"Wake up, a new day has risen, it is time for you to wake up."
"Ughhhhhh…" Chione replied to the unknown person, who was currently raising the shade, and letting the strong bright Egyptian sun fill the room. Chione, rather than getting up, merely turned over, so her back was away from the window. This didn't work, and Chione slowly, and with more than a few misgivings, lifted herself up. She looked around, wonderingly, where was she. Then, as the fog lifted from her brain, she remembered, the high Priest, the search, and the Pharaoh.
"I'll leave now," the stranger said. Chione did not reply.
Chione got out of her bed, she walked to the wardrobe, and she selected a simple crisp white linen dress. A full length mirror was in her room, she stood before it, dressing, last she pinned her long hair up, and slipped on her arm bracelets. Turning to leave she found herself face to face with another girl.
"I'm so sorry," the girl said. It was the one who had awakened her, the girl's voice was soft, and she was dressed primly in a long white cloth dress, she wore no jewelry, she had a honest, and pretty, face, and long black hair.
"Don't worry about it? Who are you?"
"I'm…I'm Aziza. I'm your personal servant. If there's anything you need, just tell me."
"Right now I need some food."
"Sure, I'll take you to the main dining hall."
Aziza led her to a large, white-washed room, covered in beautiful pictures, most of which featured the Pharaoh. Large windows let the sun in, and gave the room a cheerful look.
"Wow…" Chione said, in amazement, looking wonderingly at the drawings.
"Do you like this room?" Chione whirled around, there stood the Pharaoh himself.
"Oh…You scared me…"
"Sorry…this is one of my favorite rooms. Do you like it?"
"It…it's beautiful…" The Pharaoh smiled gently at her stuttering. She went red.
"Here," Aziza broke the silence by giving Chione a large platter of food. Chione's eyes went wide, she had never seen this much food.
She ate some of it, and slipped the rest of it into a napkin on her lap. She thought that the Pharaoh had noticed this, but if he did he said nothing. She excused herself; Aziza made as to follow her, Chione said, "Don't, it's fine. I can get to my room by myself, I'm sure you have other things to do; I wouldn't want to keep you from your work. I don't feel well, I may lie down for a while, please don't disturb me." Aziza looked surprised and a little confused, but she merely nodded.
Chione fairly flew to her room, once there she locked the door, and slipped off her bracelets, and put on a dark cloak. She placed the food in her pocket, and left the room through the window. Outside there was a large tree that grew almost next to the window, she hopped onto it, and skillfully slid/climbed down it. She snuck out of the palace grounds, and back into the city. She relaxed, the familiar sounds of the city which she had grown up in comforted her. It was nice to be back in the city where she felt she fit in. However now, she felt odd, having experienced the fine life, she wasn't sure she wanted to revert back to her old life. The feeling, however, passed within seconds. She spotted a familiar figure, and slipped over to him. She tugged him into an alleyway.
"It's me, where's Silver Wolf?"
"Right here," Chione shivered in delight when she heard him speak. "You're back, Rat was positive we'd never see you again."
"Awww…Chief, I was just joking," the other man said sullenly.
Chione giggled.
"Come on, we have to get back to our hideout." She walked beside Sliver Wolf, giddy with happiness; she had so much to tell him.

Once they were back in their hideout, she removed her cloak, showing them the food she'd pocketed for them.
"Wow, look at this grub…Chief, we'll be eating like the Pharaoh for weeks off this." Rat said.
"Great, now you go off and share it with the rest, but save some for me. I want to be alone with Nashwa."

"Nashwa, darling, my morning star, I've missed you so much."
"I'm only doing this for you, you sure I won't get killed?"
"I promise that they will never touch a hair on your head, and we will escape with all the riches you can carry. Then I can marry you, and we will live together forever." He kissed her softly. She pressed against him, loving his scent, he always smelled like fresh rain. She deepened the kiss, needing him. He started to undress, when she stopped him, laying a hand on his now bare chest.
"We can't do this yet; I'm supposed to be a virgin."
"Very well, Nashwa, but we will be together, and once this is over, I shall marry you, but not until I can buy you all the things that one of your beauty deserves. I made that vow to myself years ago, and I will not break it."
"Promise?" She said, nuzzling his strong chest.
"I promise on the morning star."
She smiled, the familiar promise bringing back memories of her youth.
**Flashback**
"Stop it, you bullies. Don't hurt that dog." She had cried.
"Well, what do we have here, a little girly, I think we should teach her a lesson." Three bigger kids had threatened her.
"If you want to be taught a lesson, how about I teach you?" Silver Wolf had said.
"Well, well, well, it looks like her little boyfriend is going to rescue her. How `bouts we teach `em both a lesson in pain that they'll never forget."
"Bring it on." Silver Wolf had cried.
He had made short work of them, and stood comforting her.
"Silver Wolf, you rescued me."
"I'll always be there to save you."
"Promise?" She had asked.
"See that up there? What is it?" He had pointed to the sky, it was just before dawn, and she had squinted up, looking to where he pointed.
"You mean the morning star."
"Yes. So long as the morning star rises, dawn will come. It's always there. I promise by the morning star that I'll always be there for you."
**End Flashback**
"It's time you got back to the palace…my little Morning Star."
