Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Generation X ❯ Chapter One ( Chapter 1 )
A young boy sat on his bed, in his bedroom, attempting to do his homework. It was Friday and he had the whole weekend to finish it, but it was his worst subject, English, and would most likely take him all weekend, if not longer, to finish it. He still didn't understand why they had to take English when they lived in Japan. Most people who lived Japan didn't know English, and had no desire to learn the language, let alone take a whole course on it. He'd just about learned Japanese completely, and now they were making him learn a whole new language.
He sighed, running a hand through his sandy blonde hair, pushing his bangs off his forehead, only to have them fall back in place. Hearing the doorbell ring, he jumped up, running to answer it before his yami got to it. Opening the door, he smiled as he spotted his friend before him.
"Ryou, hey!" Malik smiled, stepping aside so the snowy white haired boy could enter, "Thank Ra you're here. My English homework was giving me a headache."
Ryou smiled, giggling a little at the look on Malik's face. "Oh come now, English isn't that bad..."
"That's because it's your native language!" Malik pouted, "You were lucky enough to grow up in England, unlike the rest of Japan."
"Then I so rock," Ryou grinned, "But really, it's easy once you learn it. Just look how quick you learned Japanese!"
"Japanese is way easier," Malik insisted, leading Ryou back to his bedroom, spinning around as he heard Ryou yelp in shock, "MARIK! Stop trying to suffocate Ryou!"
Malik's yami, Marik, grinned evilly, releasing Ryou from his deathly bear hug. "Sorry Ryou... where's that Tomb Robber of your's?"
Ryou, who had fallen to the ground from the force of Marik jumping on him, stood slowly, his face tinged red. Before he could say anything, the Millennium Ring around his neck glowed, and is a quick flash of light, Ryou's yami, Bakura, was on Marik, hugging him tightly. "Makky!" Bakura grinned, "I missed you!"
Malik and Ryou both sweatdropped. "Was it a good idea to let them two get together?" Ryou wondered aloud as they entered Malik's bedroom.
"I don't think so..." Malik sighed a little, sitting back on his bed, Ryou joining him, "Now, help me with my homework."

A man walked through downtown Domino, earning himself some odd looks from those he passed. You couldn't really blame them, as his tanned frame was clothed in a cream white shirt/skirt with a golden band around his waist, serving as a belt, a pair of shoes resembling flipflops, and a long flowing cape behind him. He also had on lots of gold jewelry, bands around his neck and forearms, one band around each upperarm, big gold earrings and a golden headpiece.
Purple eyes scanned his surroundings, trying to figure out where he was. Everything looked so different to him, nothing like his homeland of Egypt, and most certainly nothing like his palace.
Something caught his eye. There was a crowd of people, gathered around two boys, and in front of them were duel monsters, but to the man, these duel monsters looked real, nothing like the stone tablets people at home used. Each of the boys had some kind of gadget on their left forearms, and each were holding what looked like cards. The man stopped in the crowd, having never seen dueling like this before.
"Dark Magician, attack his life points directly!"
The man looked up, noticing for the first time, that the one who called the Dark Magician to attack, looked almost identical to him. The only main differences were that this boy was much smaller, paler and had big friendly eyes. His eyes matched those of the man, and his hair was unmistakably the same color, except with his bangs kept to the sides of his face and his hair wasn't as wild as the man's was.
"Yeah, go Yugi!"
"Kick his butt Yugi!"
'Yugi... so that must be his name,' the man thought to himself, 'But why does he look so much like me?'
Yugi grinned at his defeated opponent, Mai Valentine. "Nice duel Yugi," Mai smiled at him with respect for the young duelist, "You've sure improved a lot since our last duel."
"Thanks Mai," Yugi smiled brightly, grinning a running towards Yami, hugging him tightly around the waist. Yami giggled a little at his hikari's happiness. "Very nice job Aibou," Yami smiled at him, hugging him tightly, "You've improved greatly."
The man blinked a little. There were two? The other man who was currently holding Yugi close, looked even more so like him, a few bangs streaked through his hair. And what was that around Yugi's neck? The Millennium Puzzle...?
Deciding this was a bit too intense, the man waited until the crowd dispersed, before making his way over to his two look a likes. "Excuse me," the man said in a powerful voice, one that could be recognized as being of great importance.
Both Yami and Yugi turned, their eyes widening considerably at the sight they were awarded. "Who are you?" Yugi spoke after a moment, shaking the initial shock off his body, "And why do you look like us?"
The man chose his words carefully, not knowing if he could trust them yet or not. "My name is Atemu, and as for looking like you, I believe it is you who look like me."
Yami finally decided to speak, "Atemu..." he muttered to himself more so than anything, "That sounds familiar..."
"I am the Pharaoh of Egypt," Atemu told them, "Who are you?"
"I'm Yugi!" Yugi smiled, ever the most friendly hikari, "And this is my yami. His name is Yami."
"Your dark?" Atemu asked in confusion.
"Long story short, I'm his hikari, his light, and he's my yami, my dark. Basically one soul split into two halves, light and dark," Yugi tried to explain, "And you said you're the Pharaoh? Yami was the Pharaoh 3,000 years ago in Egypt."
Atemu nodded a little, letting this information sink in. "I see..." he said softly to himself, "I'm not sure how I arrived here. The last thing I remember was going to sleep for the night, and when I awoke I was wandering around this town."
"Well you could stay with Yugi and me," Yami said, interested in finding out as much about this man as he could, "Grandpa's out of town, so we have the place to ourselves."
"Thank you," Atemu smiled warmly at them, appreciating their hospitality greatly, as he had nowhere else to go.

