Gone and Forgotten

Well here is chapter 2 for all of my fans who seem to like No One Cares the most of all of my stories. While Seto's in an emotional breakdown Keora takes charge of all the things that need to be done. Noa's trying to calm Seto down while Keora and Mokuba are up to their necks in work until Keora calls up some of her friends and everything goes fine excluding the paint fight that Bakura, Marik, and everyone gets into. Well I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh so please don't sue.

Chapter 2: Kaiba Corp. Balls and Paint Fights

" Seto Kaiba, get your butt out here!" shouts Keora from downstairs as she looks around the big room that has to be ready for the Kaiba Corp. New Years Ball in a couple of days. Unlike last year when they had rented out a big place they are having it at the house. The sound of fists on glass is all that answers Keora's ears and she sighs and shakes her head.

" Well at least he hasn't broken the t.v. yet," says Mokuba. He was referring to the last time Seto had gotten this way. He had throw a punch at point blank and had broken the t.v. which hadn't made the young CEO very happy.

" I wish he would break that t.v. so then at least he'd be yelling instead of crying," growls Keora as she starts to decorate the room with banners and junk.

" Ring, ring," goes the phone and Keora runs and grabs it.

" Kaiba House, Keora speaking," says Keora.

" Hello, Keora, it's me Malik. Seth keeps complaining that Seto's in trouble or something," says Malik's voice on the other end.

" Sure, he's breaking mirrors again if that's what Seth means," says Keora. Seth was Seto's yami so the Rod actually had two yami's: one being Marik and the other being Seth.

" Is, that Malik?" asks Noa from next to Keora. Keora nods and hands the phone over to the blue-green haired boy. He nods and sighs. " Yes, Malik, he's in one of those moods and I think he'll be like this for a while," says Noa and growls.

" Does the name Kanji ring a bell?" asks Noa.

" Sure, does, his story was all over the news after he died," says Malik on the other end.

" He's Seto's brother," says Noa.

" What!" exclaims Malik and sighs. " Yes, Marik and Seth are agreeing. OK we'll be over there," says Malik and hangs up.

" Thanks," says Keora quietly and Noa nods and goes back up to Seto. Keora closes her eyes and starts to concentrate and on the other end of the line a small laugh is heard. " Ryou, are you there?" asks Keora.

" Sure, what's up?" asks Ryou's mental voice on the other end.

" Seto's lost it again," says Keora simply. She feels Ryou's mind voice sigh and nod.

" So, you want help or something?" asks Ryou.

" Yes, and bring Bakura and Maku over if all possible," says Keora. Maku was Bakura's son in ancient Egypt and he is Mokuba's yami now.

" OK, we'll be over as soon as we can," says Ryou and cuts out. Keora nods and smiles slightly.

" Hey Mokuba, can you hand me the paint can?" asks Keora to her little brother. Mokuba nods and hands her the blue colored paint can. " Thanks," says Keora and Mokuba smiles and keeps working.

" Get the door, get the door," says a cocky voice.

" Harpy, if you don't keep your mouth shut I'll feed you to Divine," says Keora to the big white cockatoo that belongs to Seth. " I don't know why he keeps you, but then again you do make a nice door bell," says Keora and answers the door.

" Hey, Keora," says Yugi as he smiles at the astonished girl.

" Yugi, this really isn't a good time," says Keora quietly.

" Seth, invited us over," says Yami from behind his hikari. Keora sighs and nods to him.

" We'll come in, but be careful we're sort of in a crisis," says Keora. Yugi looks around and raises an eyebrow and points to the paint.

" You going to paint the whole mansion?" asks Yugi jokingly.

" No, and it's not just her, it's you guys too," says Seth from behind them with Marik, Malik, Bakura, Ryou, Maku, and some other person in tow.

" What! You mean you invited us over to help you paint," says Yugi. Seth nods and points to the other person.

" This is Zelda. She came to help out," says Seth. Zelda smiles and looks at Keora.

" I heard about what happened," whispers Zelda. Keora nods and smiles slightly.

