the carpeted floor of the jet, laughing harder than ever before. Kaiba sat there, waiting for them to finish, a slight tinge of red crossing his cheeks. This was really embarrassing, especially since everyone was against him.

"That's it Tea, you're going back to sleeping in your own bedroom." Tea looked at the CEO, a small competitive look on her face. Mokuba looked at the two of them and realized that he would need to hurl if he stuck around any longer.

"I'm going to the bathroom." Mokuba speedily left the room.

"Okay Seto," She said, moving closer to the CEO.

"Shit." He said, noticing the small butterfly kisses that followed his neck. That was his weak spot, and hers as well.

"You're going to lose, you know that, right?" Her voice was a soft droning sound made against the boy's neck between kisses. Then, she had placed a searingly hot one right below his left ear, causing the only response from the boy to be a moan of pleasure. Then she whispered something in his ear, causing a rather interesting response from the nineteen year old CEO. He nodded, and pulled her over on top of him, and kissed her lips affectionately.

"Okay Love, I changed my mind."

Tea laughed.

"No, what I just said changes everything." The girl looked around. "Where are we, Seto?"

"A jet."

"Oh. A JET? And where would our destination be?"

"Domino." Tea squealed with delight, seeing her clothes in suitcases nearby. She went over to the red one, and opened it up.

"I hope you love Mae, because you owe her."(get it?)

"That's why I brought her with us."

"I love you so much!" She said, giving the boy a quick kiss on the lips. She then went to the bathroom door. "Mokuba, we're done now, you can come out."

The boy came out, Tea grabbed a suitcase and went in, to shower and dress. In the meantime, Seto figured it was time for a brotherly chat.