Ishizu listened intently as Yami sat before her in the museum, telling her of the events that happened earlier that day. "The Pharaoh is with you and Yugi now? And he said his name is Atemu." Ishizu thought for a moment. "Atemu... that was indeed the Pharaoh's name... your name Yami."
Yami looked genuinely confused. "My name? So... you're saying he's really me, only from 3,000 years ago?"
"Exactly," Ishizu nodded, "The Pharaoh's name was rarely talked about among my family, but we were told his name was Atemu. And if my Millennium Necklace is correct, then Atemu is you, only from 3,000 years in the past. But why he's here in our time now, is unclear to me. But my necklace also showed three others, who are soon to arrive. And it's my guess that it has something to do with the Millennium Items, and being a yami or a hikari."
"So there's a chance that Atemu might be mine and Yugi's yami?" Yami asked, putting it all together, "But it doesn't make much sense..."
"I know it doesn't, but all things fall into place eventually. I'm not sure what destiny has planned for you, but I have a feeling it must be something to look forward to."

"So what's it like to be Pharaoh?" Yugi asked eagerly, sitting beside Atemu on the sofa, after giving him some new clothes to wear, which consisted of blue jeans and a white t-shirt.
"Fun at times," Atemu smiled slightly, enjoying Yugi's company muchly, "Boring for the most part."
"Really?" Yugi smiled, leaning his head on Atemu's shoulder, as the three of them sort of bonded instantly.
"There you are!" Yami smiled as he came into the living room with them, "I just talked with Ishizu. She believes that Atemu is our yami, Yugi."
"I am?" Atemu blinked, then smiled slowly, "Wow..."
"Awesomeness!" Yugi grinned widely, "That's so cool!" He hugged Atemu tightly, looking to Yami. "Can we keep him Yami? Please?!"
Yami giggled a bit, as did Atemu. "No need to keep me, Yugi," Atemu smiled, "I'd be more than happy to stay with you and Yami."

"Finally!" Malik sighed, shutting his English notebook and tossing it to the side, "I'm glad that's over."
Ryou giggled, sitting up on his knees before crawling behind Malik, placing his hands on Malik's shoulders, rubbing gently. "Mmm.." Malik sighed gratefully, "Feels so nice..." All three yamis and three hikaris were close. Kinda like a big family, if you will. They did almost everything together, including anything intimate. That didn't necessarily mean that all six of them did everything together at once, but they had their respective couples, Malik and Marik, Yugi and Yami, Ryou and Bakura, as well as say, at the moment, Ryou and Malik. They all cared and looked out for one another, and were planning on getting a place of their own in the next week or two.
Ryou leaned down and kissed Malik's neck gently, grinning to himself as a soft purr emitted from Malik's throat. "Feel nice?" Ryou breathed into Malik's ear, before kissing his neck again softly.
"Mmm yes..." Malik moaned quietly, turning his head and capturing Ryou's lip in a bruising kiss. Their tongues battled it out inside their mouths, Ryou tilting his head slightly to grant Malik more access to his mouth. Malik's hands slipped under Ryou's shirt slowly, trailing up his stomach and chest, to his nipples, pinching gently, causing the snowy haired hikari to moan appreciatively. Sliding his hands down again, Malik slipped Ryou's shirt over his head, tossing it out of the way and onto the floor, where, in Malik's opinion, it belonged.
Ryou parted from their kiss long enough to let Malik slip his own shirt off, a soft moan escaping Ryou's throat at the sight of Malik's tanned chest. Leaning in again, Ryou captured Malik's lips once more, taking the dominant role and pressing Malik down onto the bed, before settling ontop of him, Malik spreading his legs and allowing Ryou to rest between them. "Mmm Ryou..." Malik moaned gently as Ryou slowly kissed down Malik's chest and stomach, pausing at the waistband of his black pants. Ryou smiled up at him, before reaching forward and undoing the button and zipper quickly, sliding Malik's pants and boxer off his hips, down his legs and onto the floor, leaving the Egyptian boy completely naked under Ryou's gaze.
"So beautiful.." Ryou smiled, leaning down and kissing Malik softly, trailing his hand down his stomach slowly...