" Yeah, my bro lost it," says Keora simply and picks up a paintbrush and starts to paint the room.

" I didn't mean it Bakura," says Seth as he backs away from the enraged white-haired yami. Keora turns around and looks at Bakura who is covered in blue paint. A wicked grin appears on Keora's face and she takes her bucket of paint and throws it at Seth who gets paint all over his clothes.

" Paint Fight!" shouts Keora suddenly and opens up all the paint cans and starts running around dumping them on people.

" How old is she?" asks Zelda as she backs away toward Mokuba.

" She's 13," says Mokuba and dumps a bucket of paint on Zelda's head covering the grey/silver haired girl in blue paint.

" Mokuba Kaiba," hisses Zelda and grabs up her own bucket of paint and dumps it on the black haired boys head.

" Keora, act your age," says Noa as he walks downstairs. Everyone turns toward the blue-green haired boy and smiles.

" Oh, great," says Noa and starts to run, but is tripped by the rug and all of the others dump paint all over him.

" Hey Noa, you look nice in blue," says Bakura sarcastically. Noa glares at the yami and sighs to himself.

" Well, Bakura, you look like a blue porcupine," says Noa. At the mention of porcupines Yugi breaks out laughing and smiles.

" Well, Noa, he's right, you do look nice in blue," says Keora her hands on her hips as she looks at her paint splattered outfit. " Anyway's I think we've finished decorating," says Keora and everyone looks around.

" Well, I think we should go home and clean up," says Bakura, Marik, and their hikari's. Keora smiles and runs up to Ryou and kisses him quickly and runs off to her room. She takes out the journal that belonged to Kanji and opens to a page. Her eyes mist over as she reads the entry.

Dear Journal,

Hiya, it's me again. It hurts so much, my body hurts so much. I wish the pain would just go away, but it won't. Keora found the scars that I received from my adopted parents, but she promised not to tell the doctors. She's the best sister in the world and I hope that when I'm gone she'll still be the way she is. She showed me her own scars that she got at the orphanage. They're smaller then mine, but also younger and more painful. I asked her how she got them, but she wouldn't tell me. Maybe's it's for the best. I mean if she doesn't want to tell me I can't make her. Well I'll make an entry soon.

Kanji

" You're the only one other then Ryou that knows about my scars," says Keora quietly as she pulls up one of her shirt sleeves to reveal the scars. She has the power to hide them from others, but she can't hide them from herself. Keora turns to the back of the book and tugs at the last page and suddenly it opens up. " Wow," whispers Keora as she looks at the page. Written in neat handwriting that didn't look like Kanji's was one single sentence. " Remember me when I'm gone, Remember me when the shadows fall and the moon arises, remember me as I was before I died, remember me and don't let me become Gone and Forgotten," whispers Keora as she reads the words.

" What?" asks a voice from behind Keora. Keora spins around and looks into the white eyes of a green haired girl. " What was it that you read?" asks the girl. Keora takes a step back and looks at the girl in confusion.

" Who or what are you?" asks Keora.

" I'm Mariku, but most people called me Ku. I'm an angel and I remember meeting a boy that kept repeating those exact words. His name was Kanji," says the girl.

" You're Ku?" asks Keora. The girl nods and Keora smiles slightly. " In other words the angel that kept waking Kanji up the night he died," says Keora. Ku nods and looks at Keora.

" Yes, his fondest wish was to stay alive till the New Year, but I could only keep him going for so long," says Ku quietly.

" He mentioned Dream," says Keora quietly. " Not directly, but he mentioned Dream when he died," says Keora. " And you Ku he mentioned you," says Keora and smiled. " You better go before my brothers walk in and find you," says Keora and Ku nods and disappears. " I never forgot you Kanji," says Keora quietly. " But I know what you mean," adds Keora and puts the journal in a case and locks it.

So how did you like it? OK now if you noticed there's a lot of mention of things in that journal and angels. Well I hope you'll read the next chapter when it gets up.
