Fantasy
A dream is a fantasy that plays itself out as you sleep. People treasure these acts, depend on them to keep their sanity intact during the waking hours. Yugi Moto never dreamed. Even as he fell to unconsciousness under the light of the familiar moon, his mind did not dream. Instead, he would walk the long stone passageway to his other room, his spirit room, though he didn't stay there. Across the hall was Yami.
For hours they would sit. Perhaps the deck would be produced, but no games were played. Sometimes they talked but mostly they were just together.
Looking out his window, Yugi watched the first flakes of a winter snow waft down. With a smile he squashed the childish hope that there would be no school the next day for the grass was still green and the news predicted only a dusting. Adjusting his fleece pajamas he slipped under the cool covers of his bed, carefully arranging the millennium puzzle so it could not become a problem if he shifted during sleep.
Feeling the familiar compression of the pillow under his head and seeing the white textured patters of the ceiling fill his vision, he drifted off.

The archway was crafted from gray stone, ahead of it lay the hallway that led to his destination. There was a cool wind blowing and voices mumbled in the quiet. All of them were familiar and there was no fear. His steps echoed off the walls as he made his way in the dim orginless lighting. He didn't think of why this world existed here or why he was in it, it had ceased to matter long ago but he thought perhaps it was inside the puzzle.
Two doors, one on each side. To the right was his room, memories stored from childhood, toys and pictures. It was warm but empty. A soundless frozen container of times past. On the left was Yami's room. Its steel door closed tightly over the darkness it held. There was nothing warm except the man who dwelled there. It was to the left that Yugi turned.
Placing a hand to the door he was surprised at the absence of recognition.
/Yami?/
There was no response, it worried him. Pressing against the smooth door he entered the room. He was sure he was not expected.
There in the center were Yami and the Dark Magician, looking strange with his headdress discarded and his eyes closed. A blue light from above illuminated a circle around them and threw odd shadows from their forms as they held each other close, engaged in a passionate kiss and oblivious for a moment more.
Then it changed. Yami suddenly stepped back, his hands falling off the other man and to his sides. His eyes were worried but not from the fact of being caught, for that really didn't matter to him, he had felt something. There existed a permanent bond between himself and his other self, now pain and grief surged through it. Stepping around the Dark Magician he approached the boy frozen just inside the door, eyes wide and body trembling.
"Aibou?" Yami questioned.
The boy swallowed, hands clutching at the soft fabric of his pajamas, looking incredible young.
"Excuse me," he whispered in a strangled tone, the words coming only from habit as his mind was unable to form any original thought. Escaping from Yami's worried stare he fled the room, running out into the darkness alone.

Notes: Well, this gives an illusion of going places its not, but I make no excuses. This is going to be a threesome, and what three characters have we seen so far? It'll work...just think about it....
Anyway, if you wanna see the fun, you gotta review 'cause what's the point of writing a perfectly good lemon if nobody's gonna read it?
