Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Fallen Stars ❯ Chapter 1
Okay, loves. Thank you for clicking on my story, and please remember to leave a review with any questions, comments, or suggestions in it for me. Things will begin to explain themselves throughout the story. Well, read on and, hopefully, enjoy!
**************************** = Scene change
Midnight, Domino City...
The streets are dark and empty. The air is cold, and streetlamps are few and far between. This is a glimpse of Domino as few know it. The moon hangs in the sky, a silver crescent on a plane of inky darkness
A young woman walks down the streets without purpouse. The few people who are out at this time pay no mind to this foreign invader. They are too wrapped up in their worries and trivial lives to pay any attention to her, despite the fact that her aura is laced with power and darkness.
She turns down an alleyway, and dissappears from sight...

The Next Morning, Katsuya Residence
Jou groaned as the first few rays of morning light roused him from his peaceful slumber. Silently, he got up and dressed himself. He crept down the hall, for fear of waking his father, who was asleep in his room. He ran out the door and onto the streets as fast as he could, knowing that if his father caught him, he would be in trouble for sure.
He wandered into the park, and laid down on the dew-moist grass. He stared up at the gray-blue sky, as he thought to himself, 'What'll happen today? It seems like somethin always has to happen to me, and, more often than not, it's bad.' He sighed. "Oh well, deal with and mo-ove on."
"Do you always talk to yourself, and interrupt other people's solitude, or is this a special occasion?" Remarked a voice that seemingly came from nowhere.
"Whoa, who said that?!" Joey exclaimed as he sat up as fast as he could. He was used to being alone, not many people came to the park at this hour.
"I did," said a young woman as she stood up and walked over to him. She had long ebon hair, that cascaded over her shoulders gracefully, alabaster skin, blood red lips, and percing green eyes that searched your soul as you spoke, or so it seemed. Her voice was cold, and had a hard edge to it. Under her skin, lean and limber muscles made their presence known, giving her the look of someone who learned to survive by fighting on the streets.
"And you are?" Jou inquired. He had met many people who had lived on the streets for their entire lives, yet none looked like her. She was beautiful, dangerously so, with a hard edge to her. Who was this... seductress, for lack of a better word to describe her, and why was she here?
"Why should I tell you? Give me one good reason, and perhaps I will." She answered, taunting him.
'Hm... If she won't tell me just because I asked, maybe flattery will work.' He thought to himself. She looked like she would be a dangerous opponent in a fight, and she was obviously smart. If they had met under better circumstances, he would've liked to get to know her. Now, he simply thought that she was rude and openly hostile without cause.
"Well, you seem to be really smart, and I'd like to know your name because of that." He replied as he smirked.
She laughed a bit, then smirked. "My name is Hasana Definia. Remember that." She said as she began to walk away. She paused, and the faced him again, "By the way, disguise your flattery better next time. You're horrid at manipulating the situation to get your way." Then, she was gone as quickly as she had arrived.
"Well, what the hell was that about?" Jou wondered to himself as he began to meander the town again. He met up with his friends later that day, and forgot about the strange young woman he had met earlier.
End Chapter One...################################################################### div>
Now then, reviews would be highly appreciated, because I need to know what you readers think so I can improve! The entire point of this chapter was to introduce two of the characters to eachother, and I think it sucks. Later I will do a MAIJOR rewrite of this chapter, but, until then, it remains as is.
By the way, since I am so easily distracted by other things and ideas, if I don't update for a while, please send me an e-mail to remind me to work on this fic. That is, if it's not too much to ask.
Well, life seems to be good here. As always, Flames are used to make S'mores, and and those are eaten by my Moukuba muse. Have a good day!!
