Chapter 10: Whom do I really love???

After a run-in with Bakura again…Serena and Shuree have a talk about the men in their lives.

As Serena and Atemu sleep, Bakura has come back to see Serena, still unaware of what he is going to find. But once again, is thwarted by Shuree, `Why does she get in my way?' Bakura asks himself, he has now decided to ignore her and get what is his, "Bakura!! What are you doing? I thought I told you to leave them alone!" Shuree yells, this time Bakura is very curious as to what she means now, he wants to get to the bottom of this, "That fool better know of claimed her and she is mine." Bakura says as he pushes Shuree out of the way. But this time it was Serena who gets in his way, now in a nightgown with long sleeves, Serena looks Shuree then Bakura trying to think of what to say, "Shuree? Why are you making so much noise out here?" Serena asks her sister. Shuree smiles and puts her hands on her hips and looks at Bakura, "Well, we don't need men like you to ruin our lives with the men we love." Shuree says. Serena suddenly becomes tense as what to she says; clearing knowing that her sister must know that she and Atemu slept together, "Shuree would you go back home? You must have been drinking again." Serena says trying to get her out of here. Shuree runs up to her sister a pulls her back in the house, shutting the door before Bakura can get in, "Hey wench!! Open this door this instant!" Bakura yells outside.

Inside the living room, Serena starts arguing, "Have you lost your mind completely?? What are you doing?" her says. Shuree smiles and gives her a hug, "I am happy for you, I know you think you had a moment of weakness and slept with Atemu, but he is the one you need to be with, not Bakura." Shuree happily says. Serena grabs and starts shaking her, "Shuree!!! What's wrong with you?" but Shuree smiles at her. "We are with the men we love, why aren't you happy? Don't you feel anything for Atemu, you two made love?" Shuree says. Serena turns away for a minute then realizes that Bakura is probably either trying to get in the back way or listening in. So Serena rushes in to see if the window is open, unfortunately it is, but she sees no Atemu. "Shuree!! Go see if he is still out there." Serena tells her. Shuree just sighs and goes to look outside, Bakura was sitting on a rock away from the house and is now approaching her, "I never said you could come in, I was just told to see if you were still out here" she says before slamming the door.

Serena is still looking for Atemu and notices that the bathroom door is closed, she opens it to find a naked Atemu about to take a bath, "Oh I am sorry, I didn't mean to come in without knocking." Serena says. But Atemu smiles and offers his hand out, "No need to be sorry, you can join me" he says. Serena shakes head and runs out the bathroom and into the living room, only to run into Shuree who was at the door, "Come on, Bakura can wait, you need to take a bath anyway, you obviously don't want him to know that you slept with Atemu." Shuree says. Serena starts to push her out the house when she stops her, "No, we need to talk" she says as she sets herself down.

Still waiting outside Bakura now decides to go through the back when the door opens and it is Serena this time that comes out. "About time you got rid of her. Now I would like to come in." Bakura says. But Serena just walks up to him and smiles, "Apparently, she seems drink again, so I have to take care of her. She is sorry for what she said and acting like an idiot, she must of got dumped by Seto." Serena says. Bakura waves it off and goes on his way, "I will come back then, when she not there for me to chop her head off. But tell me something what did she mean by leave `them' alone? Who else is in there with you?" Bakura asks. Serena then looks at the house to make sure Atemu doesn't come out, "I have no clue, like I said she is drunk and I don't know what she has been doing, so I will figure that out later" she says. Bakura nods and leaves as Serena goes back inside.

