Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Forbidden Wishes ❯ Strange Feelings ( Chapter 4 )
(Author's Note: It has been six months since Kajika's death, and Yugi has gotten back to his old self. Yami has gotten a job at Kaiba Corp as an Intermediate Duel Coordinator. His job takes him away on business trips going to many cities that held tournaments using Kaiba Corp's technology. His job was to over see duels that Kaiba himself couldn't make it to or just didn't feel like attending. This chapter picks up on one of Yami's trips.)
Rain pattered the window late one evening. Yugi stared out the window wondering how his darker half was doing. He was away on another business trip. Kaiba's little brother, Mokuba was very sick and he had to send Yami to fill his place as the official Kaiba Corp spokesperson. Yami liked his job, but didn't like it when it took him away from Yugi for long periods of time. Yugi's sigh fogged the window. His cell phone beeped and he picked it up.
"Yeah?"
"Rather informal way to answer the phone, Yugi." A warm chuckle followed. "How are you doing?" Seto's voice sounded weary, but warm.
"I'm okay. I just miss Yami. How's Mokuba?"
"He's okay. He should be able to come home in a week or so. I hated to pull Yami away from you, but it was an emergency." Seto had dropped the icy façade towards both Yami and Yugi after Kajika had been killed. Seto had felt bad to see Yugi going through the depression that followed and had taken under his wing. He got him a job at Kaiba Land, and had paid for counseling to help Yugi work through his problems.
"That's good to hear. I'm glad to hear he's getting better."
"Me too. Yugi, I know you've been sick yourself, think you'll feel up to going out for coffee?"
Yugi perked up. Seto was always taking Yugi out when Yami was out of town. Seto feared that if Yugi were left alone too long, he'd sink back into his depression. True, Yugi had his grandpa, but Yugi need to hang out with his old friends. Yami often joked that Seto was trying to steal Yugi away from him, but they both knew it wasn't true. Yugi looked at his clock and back out the window.
"Yeah, coffee sounds great. I'll be ready in a few minutes."
"Okay. I'll be there to get you."
Yugi checked his reflection in the mirror then quickly left his room. He rushed back in to grab up his cell phone. As he was waiting for Seto to show up, it beeped again, he turned it on and heard Yami's voice immediately.
"Hi, Love." Yami sounded extremely tired. "I'm stuck in Paris. Something happened and all the flights are grounded. All I want to do is get home and be with you. I miss you so much."
Yugi smiled. Yami always called Yugi when he was away, and when he was coming home.
"I miss you too Yami, I think of you every day." Yugi rested his head on the doorframe outside the game shop. He looked up the rain soaked streets, but didn't hear any cars coming. "How did the tournament go?"
"It was good, some 13 year old girl won, and is moving on to the World Tournament next month. It's for her age group. She's good, too. So what are you going to do?"
"I'm waiting on Seto. He wants to take me out for coffee, just to get away from the hospital for a while, I guess. He's been there day in and day out since Mokuba was admitted. He's hardly left there. He stayed here last night, only because Joey tricked him into coming here. " Yugi decided to stop there. Telling Yami that Seto had shared Yugi's bed, even only to sleep might not be a good idea. Yugi heard Yami yawn over the line. "I hope you find somewhere you can get some rest, you sound tired."
"Yugi I'm so beyond tired, but even if I was to get home now, that wouldn't stop me." Yami's voice trailed off into another yawn. Yugi chuckled, Yami had said that once before, then came home and promptly fell asleep.
Yugi looked up the street and saw a limo pulling up. Yami yawned into the phone again, and Yugi sighed. As much as he loved to talk to Yami, he wanted him to rest.
"Yami, I love talking to you, but you are tired. I want you go rest"
The limo pulled to a stop and the driver got out and opened the door. Yugi darted through the rain into the waiting car. The car door closed, and soon the car started to move again.
