Chapter 28

Happy Ever Ending

3-3-3-3

Pegasus slowly made his way to the front door. Someone had to be here 7:00 a.m. in the morning, obnoxiously pounding on the wood. He groaned irritably as he answered the door. “What?” He wasn't exactly surprised to see the CEO standing on his front doorstep. It was actually, very expected.

Seto stared coldly at the aristocrat and pushed pass him into the mansion. “I'm here for my son. Where is he?”

“Nice greeting,” Pegasus sneered.

“I could say the same for you,” Seto shot back before searching the house with his eyes for the missed cat.

“You woke us up at seven in the morning just to retrieve your son. You really don't believe in hospitality, do you?” Pegasus stretched his arms out of his head and yawned.

Seto glared at the older man from over his shoulder. “Where is my son, Pegasus?”

“I'll go get him.” The aristocrat made his way upstairs and started down the hallway. The said cat whom was walking toward him with lazy steps immediately greeted him.

Jeto stared at the silver haired man and smiled groggily. “What's going on? I thought I heard my father's voice.”

Pegasus nodded. “You did. He's downstairs. Your old man needs to learn some manners.”

Jeto smirked. “I'm sorry, Pegasus. My dad is rude when he becomes anxious.”

“I'd believe it,” Pegasus remarked and treaded pass the black cat to his room to sleep. By the time he was back in his room, Duke was already awake and brushing his hair while sitting in front of a mirror. “It's only seven o five, love. Go back to bed,” he droned as he fell back against the top mattress.

Duke shook his head. “I'm sure Seto would like some breakfast. We should at least show him some hospitality.”

Why did that seem like a total recall of this morning's events? Pegasus sat up and stared at his husband with a frown. “Why should we show any kindness to that CEO bastard?”

“Because I'll hate you if you don't!” Duke pouted as he gave `the look' at full force.

Pegasus winced and immediately stood up. “Where are my clothes?” He scrounged through their closet until he came across his violet tuxedo that he always wore on special occasions. However, he wouldn't really consider this `a special occasion' if his dear husband wasn't around. “I can't believe how you always get your way.”

Duke smiled curtly and kissed his mate passionately. “Because I'm the cute one.”

Meanwhile, downstairs, Seto was observing a family painting hanging just above the fireplace. It was of the Pegasus family. Maximillion stood on the left with his arm wrapped around Duke's shoulder. Their son, Patience, whom was no older than ten years old, stood between them with both his parents' hands on his shoulders. He appeared disgruntled. It was obvious from the forced grin.

Seto flinched when someone latched their self to his back and hugged him tightly around the chest. He peered at the arms and smiled brightly. “Jeto, my son!” He gently pulled away and turned to face the cat. “My gawd, how you've grown!”

Jeto tried to prolong the tears threatening to already spill. “Father, I've missed you so much!”

The CEO abruptly wrapped his arms around Jeto's shoulders and hugged him tightly. “I've missed you too!” He repeatedly kissed the teen's messy, brown mop and then his forehead, leaving it to linger a moment longer. “Where's Tet? I want to get you home so everyone can see how much you've changed.”

“T-Tet isn't here, father. He's gone…with Mahado,” Jeto stuttered nervously.

“Mahado? The President to DM Inc? Why?”

Jeto blushed as he responded. “They're getting married.”

Seto stared at his middle son quizzically. “Are you serious?”

“Yes, father.”

The man pondered for a moment before laughing. “I suppose he's better off.”

Jeto blinked.

“Don't get me wrong, son. I love Tet just as much as any of you, but he doesn't have the proper skills to become leader!” Seto started to beam again with his ultra rare smile. “I'm so glad that nothing has happened to either of you though.”

Jeto couldn't help but think his father was acting abnormally strange, but he'd have to overlook that for now. “So, how's Destin?”

“Destin is good. He's been going with Bast on his business trips, learning the ropes to become one of my back up duelists. Your dad has also been going with them.” Seto's tone of voice dropped to that of someone who just broke up with his or her lover.

“Father, are you alright? You sound miserable.” Jeto pointed out.

Seto shook his head as he patted his son on the shoulder. “Nah, I'm just getting old…and lonely.”

The cat smirked. “I guess that means you REALLY want me back home.” He hugged his father again and never wanted to release the warmth that he had missed for so long, ever again. “I love you, father.”

“I love you too!”

That morning everyone, including Patience, spent eating breakfast and catching up on old times. Even Pegasus had to admit, the CEO was much more fun to hang around when he wasn't being a stuck up, anxious bastard. However, there were some points of the conversations that Duke had to kick his older lover in the shin to shut him up before he made a major mistake with their `get along' reunion.

It was later in the afternoon that Seto decided it was time for him and Jeto to depart.

There were long lingering looks between the two teens, and both their parents couldn't help but notice.

Seto smirked as he gazed at Pegasus and Duke. “You wouldn't mind if your son moved in with us, would you?”

Patience blinked and stared at his parents as well. “Please! I'll be really good!”

Duke and Pegasus laughed. “Of course you can, but you'll have to come and visit us every once in a while.”

“Yay,” Patience chirped. He tackled his new lover to the ground and kissed him repeatedly. “Now I can be with you forever.”

Jeto winced and tried to push the panther off, but with not much success. “Uh…Patience…I can't breathe!”

The whole countryside echoed with laughter from the three parents and their children.

One Year Later…

Jeto sat in his desk chair, admiring how his lover cradled the small bundle of joy in his arms. He peered down at his rounded stomach, which showed the signs of a new arrival on its way. “One of these days, Patience, I'm going to try and understand how you trick me into getting pregnant.”

Patience chuckled as he kissed his small son on the forehead and tickled his panther ears before placing him in the cradle beside his husband's desk. He then approached his lover and gently rubbed his stomach, smiling when he felt the small kicks and punches. “This one will be more rambunctious than the first, I think.”

“Yes, this one will be.” Jeto kissed the panther passionately and moaned softly to the luscious lips. He jumped when the office doors opened abruptly, revealing his father and dad. “What's going on?” he gasped. “You're going to make me go into labor sooner if you keep slamming the doors open like that.”

Seto and Joey laughed as they stepped aside, showing the two new proud parents, Bakura and Mokuba.

Jeto slowly got to his feet and cutely waddled toward his uncles with Patience right beside him. He peered at the small wonder in Bakura's arms and couldn't believe how much it resembled the x-thief. It had a thick bush of silverfish, blonde hair, and deeply tanned skin.

“What is it?” Patience asked.

“It's a girl, and her name is Asia.” Mokuba replied.

Jeto smiled at his father's bodyguard. “Go figure a man like you would be the one giving birth!”

Bakura snorted. “Shut up! I didn't even know I was the one that could get pregnant!”

“Well, I guess it's safe to say…Seto is pregnant too,” Joey announced with a blush.

Everyone in the room stared amazedly at the CEO whom had a smirk on his lips. “The doc says I'm out of the danger zone. I can now have as many children as I want. But right now, I'm just having one. Thank God!”

Mokuba, Bakura, Patience, and Jeto hugged the couple eagerly and congratulated them.

The baby squeaked in Bakura's arms after they squeezed her in a hug.

Everyone chuckled and apologized to the small infant who scolded them all with a death glare, which caused them to laugh harder.

The End

A/N: Yay! I've finished. T.T That was very hard, but I like the way it came out. -beams with pride- XD Now I can work on my other story…which will probably take me forever as well. -sighs-
