Chapter 9:Sometimes . . .
At the Udjat Temple
Ishizu woke up in a luxurious bed with wine colored bedspreads and pillows. Everything was made of velvet. She was startled to find that Heishin was watching her.
Heishin's PoV
There she was sleeping a fitful sleep. She kept tossing and turning, and yelling, "Marik! Marik!" Pity... Yet... She awoke and was at once on her guard when she saw me. I sat next to her. Her hair... I love her hair... But she clearly needed a bath. I grabbed her arm and pulled her in the bathroom. She struggled to get away, and went as far as to bite me to get away. I laughed and told her, "Listen little whore, take your bath and be grateful. With that I locked the door ad waited. I heard her crying through the door, but after a long time, she decided a bath would do her good. While she was behind the bath curtains I went inside to get her clothes. I heard her crying, and could not stop from thinking thoughts that a decent man would not have. I however, thought to myself as I closed the door, was not a decent man. I called for Senmut.
"Bring the other clothes here and inform me of when she is dressed. Then tell her I want to see her in my room immediately."
With that I left and waited, and waited. Ah, but I am used to waiting... I have waited thousands of years for revenge... and now I cannot wait longer.... Where are you Pharaoh. Isn't what I have done enough to let you know I'm not playing around. Alas, perhaps it isn't. I hear a knock, and then Senmut comes in with the most beautiful woman in the world. The woman that should have been mine... only mine....
She timidly sits down. She is beautiful, with the white dress that has a very low v-cut, I plainly see her ... I want her so much.... She looks at me. And she begins to speak.
"Why, why Heishin? I would have thought you had no heart? Why did you allow me to comfort my brother?"
I smile.
"You should be grateful I did, little pigeon I sigh. "You are like a mother to him are you not. I once had a son, but he was killed, on that fateful night, by soldiers of the Pharaoh."
Comprehension dawned on Ishizu's face. "So that's why-"
I cut her off, "Yes yes Ishizu, that' is why I hate him so much."
Ishizu blinked trying to make sense of it all, "But why did they kill him."
"Because," I told her. "He was the reincarnation of the devil, he is what lies beyond the final seal. But, I must know what the key is Ishizu. tell me, I beg of you."
Ishizu looked at me with pity. "But why do you treat me like this? Why do you care about me so much?"
"Because I love you. I always have loved you. Five thousand years have passed and I still love you. But, you never loved me back. You were stolen from me my that despicable Sorcerer Priest. Despicable, but he was my most useful follower. Then he turned on me and went after the Pharaoh on his own. He lost of course but he told Yami of our hideouts and plans. On that one night, when our plans were to be made final, they attacked. That Sorcerer was leading them, and they killed Shaitan. They killed my son."
Ishizu frowned, "Who was this Sorcerer Priest, the one I supposedly once loved?"
I forced myself to look at her. "Once loved, no little pidgeon, you still do, in your heart you know that I speak of Seto Kaiba. So tell me, what is the final key!! Or your brothers die."
Ishizu gulped. "The final key," she began," is the Eight Item, Anubis' Secret.
At Bakura's Apartment
"Let me out!!!!"
That voice was Yami Bakura's. Bakura looked worried.
"Are you sure we should have locked him in there?"
He asked Shadi. Shadi merely shrugged, while taking off his turban, revealing long, dark hair underneath.
He said,"Your Yami is currently drunk, and from what you have told me about him,CRAZY! So what do you think?"
"Well..." Bakura still wasn't so sure. He knew how drastic Yami Bakura could be if he didn't get his way.
"Fine!" They heard Yami Bakura yell from inside the room. "I'll huff, and puff, and take drastic measures!!
Bakura frowned as Yami Bakura continued. "I won't stop singing until you let me out of here!!!"
"Oh no!" said Bakura.
"We'll just ignore him." said Shadi.
"You don't understand, he has a horrible singing voice, and he's loud, REAL loud, and he doesn't care if he sings for days, he'll never stop!"
Then Yami Bakura started to sing. "You drive me crazy!!!! I'm in too deep!!!! I'm so excited!!!! Underneath your clothes!!!!! There's an endless story!!!!! A moment like this!!!!!! Some people wait a lifetime!!!! Baby boy you stay on my mind!!!!! Fulfill my fantasies!!!!!!!"
He stopped for breath but continued," One-thousand nine-hundred ninety nine bottles of beer on the wall!!! One-thousand nine-hundred ninety nine bottles of beer!!! Take one down!!!!! Pass it around!!!! One-thousand nine-hundred ninety eight bottles of beer on the wall!!!!
At Kaiba's mansion
The helicopter was ready for take-off...
Seto's PoV
Where are they!! I have no time for their stupidness! Stupid puppy-eyes!! Good they're coming. Wait! Who's that with them? Oh it's the runt, Yugi. And ... is that ... it is! Wheeler! Hah! Finally! A form of entertainment!
They boarded my fastest helicopter, not before all of them received a death glare from me. I put my helicopter on auto-pilot, heading towards Egypt. Then, I went out to bug Wheeler. Not to my surprise, he was already checking everything in my helicopter. I smirked and said,"I know, Wheeler. Isn't it a change from that cardboard box you live in. If you behave, I might be nice enough to get you a REAL dog-house."
He glared at me. "I have a piece of advice for you. Take all that money of yours an' stuff it up your-"
I cut him off, "Temper, temper Wheeler! You need anger management classes. If we don't train you now, people might begin to think you have rabies."
He was pissed-off now.
"Listen rich boy! I'm twice the man you'll ever be!
I merely said,"Is that so?"
"You bet it's so! I can take you right here right now!! Or any place!! So bring it on!!"
I smirked and told Yami,"I think you forgot your dog's leash."
"That's it money bags!! No one speaks to Joey Wheeler that way!!"
He lunged at me, fists ready. All I did was grab him by his shirt and throw him to the other end of my helicopter. Then I said, "Down, boy!! Stay."
He lunged at me again. that's it! He crossed the line, right there! I punched on the nose. He went flying to the floor his nose bleeding. The midget ran to him. Meanwhile Yami had come to me angry.
He said,"How dare you! You'll pay now!!
I laughed. "What are you going to do? Poke me to death with your hair? Stay out of this midget and let Wheeler fight his own battles. Unless he's not MAN enough to."
Wheeler stood up, anger in his eyes. But, Yugi pulled him back. "No Joey! Let it go! He's not worth it!"
I sat down calmly and took out a book on business strategies. But secretly, I was spying on Wheeler. Not in that way pervs!! Just want to see how he's doing. Not that I care!! Although his nose wasn't broken, it was bleeding a lot. And Joey was trying to stop the blood flow with his hand.
"I'm ok, I'm ok!" he kept saying, but he wasn't., that was obvious. Arg! Stupid, stupid concience I got up and fetched a towel. It had my initials on it too! I went out and threw it to Joey, I mean Wheeler.
"Here Joey! I'm ... sorry."
Then I calmly sat down and started reading my book again. I heard the losers whispering to each other.
"Did you see that Joey? I told you give him a chance."
"He started it Yug.!"
"But he's no at all THAT cold-hearted, see!"
"Yeah, I guess moneybags is alright. But I STILL think he looks more like a dog than me! A poodle maybe.."
Gr! I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that . . . So we're going to Egypt . . .maybe I'll see Ishizu- No! Why am I thinking of that crazy woman!!! Because she's got the most beautiful blue-green eyes, and her lips . . . Arg!! NO! Why can't I stop thinking of her!! Maybe because . . . I'm in love with her . . .
