Chapter 14: I have decided…but will he be able to take it?

Serena finds out who the father is and decides whom she wants to be with, while Atemu and Seto take each sister's problems off their shoulders….But is there another problem once the truth is out? WARNING!! LIGHT LEMON!!

Serena stands there scared, afraid that everyone will come out and see her with Bakura, but having some shred of respect, Bakura takes off before anyone can see him, "Who's here!! Who's out here!" Seto yells out rushing to the door, but when he makes it there, it is no one but Serena who takes a breathe and smiles, "Sorry about that, it was Shuree's ex-boyfriend and he wanted to see Shuree and I was trying to get him out of here until Shuree came out and chased him off" she says. Shuree breathes a sigh of relief and turns and smiles to the group, "Sorry about that, so can we get back to dinner?" she says. Serena joins them and all it good…or is it.

Bakura comes back to the house, fuming, "I will not lose to that fool! I will not! There has to be a way to see if that child is mine" he says as he is now joined by someone he doesn't want to see right now, "See, what did I tell you? You can't compete with Atemu, who is soon to be pharaoh. But if you really love that girl you should let her be with him, especially seeing she might have your child when you have no way of taking care of it." Malik says. Bakura turns around and punches him in the face, "I don't have the time or energy to deal with you today unless you plan on helping me with this, get out of my face." Bakura says. Malik gets up from the ground holding his mouth, "Gee man, you didn't have get hostile with me, I am just speaking the truth. But I will help if I can, but don't you think Serena will figure out a way to see who the father is. I mean if she doesn't know she will find a way, to find out which one of you is the father" he says, Bakura chuckles and smiles figuring she will `Yes she will and I will be there to find out who it is.'

The group has finally finished dinner, Serena leave first and goes into the bedroom followed by Atemu, "Come on Jouno, we should help the others and get going." Shizuka says. As they clean up, Serena and Atemu are cuddling in front of the window as Serena looks at the moon, "Are you ok now?" Atemu asks, Serena smiles and turns around to hug him, "Yes I will be find, but I need you to do something for me, help them out for a minute and call Shuree in, I want talk to her about something…you know a girl talk that's all" she says. Atemu smiles and kisses her before leaving, "Shuree? Your sister wants you," he says before helping the others out.

Serena is now crying again as Shuree enters the room, "Serena what is wrong?" she asks, Serena runs to her sister and hugs her crying, "I don't know what to do, I don't know who the father is?" she says. Shuree sets her down on the bed, "Ok calm down, you have eaten and now you have some energy now so try and remember who you was with in that time before today" she says. Serena thinks for a minute and looks out the window, " I don't know, think I was with Bakura was that time" she says but notices that Shuree is looking away from her, "Well, now I will help you figure out a way to get a blood test done," she says, Serena looks angry for a minute but doesn't say anything and agrees, "Yes I think I will ask my doctor to do it and give a reason why, like taking precautions or something." Serena says, Shuree looks sad, hoping that Atemu will be the father, getting a headache in the process. The guys finally finish up and Jouno and his sister have left as well as Mai, the only ones left to leave are Yugi, Seto, Shuree and Atemu, "Hey big brother? Are you staying here?" Yugi asks, Atemu smiles as he pours some tea, "Yes I am. Serena has been stressed lately and I want to be with her. Especially now that she is pregnant, I need to be with her a lot now," he says. Yugi smile, hoping this will go well and he can be happy with her, even if she in love with Bakura `I know he will still stay with her, he will fight for her if and when he finds out.' Yugi says to himself as he leaves. Seto stands there, watching Atemu, "So I guess I should get going…I don't want to hear you guys.' Seto says with a smile.

Back with the sisters, Serena is now in a gown as Shuree gets her bed ready, "I have to go home now, hopefully Atemu will stay with you and please don't kick him out." Shuree says, Serena smiles and nods her head, "I wasn't going to, I need to be with someone" she said, but Shuree laughs at her, "You mean you need to be with Atemu, right?" Serena nods her head and heads toward the bathroom, "Well I will talk to you tomorrow, and by then I should have a way to find out who the father is." Serena says. Shuree waves goodbye and leaves, "Well I am gone now, Atemu I will talk to you later, ok?" she says, but then she notices that Seto is there too smiling at her, "I will walk you home if that is ok, you seem tired and I don't want that ex of yours to jump you," he says, Shuree smiles as they leave.

Atemu comes in with some tea and finds Serena now sitting on her bed looking out in space, "Serena? I brought you some tea to calm you down," he says, Serena is thinking to herself not knowing that Atemu is there;

`Who is the father?'

`Was I with Atemu at that time or Bakura?'

`I only remember Bakura or was that time in the tub, that was so long ago though'

`But even if it is his, he would be able to take care of it.'

`And if it is Atemu, Bakura might kill him and the baby'

Serena keep thinking and was about to come to the conclusion until she felt a hand on her shoulder, "Serena? Are you ok?" he asked, but Serena looks at him and smiles, "I don't know what to do, but I do know I don't want to be alone" she says to herself as she passionately kisses Atemu, putting down the tea. Atemu returns the kiss and removes her gown, lowering her on the bed, "I am glad we can be together tonight. I love you and I am glad we are going to have a family together." Atemu says as he begins to caress her breast as Serena removes his shirt, "I love you too, Atemu. And I am glad that we are going to have a family." Serena says finally happy as she rubs his erection, listening to his moans.

