No one knows exactly why Yuugi Moto ran away like he did. No one except Yuugi of course. The fact is he had sort of a mental break down. You know having it seem like all your friends are leaving you to be buddy with your incarnation, Yuugi could handle, but then his girlfriend breaking up with him to be with his incarnation….that was something he couldn't take.

 

So he took off to tour the world. No one knows this of course….well except the Kaibas and the Istals. You see, Yuugi had no money, so he went to ask Kaiba if he could borrow some. Yuugi wasn't trying to use Kaiba or anything, and Kaiba knew that so he gave him money and a plane ticket. The Istals know because Yuugi staid with them when he was in Egypt.

 

And well it's been two years since then. Yuugi would be seventeen now. In fact his birthday is in a few days. So all of his friends, knowing this, got together to mope. Yami and Anzu were particularly mopey, because Anzu was Yuugi's girlfriend and of curse we know that Yami was Yuugi's incarnation.

 

“Yuugi's birthday is in a few days,” said Jounouchi as they sat around the game shop.

 

“Yeah we know Jou,” Ryou said.

 

“You know, we never figured out why he left…” Otogi pointed out. Anzu and Yami flinched.

 

“Hey um guys—” Shizuka began.

”I mean did he have a reason to leave?” Honda inquired.

 

“That was rude Honda!” Mai exclaimed. “Shizuka was about to say something!” Everyone got quiet. “Go ahead.”

 

“Um…I don't know about this….but is there suppose be duel monsters running around outside?” everyone looked toward the window and sure enough there was real duel monsters attacking things and….yeah.

 

Everyone being shocked and wanting to play hero ran out side, the duelist with their decks. And of course they summoned monsters to defeat the other monsters that were reeking havoc…..but surprisingly, not as the cliché would have it, it didn't work.

 

“Yo! Everyone down there duck and cover!” the people surprisingly listen and ducked. Which was a good thing because a second later, a chakrum came rushing by destroying most of the monsters. The other ones were destroyed by miscellanies silver flying thinks that whizzed by them.

 

“What were those things?” Yami inquired.

 

“Uh… they were duel monsters Yami,” Jouno told him.

 

“Not the monsters Jouno, the silver things.”

 

“Uh, well we've got something else to worry about right now….” Honda told him.

 

“What's that Honda?” Otogi asked.

 

“Him!” Honda exclaimed pointing to the Black Magician. They all turned around and saw the monster towering above them. But surprisingly, he didn't attack, he just retreated.

 

“Follow him!” Yami yelled taking off. Everyone, having nothing else to do, followed Yami and the Black Magician. They ran….and ran… and ran…until finally they rounded a corner, and they saw the Black Magician backing into a door way, and there was a person behind him, though they couldn't tell who the person was.

 

And then the Black Magician started to get smaller….and smaller…and smaller. Until it finally went into the card that the person was holding.

 

“Well then that worked perfectly,” the person said. “He brought you right to me.”

 

“Who are you?!” Yami demanded. “And what do you want?”

“Seriously? You really don't remember me?” the stranger inquired. “Wow I know that I've change a lot, but I didn't think that I had changed that much.” The stranger had spiky blonde hair with reds and blacks riveting through it, purple eyes, tanned skin and was about 5'9”. He wore leather pants with two belts (one sagging one form fitting), a leather arm band and a wrist band that sort of looked like a manickal on his left arm. Also he wore a grey shoulder shirt with small leather bands going across the open part of it.

 

“Wait just one second here,” Jounouchi said. “Who do we know, who loves back magician, has hair like that, violet eyes and wears leather?” They all thought on this for a second before exclaiming,

 

“YUUGI?!?!?!?!?” Yuugi flashed a smile as leaned against the door way.

 

“Hi guys.”