"Yugi, as long as I hear your voice, I'll be okay." He yawned again. "Then again, I think you are right. I had better try go get some sleep." A sudden squeak stopped what he was going to say. "Yugi, are you alright?"
"Ya-ahmi, I'm (Seto! Stop) Oh-kay." Yami could hear his friend and boss's muffled laughter over the phone. He didn't care if Seto took care of his lover's needs when he was gone, for when Seto and Yami were out of town together, they did the same for each other. Yugi knew it, and didn't care.
"Yugi, don't stop him." Yami's need for sleep had suddenly vanished. He felt himself grow hard. He could hear Yugi moaning his name, pleadingly. He looked over at the body that shared his bed. Seto's current flame Joey, had accompanied Yami on this trip, but only as a friend and companion. He'd called Seto the night before telling him that Yugi's grandpa was away and Yugi was all alone. Seto didn't know the truth; it was just a ploy to pull him away from Mokuba's bedside.
A dull thud sounded on the line, and Seto's laughter rang out. Yugi's voice returned on the line, though he sounded breathless. Yami was slightly disappointed but didn't let Yugi know.
"I think Seto wants to talk to you, Yami."
Yugi handed the phone to Seto. He stared out the window while Seto discussed business matters with Yami. He heard him click the phone off. Seto turned to Yugi and kissed him. Yugi fought him for a moment, then gave in. A few moments later, Seto broke the kiss.
"That was from Yami."
The limo pulled into a quiet parking lot outside a small coffee shop. The two jumped from the car and raced for the door. After they ordered their drinks and a dessert, Yugi excused himself. He stepped into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. A small bruise was on his neck. He closed his eyes and sighed. Yami had been away for three weeks, leaving Yugi to sleep alone in their bed. Seto sometimes would try to comfort Yugi, but it just wasn't the same. Last night, though, Yugi couldn't fight it. Seto had done more than just sleep. What Yugi didn't know is that Seto had his cell phone on, and Yami was on the other end.
Yugi felt a wave of nausea sweep over him. He had been sick for the past two days, but had felt fine today. He stepped into one of the stalls trying desperately to fight it. In his haste, he forgot to lock the door to the small cubicle. He could no longer fight it, and as he began to heave, he felt a warm embrace hold him. Cool fingers swept his hair from his face.
When Yugi finished vomiting, he looked up into Seto's eyes. The older boy's face showed concern. He lifted Yugi in his arms and carried him back to the table. He paid for their order and asked for the stuff to be fixed so they could take it with them.
Yugi figured that Seto would take him back home, but he never guessed he'd wind up at Seto's mansion. He felt himself being carried up into the large house, then into a bedroom. Cool fingers undressed him, and strong arms lifted him into a warm bath. Yugi laid in the bath, feeling Seto wash away the chills of the fever and of the rain. Finally, he felt himself lifted onto a warm towel and carried to Seto's massive bed. He fell asleep instantly.
Yugi woke up hours later feeling tender kisses on his neck. He stretched and leaned into them feeling himself grow hard. The kisses moved down his chest, and onto his belly. His hands guided the head to where he needed immediate attention. The wind sounded strange, Yugi noticed. It sounded like a helicopter. Yugi kept his eyes closed, ignoring the sounds, and giving into the feelings. Right now, he didn't care. He needed this.
Cool fingers swept his hair off his ear, and Yugi gasped as another began to kiss him. The lips moved to suckle at his ear, and Yugi groaned loudly. He began to smell Yami's cologne, and stiffened. The lips at his ear broke their hold and spoke.
"Miss me love?" There was no jealousy or anger in Yami's voice, just tenderness. Yugi felt Yami's tender embrace hold him, and he felt the gentle thrust of Yami entering him. Yugi felt himself spiral into a whirlwind of ecstasy. He lost track of all time and reason. All too soon, it was over, and he felt Yami leave him. Yugi turned to face Yami, snuggled close and fell asleep, ignoring the sounds behind him.
