Bakura sneered in contempt before testing the barrier again. To his surprise and amazement it melted away as if it had never existed. A smirk was etched on his face as he strolled casually back into his soulroom. He blinked once, letting his sight drift over the interior. Nothing had changed since he was last there. It had been a while since he had been able to enter and he was going to make sure that Ryou suffered. He also had to make sure that the Pharaoh's hikari would be paid back as well for trying to get rid of him.

Bakura brooded silently, conjuring up different scenarios of torture in his mind, both physical and mental.

Ryou sat in class taking notes from the board when a sudden wave of intense and unpleasant coldness descended upon him. He shivered once before his eyes lost focus and they glazed over. Nausea overwhelmed him as he was tossed unceremoniously into his darkened soulroom. Ryou glanced around noting the change of scenery, both of location and the sparse décor before the door to the room was slammed open. Ryou's mind put two and two together as Bakura smiled maliciously, enjoying the fear that rolled off his 'partner' in waves. He stood in the doorway and chuckled softly.

"Foolish boy. You ignored the warning given to you by the Spirit of the Puzzle. You also thought nothing of the dreams I sent you. I guess you deserve what is about to come. You and also your 'friend' Yugi." Bakura moved away from the door, closing and locking it. He would not allow Ryou to best him this time.

Ryou stood from his earlier sitting position and made his way to the bed located in the room. The bed in question was a ragged mattress with two thin sheets. He sat in the middle of the mattress and drew one of the sheets around him while trying to block out the fear he was feeling. Fear for himself and for whatever danger he had drawn Yugi into. A barely audible, "I'm sorry," was heard as the teen lay down, preparing for the worst.

As Bakura's gaze sharpened and focused, he found that he had taken over his vessel during a class lecture. With a combination of glancing at the board and sifting through Ryou's notes, he learned in a matter of minutes that the said class was History. A quick surreptitious look around the class informed him of all he needed to know. The boy Yugi also took this class and was currently paying more attention to his studies than to his classmates.

Bakura rose from his seat and packed Ryou's books away into the bag on the floor before walking out of class. He was stopped by the teacher, but resumed his trek after giving a plausible excuse for leaving. As Bakura walked down the hallway he noticed another one of Yugi's friends. He couldn't recall the name but he also had reason to believe that Ryou knew this individual as well. He ignored her, as he appeared to leave the school.

Tea Gardner paused as 'Ryou' stalked past her without a 'hello' or even a smile of acknowledgement. She continued to watch in silence as the white-haired teen turned the corner. Shuddering once, she made her way back to class. She would have to check with Yugi if he noticed anything strange about 'Ryou's' behavior.

Bakura chuckled silently as the girl moved away from where she had been standing. He finally recognized her now and hoped that nothing was amiss. He hadn't left the building just yet and he continued down the hall, back the way he had came. Stopping in front of the door to Ryou's class, he glanced at the door before finalizing his decision. He wandered for a few minutes before locating an exit to the building. It was time to go home and instill some obedience in his light.