Shuree is now drinking some tea as Atemu comes out in nothing but pants, "Shuree, I didn't know you were here," he says. Serena finally comes back inside only to gasp when she sees Atemu, "Oh she is not well and I need to talk to her. You can go back in the room, ok?" she says. Atemu goes back inside as Shuree smiles at him then Serena; "I am glad you came to your senses and sent that thief on his way. So what are you and Atemu doing today?" Shuree says. But Serena takes her cup and sets it down, looking very angry, "Shuree, Bakura left because I simply told him that you were drunk and that might of got dumped but Seto, again. So he left and is coming back. Now and Atemu will be leaving soon, but you I am going to have to take care of." Serena says. Shuree jumps up and grabs her sister, "I am drunk!! Why you tell him that!! And what do you mean `again' he never dumped me to begin with. I can't believe that you lied and told him that just to keep him from knowing that Atemu is here" she yells. Serena sighs and sits her down, "Look I am going to take a quick shower, keep you mouth shut when Atemu comes out here to leave, you hear me?" but Shuree stops her, "Why are you sending him away?" Serena was not having any of it and goes back in the bedroom.

Atemu was sitting on the bed looking out the window, "How are you feeling?" he asks, Serena nods and goes to get some clothes, "I am going to take a quick shower, I have to talk to Shuree if that is ok with you?" she asks. Atemu gets up and put a shirt on, "That's ok, I have to go home anyway, but I will come back to see you, ok?" he says as he leaves.

Shuree is now looking out the window when he sees the door open and it is Atemu coming out, "You not leaving are you?" she asks. Atemu nods as he puts his jacket on, "Yeah I have to go home anyway but I will be back" he says. Shuree smiles and runs over to give him a hug, "Ok take you time, but come back ok" she says as Atemu looks at her confused. Once he leaves, Shuree goes into Serena's bedroom and finds her sitting on the bed, "I thought you were taking a shower?" Shuree asks. Serena then looks at her a little sad, "I really don't know what to do now. I have been with both the men I love." Shuree looks shocked at what she just said `both men', "Serena? You mean you already lose your virginity to Bakura?" she says in a shaky voice. Serena nods and she gets up and opens the window, "I have realized that I love both of them now. It's just the feeling for them is different and I don't know what to do. Or how I going to tell them that I love the other." Serena says as she starts crying. Shuree sets her down as she kneels in front of her, "Look, I think it is best that you are with Atemu, I mean what is Bakura going to give you, a bunch of stolen jewelry?" Shuree says. Serena turns away and starts to cry, "Me and Bakura have known each other since we were children, but Atemu is the only one who will listen to me and he gives me and shoulder to cry on, but I love him as much as I love Bakura and I just had a moment of weakness with him that's all." Serena says. Shuree just looks at her after that comment, "Well then that means you had a moment of weakness with Bakura too" she says. Serena blushes and shakes her head, "I really don't know now. I know I shouldn't have slept with Atemu," she says. Shuree stands up and looks away, "Is that because you two were supposed to wait until you were married?" she asks. "No, I mean, I don't know, a part of me wanted to and he wanted to as well. It was late when Bakura came in and he gave me a gift and we just went from there. It's all confusing me and with you acting stupid for what ever reason is not helping me at all." Serena says. Shuree then smiles and pulls her from the bed, "I finally know what Seto feels for me, and if it weren't for Mokuba coming in, we might of made love for the first time" she says, Serena looks wide-eyed at her hearing that, "What? You mean you almost…." Serena smiles a little at that, "Well I am happy for you." Serena says. Shuree hugs her and kisses her on the forehead, "I want you to be happy to, but I think it would best to be with Atemu and not Bakura," she says "You are not my mother, I will just figure out I will do once I take a shower and get some more sleep." Serena says before going into the bathroom.

Shuree leaves taking a sandwich with her, unaware that Bakura AND Malik are here again, "Stop drooling, you can't compete with Seto." Bakura says. But Malik ignores him, "Oh like you can compete with the pharaoh, you better keep your mouth shut," he says. The two get into a staring contest until Malik leaves to follow Shuree, once gone Bakura makes his way into the back of the house as Serena starts a bath. He notices that the bed is a mess and takes that to mind as he approaches the bathroom. Serena has undressed and is about to get in when she hears the door open, "Atemu? I thought you left?" Serena says, but when she turns to see if it was actually Atemu, she jumps back only to back into the tub, "Atemu??? What do you mean? Why was he here…so is that what you sister meant? He was here with you, huh." Bakura says as he approaches her, removing his clothes.