Elsewhere, Seto and Shuree have finally made to her place, "Well thank you for walking me home, I appreciate it." Shuree says, but Seto just smiles at her, "Well I wanted to help you relieve all that stress you have with your sister, don't think you and some other are the only ones who know about her little tryst with a thief," he says. Shuree looks at him shocked but not for long as Seto pushes her into the house and pins her to the wall, slamming the door behind her, "Seto? Shouldn't you be going home?" Shuree asks as Seto begins to nibble on her neck, "No I told you I was going to relieve you of all this stress." Seto says. Shuree smiles as she enjoys the feel of on his lips on her, she removes his jacket as they make their way toward her bedroom and in one sweep, Seto lifts up her dress, leaving her with noting but her undergarments. As they lay down, Seto removes her bra and starts to suck on her nipples, "I am going to make this a night to remember," he says as he unzips his pants, removing them and his boxers, Shuree stares at his member, licking her lips in anticipation, "Me too" Shuree says as she begins to lick and suck on it, watching Seto's reaction as he grabs a handful of hair and guides her up and down…That night both the sisters were happy, despite everything that has been happening for the past month.

The next day, Serena and Shuree take Atemu with them to the clinic, "Why am I coming again?" Atemu asks, Serena smiles but is nervous at the same time, "Well I want to get some information about this pregnancy and I thought you should be there with me," she says. As they make their way to the clinic, Serena remembers her conversation with her doctor but is unaware that Bakura is following them;

Flashback

"So you want me to take a blood test on you and him to see if the baby is his or not? Why?" the doctor ask, Serena looks away, "Yes I had a little…well I mean I am between two men and I don't know who the father is, if it turns out that he is not then I know who it is. But I have decided to have a life with Atemu and the baby…even if it is not his." Serena says. The doctor looks at her but smiles, "Ok I will do this, I will say it is just to make sure you guys don't have anything that could harm the baby" he says as Serena smiles, leaving to go get Atemu and Shuree, not knowing that Bakura heard the whole conversation.

End of Flashback

Finally in the doctor's office, Serena got a check up and her blood taken as well as Atemu's, "I really don't know why he has to check me too, I don't have anything." Atemu says, Shuree has made it back with some water for Serena, "Oh don't worry this is just some routine thing that doctors do when a baby is involved." Shuree says. Serena leaves to go see the doctor only to notice that she is being followed, but as she looks around, she sees no one but runs into her doctor, "Don't worry I will send notice once we get the results" he says, Serena nods her head and heads back to the others, "Ok we can go now, the doctor says we are both ok." Serena says with a smile, Shuree gets up to leave, "Well I should get going, I am going to come back her I want to see if I can work here" she says as she leaves.

Atemu and Serena make it home with Serena stopping before they go inside, "Atemu, before we go in I need to tell you that I must tell you something, but I want to wait until the moment is right," she says as Atemu looks at her confused, "…Ok…" he says as they go in. Once inside, Bakura comes from behind the bushes and makes his way to the back, but sees Shuree running to the house for some reason.

Inside, Serena and Atemu sit at the table as Shuree comes in with a piece of paper, "Here you go Serena, this is what you were waiting for right?" Shuree says with no emotion, Serena takes that to mind and thanks her before she leaves then looks at Atemu, "Ok…Now I can tell you…" Serena says as she looks down.

"A long time ago, I met a man, well boy really, and he was badly injured and his village as well as his family was destroyed. From that point on, I took care of him, nursed him back to health, as we grew up I started to have feelings for him, he left when we were 18 and I never saw him again." Serena started, Atemu looked at her and frowned, "So that means you loved this man right?" he asks, Serena nods her head and continues, "Yes I did, but then you came along and I fell in love with you too. At that time I forgot all about him and wanted to be with you, until I saw him again and the feelings resurfaced, and from then on, I didn't know what to do or who I loved more, it was all confusing, everything was." Atemu looked at her sad, "So does this mean you have been with this man?" he asked her as she started to cry, seeing that Atemu looks away for a minute, "Who is this man?" Serena looks at him wide eyed, "Does it matter, I am with you now" she says, but Atemu grasps her hands hard, "I need to know, so I can fight back, and I need to know who the father is, if it not me." Serena takes a deep breath, "It is someone you hate, that I really didn't know you did, until he came back because you never mentioned him." Serena begin. Atemu looks back at her, `someone…I…hate' then it dawned on him that the only man he has hated…was none other than…Bakura. Atemu gets up from his seat and looks away, "Bakura?? It was Bakura that you have been with? Where is he?" Atemu says, Serena stops him, "Yes it was, but I didn't know who I loved more, I knew that I loved you both, but in different ways." Atemu finally looks at her and smiles, "I love you, no one else and if this mean I have to fight to have you then so be it. But I need to know...who do you love and who is the father?" he says.

Outside, Bakura is looking in the window listening when he hears someone behind him, but he sees no one. Back inside, Serena looks at the paper then balls it up and looks at Atemu, "I love you and Bakura, but I want to be with you, I want to have a family with you." Serena says, Bakura starts to fume listening to this `NO! I will NOT lose to him!' he says to himself. Atemu looks at her and holds her, "So does this mean…" Serena finally smiles, "You are the father." Outside, Bakura is now angry ready to go inside when he hears someone laughing in the background; it is Malik who is looking at him with a big wide grin, "What did I tell you…you cant compete against the pharaoh" he says, Bakura leaps at him and slams him into the wall and walks away, "I refuse to lose, I will get her back and she will be mine!"
